KATEY DAVIS... from start to end she was incredibly helpful

KATEY DAVIS - She's incredible!!

I've not had an opportunity to write a review since my booking (admittedly a year ago) but I found everything seamless. From the point of making flight enquiries (mine was complex travelling from UK to Dar-es-Salaam to Abu Dhabi to Bahrain) and Katey made it all pain free. I was nervous to travel on my own but Katey's calm mannerisms and reassurances was comforting. If I had any other questions after booking the flights, Katey ensured they were responded to right away. I was in safe hands. Katey is an asset to this company and going forward, I intend on using Travel Centre for booking flights. Thanking both Katey and Travel Centre for doing a fab job :) I would recommend this company to anyone - you wont be dissapointed.

Prices you see are not the prices you'll get!

Their website offers reasonable prices, you go through the hard graft of selecting flights, enter all your personal & bank details and pops up a message saying "transaction unsuccessful, contact our customer centre"!! You do that and they give you a price for the same flight which is 25% more than on their website.
Now, you tell me is that shady practice or what?
I think the ASA should know about this.
We wasted over an hour and JOSHUA said "I don't understand how websites work!! Laughable- I do understand and if you advertise something at a price, that's the price it should be available for.

Take advantage of the vulnerable then refuse to reply

We have booked a trip to Iceland in December 2020. In September, we informed the company that we need to change a name on the flights as a family member is no longer able to attend.

TravelCentreUk have said this is impossible 3 months in advance, have been less than empathetic and now refuse to reply to communication.

Shout out to Damon Wolfe for the shocking service, as well applying constant pressure on my vulnerable, 60 year old mother to go ahead with the booking.

EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM TOBY CONNOR

I would like to thank TOBY CONNOR for his outstanding service finding our dream holiday to Thailand for January 2023.

Despite my chopping and changing dates, places & hotels he was patient and polite... nothing seemed too much trouble and eventually found us what we were looking for.

He even went above and beyond to stay back after his shift to secure our booking.

Would definitely recommend to book your holidays here.

Looking forward to our holiday now. Thank you very much Toby x

Travel Centre UK are great!

Travel Centre UK are my first port of call for my travel needs. They deliver everytime. My agent Colin Smith is excellent.
He is very thorough and helpful. I thoroughly recommend him and this company

Ruth

Ruth, has made booking and sorting my perfect holiday so easy in fact she was that good I booked a second holiday with her.
Nothing has been to much trouble even adding extra days and hotels on, she has gone above and beyond I feel to even help me book excursions with many options to choose from, also no pressure or trying to rush which is great as trying to book a holiday around working can be difficult. I’m now doing Dubai, Singapore and the F1 and Phuket in September then the new year in Dubai and on top the Maldives for my wedding anniversary. Ruth has given many options for hotels and flights and has been great at sending links and information. I’m looking forward to adding excursions to my second holiday as takes all the pressure off choosing while on holiday.
Ruth is a fantastic member of the Travel centre nothing is to much trouble and I look forward to booking more breaks with her very soon.

Don’t use Totally Incompetent

I booked our trip to USA as had booked to Bali before and managed to get a refund after the holiday was cancelled due to Covid.
Dealt with James both times.
Appeared to be going well and even wrote a positive review.
Finally paid the last instalment- we were paying £2025 for several months and there were 6 in our party. We were all excited and had 4 week before departing.
Week after last payment received a call from James saying we had missed a payment and requesting it was paid. Advised it was paid and I had proof. He said he would get right back and go and check. He didn’t ring back for 7 days and insisted we had missed a payment. I was very angry and worried that I had been scammed. I emailed all my proof of payment and awaited a reply. This didn’t happen so I rang up. Spoke to 6 representatives nobody wanted to take ownership of this. I was told that James had moved departments. There was no concern regarding this matter which had caused significant anguish to our group.
I was eventually told that they could see all had been paid. I asked if they could give a token of good will due to the 2 very upsetting weeks we had had. Even a voucher for coffee in the airport. Was told they couldn’t provide any compensation. I requested an email to confirm all payment were received and to apologise for this which I was advised I would get one - well it never came. There was a half hearted sorry by the operative, frankly felt they didn’t care less.
To top it off all the arrangements were put in my daughters name in error, which made things different whist dealing with hotels etc
Anyhow I wouldn’t use this company again ever - Totally incompetent- Robot type response from operatives who were very unfeeling. Not what you need when investing £9000 in a trip.
This company asked for a review before these events occurred which affected there Trust Pilot rating

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

IF I COULD 0 STARS I WOULD!

Do not book with this travel agent! Their communication and customer service is poor! They lie about things too! Ornella Smith is the person I dealt with! I have to take them to court now under “The Package Travel, Package Holiday a and Tour Regulations 1992” they changed the hotel without notifying us in the first place! Under their terms and conditions states
(i) Kindly check that the hotel provided and location of the hotel is to your liking
(ii) There must be instances where the product confirmed or offered is no longer available. This may be to technical issues or Availability of any component getting reduced by the supplier. We will inform you of this soon as we are made aware and these cases, we reserve the right the writhdraw the contract with you. We will refund you all the monies paid and no compensation will be offered”
They didn’t inform us of the hotel being changed and changed the hotel without notifying us! We don’t like the new hotel! It was not to our liking. They have cancelled the holiday now, under my say so, but not offered any refund! When it was their fault! They changed the hotel without notifying us!
It says in their terms and conditions that they need to inform us but didn’t inform us before!
We have asked them 3 questions too, no reply was made, no response was made! It was poor communication and still the questions were not answered! The only time they emailed us or phoned us was when they wanted money or something for them! They called us up asking for more money for the flights when they package included the flights and already paid them £1,300! They lied saying they didn’t ask us for more money, when I have the emails to prove this they did ask! They said they have booked the flights when they didn’t! They said they can reserve the seats! Reserving and booking something are two different things and meanings!
They are money grabbers!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE

On the 24th of May 2022, I got a phone call again from the Manager of TravelCentre store in London called Sofia. She again lied to me saying that Ornella Smith, did answer the questions that was put to Ornella. This again is a lie! My mate I trust and I have been mates with her for over 6 Years! If the questions were answered, my mate would have got back to me and told me about the answers!

They are now refusing is refund me £1,300, that I have paid, when it was their fault I cancelled! Their communication was poor, they are money grabbers! They Lie! They change a hotel without notifying us it says on their terms and conditions that, the hotel must be to our liking, which is not! It was down grade to our previous hotel in the first place! Also, says on their terms and conditions that that the the travel agent must inform us before the hotel is changed! Never informed us! NOT ONE EMAIL before changing the hotel!

DO NOT TRUST THEM! I WAS DELEAING WITH THE LONDON OFFICE!

So far, so good!!

So far, so good!! I have read all the reviews on here and I can honestly say I have had excellent service from TravelCentre UK.....I spoke to Drake and he sent my e-ticket the next day. No problem - service good and price really good. Will be going back to these guys without doubt.

Do not book

Do not book! Big scam, they send confirmation e-mail then say that there was a computer system error with airline, and prices are now £100 more, This is the second time this has occured! Very unprofessional!

returning customer - solid service throughout

third time coming back to travel centre as they always find the best prices for family tickets ( to Pakistan ). all staff all very helpful and especially Aiden who dealt with our situation very well. Always recommend these guys to family and friends.

Really, really, really bad. DO NOT USE!!!!

I found this company on the internet under the name of 'CALLCHEAPFLIGHTS' and dealt with Mathew (doubt that's his real name). I initially booked flights 2 weeks before my intended departure date with them and was promised an eticket. After contacting 'Mathew' by both phone and by email, I still handnt received my ticket with a week before travelling. I gave 'Mathew' 24 hours warning that if I didn't get my tickets in that time, I would be cancelling and going elsewhere and guess what, the eticket never arrived, I went elsewhere and found cheaper flights and received a much, much better service.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE UTTERLY USELESS AND UNTRUSTWORTHY.
If I could give it no stars, I would.

Good Service

Booked a flight through Aiden who provide a good service and was polite and he managed to get a flight at a decent price and he never hesitated to call me back. I recommend the Travel Center to my brother who also booked two flights with them. Kultar Chandla.

Devon Parker made really extra effort to help me find a really very suitable flight trip for me.

Booking agent Deven Parker at Travel Centre UK not only have very good communication skills and very welcoming and courteous with the customers but he is also very well trained and equipped with all the required tools to find the best suitable flight for customer and on top of that at an affordable fare. I had a very welcoming and helpful experience with Devon Parker.
