Terrible - do not purchase!!
Terrible! Do not purchase this insurance if you are wanting to be insured in cases where the airline causes a delay/trip interruption that ruins your travel plans! I submitted my claim, and they denied me stating that the only thing they cover under trip interruption is a medical issue that you can prove with documentation.

Great agents on phone
I called 3 x... the reps were great and I left a review (after te calls). Only because they helped me w answers I was able to do this online.. The agents I spoke with were Emily and Kelsey. Emily in particular spent a lot of t8me on phone w me and I learned a lot!!!

Travelex is not good insurance
We traveled to Australia in spring 2026. When we landed in Australia we were informed that a category 5 cyclone coming on shore in our immediate vicinity. Weather made it impossible to drive or stay at our destination, which was the Great Barrier Reef. Needless to say our plans changed and we flew to Sydney. Despite specifically including loss due to hurricane, Travelex refused to pay our claim for reimbursement of costs incurred for airfare change fees and car rental. My relatives who used another company were reimbursed 100% for their expenses. Need I say more?
