About Town & Country Law

Written by the company

Town & Country Law is a specialist estate-planning business helping individuals and families across England & Wales protect their wishes, assets and loved ones.

We provide clear, practical advice that enables clients to make informed decisions about their future and gives them confidence that their affairs have been properly organised.

Our core services include professionally prepared single, mirror, trust and living wills; lasting powers of attorney; trust creation and estate structuring; inheritance and succession planning; probate support; will registration and secure storage; and trustee services. We support clients with needs ranging from a straightforward will to more complex arrangements involving property, vulnerable beneficiaries, blended families or wider inheritance considerations.

Every client is guided through a structured consultation and documentation process. We take time to understand their family circumstances, assets, priorities and concerns, explain the available options in plain English, and tailor our recommendations accordingly.

Clients are kept informed throughout preparation, review and completion, with regulated legal professionals involved where work constitutes a reserved legal activity. This approach combines technical care with the friendly, approachable service that clients value.

What makes Town & Country Law particularly distinctive is the combination of personal advice and the operational strength of AISS, our purpose-built digital platform. AISS connects consultants and in-house teams across the client journey. It brings together digital fact-finding, secure document and identity collection, electronic approvals and signatures, case workflow, drafting coordination, client communications, payments, audit information and integrations with core legal systems.

By reducing fragmented administration and giving teams clearer visibility of each matter, AISS helps us provide a more consistent, responsive and efficient service while preserving human support and accountability.

Our model is built around clarity, accessibility and trust. We combine nationwide reach with personal relationships, offer tailored rather than one-size-fits-all planning, and support our work with £5 million professional indemnity cover, professional-body standards and strong independent client feedback. We continually use technology, structured processes and client feedback to improve how our service is delivered.

Ultimately, our purpose is not simply to produce legal documents. It is to help people understand their choices, protect those who matter most and put robust plans in place for the future.

By bringing specialist estate-planning knowledge, approachable advisers and technology designed around real client and staff needs into one joined-up service, Town & Country Law delivers an experience that is both reassuringly personal and operationally modern.

A lovely young lady explained…

A lovely young lady explained everything to me about the process and invited me to ask any questions if I was unsure of anything. She made me feel at ease in what, to many, would be a stressful time. I highly recommend this firm to anybody. 10/10.

Katrina is a friendly efficient solicitor

Katrina was really helpful in producing my new will. She explained everything carefully and in language I could understand making sure I fully understood what I should do and why. She made the process very easy for me.
Katrina herself is friendly and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend her and her services and will be using her again for a Lasting Power of Attorney in the near future.

Great experience. Pain- free!

Just off a call with Town & Country Law to arrange a new Will.
I was well prepared, having thought, in advance, about what I wanted. Nathan managed the process extremely well and was friendly, yet professional.
He demonstrated an excellent understanding of the Will process, and associated subjects (IHT, Probate, Funeral Plans).
It ended up being an enjoyable conversation about a subject which I doubt many of us want to talk about!
Thank you Nathan

Great service

We had an initial phone consultation with Dan from Town and Country with a view to making new Wills. Not only was this dealt with but also essential Lasting Power of Attorney documents were agreed. Unfortunately there was a delay in us receiving the draft copies due to issues with the UKs postal service. This was compounded as when the drafts finally arrived a spelling error meant we had to wait another week for the amended copy.
Out of the blue we then received a phone call from James, a director of Town and Country who apologised for what he considered a level of service below their best practice standard. He wanted our assurance that they had now completed to our satisfaction and insisted that we contact him directly should we have any further concerns. Can't fault that.
