TravelGenio MISLEADINGLY tells you their Open-date Ticket feature guarantees that you will have total flexiblity to change your flight or any segments of it anyhow without rate restrictions or adm fees, as it follows:

This, and ONLY this, is what is shown during your purchase process regarding the open ticket extra service. When I called them today, one month before my return flight, they revealed the HIDDEN information that I was only able to change my dates 48h before my first flight, which happened two months ago. Now I am supposed to pay a 235€ penalty + 30€ service fee if I want to change my flight, which costed me less than what they want me to pay in order to change it.

And it's more. They told me in case I want to be refunded, the value of my refund in MINUS US$30. Yes, after all fines and deductions I would have a NEGATIVE refund, it means if I want to be refunded I automatically get into debt with them.

Not recommended as an online travel agency. I honestly feel very disappointed and completely deceived by TravelGenio.

Price didn't include all the taxes and fees, as explicitly stated during the purchase. Discovered at the airport counter during the check-in, and had to pay a considerable amount to board.
I do not recomment them, since you cannot know in advance the full price of your ticket.

The final price was way higher that initially advertised on skyscanner, mainly due to credit card taxes.

Todo o processo para efectuar a reserva foi feito sem problemas ou quais quer dificuldades. O único problema foi encontrado no local de partida, que neste caso foi Hyderabad (India), em que o check-in online não nos estava a deixar fazer a confirmação. Quando nos dirigimos ao aeroporto e aos balcões, o facto de o nosso único meio de confirmação ser o email enviado pela Travelgenio que estava em português, provocou alguma dificuldades de comunicação. De resto nada a relatar.

All the process to make the reservation was very smooth with no problems. the only issue encountered was in the place of departure, which in this case was Hyderabad (India), were the check-in online was not working for us. When we went to the airport and to the check-in desks, since the only flight confirmation we had was the Travelgenio email that was in Portuguese, there was somo communication difficulties. Nothing else to report.

We booked a trip with Travelgenio and it was very easy, with nothing to say.
The only question was when we tried to call them, because we were on the verge of not arriving to the flight on time due to bad weather conditions, and we couldn't contact the customer service line.
If we had lost the flight, don't know what would have happened.

I got the best prices for the flight, and there was no problem with the booking or the UI experience.

I have read some not good reviews about your agency who experienced some difficulties/troubles upon booking a ticket in your agency or website but based upon my experienced i haven't experienced such a thing,indeed i was satisfied and happy.

Good service, sometimes slow and standardised messages through customer service. But nothing bad really

Easy access and usage

I had to change my travel date because the confirmed flight was cancelled, Travelgenio sent me a new confirmation for another date but didn't confirm it with the airline. The airline had no record of my flight and I had to pay a lot of money at the airport before I could fly. Travelgenio is fraudulent and I have complained to the regulatory bodies. Do not complicate your trip by booking through travelgenio.

It was a simple process. Bought the ticket online with credit card and got the email with all my reservation details. Recommend it !!

everything was ok. Different from others like the bad Gotogate!!

The worst travel company I have ever dealt with. They confirmed my ticket took the money from my credit card and then 6 hours later sent me an email stating that they were putting up the price of the ticket. How are they allowed to do this? Don't buy from this website as they are a rip off and pretty much told me they could do what they want as they were in Madrid and I was in New Zealand. Scammers be very weary

All the booking system run smooth. The only issue was about the meals that I had order (vegetarian) and were not reserved.

company closed the package with me in the amount of 3523.75 BRL and bill my card came 3821.12 BRL 243.79 BRL + IOF . I thought A NONSENSE OF THE PRICE DIFFERENCE

After my initial disappointment at trying to contact Travelgenio, once I did manage to contact them, they emailed me immediately and offered me a revised itinerary. Within 24 hours they had issued me a new ticket which has been confirmed by the airline. I appreciate the swift response and action to rectify my problem
