Exasperating. Prices change day to day. You are notified that your tour MAY NOT actually happen. They leave you in the dark for a day or so. All in all, not the best experience.

Tornhub responds quickly thru their…

Tornhub responds quickly thru their cumbersome online communication system until they sell you the tour. After that they are slow in responding to your related questions about your upcoming trip. You need to ask the same question twice each time and get response to parts of your multiple questions. It appears that they are too busy to read your questions thoroughly and respond quickly. It is frustrating.

P.S. Representative Prakash helped me out big-time straightening all the problems after an email communication. I am happy now and we will see how the actual tour goes in India.

Generally, our pre-booking communications tend to be faster as in the main, our own experienced travel advisors normally have the answers to most questions but for specific post booking enquiries, we often need to double check with the local tour operators and given the various time zones and availability of the operator personnel this can be a bit slower. However, we are pleased that Prakash at Offbeat India was helpful and smoothed out the communication issues for you.

i strongly dislike the form of…

i strongly dislike the form of communication, it is extremely inconvenient and makes me not want to use tourhub again in the future. I eventually asked the agent to call me rather than using their inconvenient communication hub, which made life easier. When you have to use the chat its inconvenient to get into, time consuming and a different person answers you each time. Not what a customer wants when spending alot of money

Changed deposit after booking

Was not happy about the increased deposit being disclosed after first deposit was paid. Do better.

Getting a request for an extra deposit after you’ve already booked is the last thing you want when you're dreaming of your next trip and we are very sorry for that surprise!
To be totally open, our booking system had a little "glitch" and accidentally charged the G Adventure standard tour deposit instead of the larger Expedition Cruise deposit. It was a genuine system mistake on our part and we really appreciated you being so cooperative in addressing the mistake.
Thanks to your feedback, we’ve already updated our system to differentiate the different deposit types so this won’t happen again.
