spend more time on marketing and trying to sell to you than helping you win your trademark

First agent I dealt with was attentive, cordial, and a good communicator. We applied for a Canadian trademark last November and he assured me that by paying the extra for 'priority filing' we were guaranteed that we could have the US trademark application backdated to the date of our Canadian application, if we applied in the US within 6 months. In April he contacted me and assured me again that the US app would be backdated to last November. So we paid the fees and started the US app. Within a couple of weeks he was gone from the company with no explanation, and the agent I was dealing with was telling me that we were NOT guaranteed the earlier date for the US app after all. Somewhat unsettling. This agent was difficult to understand on the phone and over the next couple of weeks, we had some confusion. So we are proceeding with US app, and are not guaranteed the things that the first agent promised us repeatedly. In the last month, the communication has been confusing, though the agent was quick to respond to emails. I'm hoping for more clarity going forward, and that nothing has fallen between the cracks.

Witmart Trademark Search and Application: My contact with Witmart was primarily with Noah in Toronto. I was astonished at how fast he responded - within an hour of my first call. And then over the next few days, if I had questions, he would return my call or text me - sometimes within minutes - always with clear and unambiguous facts, instructions or advice. Excellent service.
