Townforce London helped us with fixing…
Townforce London helped us with fixing our shared house's kitchen sink leakage on the ground floor. Nice fix, on time, and done a great job. Thanks.
Having property in the London area but…
Having property in the London area but living in the North of England I can rely on Townforce to give me peace of mind should anything go wrong. At the push of a button they are experts who give honest quotes with guaranteed work and quickly solved. Thank you.
very reliable
I am happy to be a customer of Town Force London. Excellent service, very professional. Nice team, very responsive and helpful. Could not praise them more. Have done great job installing a stone floor and kitchen. Always on time and very reliable.
I had used this service for my sink…
I had used this service for my sink leakage fixing. Everything went perfectly. Moreover pricing was economical and service was good.
Have booked an appointment with these…
Have booked an appointment with these guys for a boiler service later this week. I have so far only spoken to them over the phone but have had a good experience so far and have had all expectations set to me. Will keep this updated.
Small Claims Court success
*Update on my earlier review:*
I receved my money back through the Small Claims Court after "Blackheath Plumbers" (one of Townforce's many aliases) charged £150 for a call out when no meaningful work was carried out.
I made a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) which was upheld and the Small Claims Court recently ordered Townforce to repay my £150, plus costs. Pleased to say they eventually did this (but only after many emails and reminders about the court case going against them).
I would urge anyone else who has been swindled by Townforce to go down the same route. Looking at the recent reviews here, they are still up to the same tricks.
Rogue traders like this need to be held to account. Use the ASA and Small Claims Court as I did if you think you have been duped by Townforce.
Beware!! No quotation, huge bill
Townforce will not respond to a complaint - beware!! I booked to have my boiler serviced. I asked him to check the heating. I ended up with a bill for over £1000 with no prior advice on hourly rate nor likely length of time required. the time required was extended because they needed different trades and there was no information transfer between them
This company replaced many misted…
This company replaced many misted double glazed units in our house having given us a competitive quote. They replaced the units efficiently and tidied up after. They were punctual, pleasant and carried out adjustments to windows and doors so that they would operate correctly. Communication was good from start to finish. Thank you.
DO NOT USE SCAM SCAM SCAM
DO NOT USE SCAM SCAM SCAM
If you've been scammed by this company then please COMPLAIN about them:
1) To the ASA regarding their fake website reviews and fake claims of "No callout charges", you can complain to the ASA on their website.
They've already been found to break the rules once, can't post links here but Google Town Force LTD ASA Ruling
2) Complain to the HMRC regarding their practices of not sending invoices when requested, their multiple shell companies, their tax dodging. Just look up their companies and director on companies house, you'll see a few shell companies reporting no income:
TOWN FORCE LTD
Company number 10096932
They report no income!!!
3) Request your phone conversations with them as they claim to record them and then mysteriously lose them, you can submit a GDPR request, if you need help to do that look up the Information Commissioner's Office
4) Lastly create a dispute with them and claim your money back on citizensadvice website
They confirmed over the phone that I will not be charged anything unless work is done. The plumber came, he said he can't do anything about it and left. They then charged me 93 GBP for that privilege. I called back asking for a refund and was refused, they said that I agreed to these charges over the phone. They want to charge me 25 GBP for the phone recording of me agreeing which they haven't yet provided.
They are scum, please do not waste your money.
SCAM COMPANY
SCAM COMPANY! DO NOT USE! This company operate under multiple names pretending to be local experts in plumbing, electrics, building, etc. They will offer a free quote, ask for your card details in advance apparently for credit check purposes. Attend your home unprepared for the job, stay around 2 minutes and leave saying they will get back to you with a quote. Then they immediately charge you with the full amount for a visit. They don’t issue any invoice and if you follow up and chase them they will give you a quote so high no person with the right mind would accept it. And they refuse to give refund.
DO NOT USE
This company should not be in business. They take your money and then refuse a refund. Very rude staff. DO NOT pay them a penny until any works are complete.
Received no service but paid them noney
Beware I suspect there is a problem here
They pre take your money . They gain customers via another company name, In my example I found them via a central london company ‘east central plumbing solutions’
They charged more on your debit card than the amount agreed call out fee without authorisation
They say the plumber will get back to you about the faulty part but he is always on leave or unavailable and they will call you back but never do
I felt totally ripped off
Don't use Town Force Plumbers - con artists
If I could give Town force plumbing a zero, I would. Con merchants - purposely chose Central London plumbers to avoid Congestion charge, which they ultimately charged me for. £15 for parts (they didn't use any). Called three times to complain over 10 days and got same response from Toby/Zoey and Alfie - will ask plumber for report and revert - which, of course they never did. For the sake of £25 this review could be oh so different, but guess that's all their reputation is worth. Have reported them to my credit card company also.
