Delayed on the way out and delayed on…

Delayed on the way out and delayed on the way home. Their baggage policy is a joke, with only a handbag for free. You’d think a 10kg small suitcase would be included, but they seem to think you can survive a holiday with a handbag 🤣 extremely high changes for baggage, I’d take Ryan air over these guys, and that’s saying something. Never again 🤣

Very disappointing experience.

My suitcase arrived 2 weeks after I did.
Our plane left 3 hours late. Was diverted to Luton because of snow in Manchester no issue with that. But the lack of information about the trip from Luton to Manchester was astonishing. The ground crew were completely unprepared abandoned disorganised. Chaotic isn't unfair.
We eventually got to Manchester over 12 hours late. No formal apology or compensation for lost suitcase or the delays. Not even offered a refreshment voucher.

Disgusting money making scheme

Had the rudest ground staff agent at London Gatwick calked Aida who charged for cabin baggage without measuring them. She would not even allow me to find my booking so i could show her. She was rude and had no customer service experience and threatened to take us off the flight because i asked her to stop talking so i vould concentrate on looking for my booking. Our baggage was measured at home snd in line with the policy yet Easy Jet clearly need to make money each and every possible way they can. They won't refund £96 that they wrongly charged us and cannot provide proof of measuring our bags either. Will not recommend them and definitely shall not be flying with them again. We travelled back with the same baggage but it was OK then so the policy does not make sense. We were definitely wrongly charged!

All in all - Great for the price

We’ve flown EasyJet about 7 times in the last 6 months, and everything has been smooth - ish.

One flight it was cancelled during boarding - that was hectic, not going to lie. However EJ gave us compensation for our new flight and accomodation. We didn’t receive a refund for the original flight & missed accom - we claimed this through our travel insurance.

One flight, one luggage was broken, EJ paid for the fee of a new wheel.

Both of these required following up as most do!

But all in all, our flights ran on time, staff were friendly, and the addition of the great new Airbus planes, made it worth it. We included our bags in all flights so no issues there. All the flights were great value for money over other airlines. We would choose to fly with them for the future!

Easy jet holidays

I have just returned from an Easy jet holiday. No complaints with flights, time’s great, special assistance smooth running. I must commend the pilot on the landing back into Liverpool today from Alicante. Never have I ever had such a smooth landing. All round I’m happy with easyJet.

Easyjet is the worst airline in the UK!!

Never travel with easyjet, I repeat never travel with them!!!! Easy jet left us stranded in Amsterdam after cancelling our flight and giving us a fake hotel voucher, only to reach the hotel and be told that easy jet did not pay for the room, had to pay out of pocket for hotel food and transfer which they have now refused to refund part of it.

The customer service team are all daft and you just go round in circles dealing with them. Please save yourself the stress and never fly with them, I and my family never will again.

Appalling incompetent customer service

A nightmare experience. EasyJet cancelled our flight from Naples to Gatwick at the last moment and instead of booking us on another direct flight home, bsent us to Barcelona the following afternoon. From there we were put on a flight to Gatwick. The flight was delayed and we arrived late the following evening, too late to get home by public transport but no help from EasyJet

They wrongly charged us for our hold luggage on the 2 flights even though we had already paid for luggage on the original flight from Naples to London.
Since then I have been trying to claim expenses and recoup the money wrongly charged for baggage. There the fun really started. My travelling companion and I happen to have the same forename so having filled in their wretched form and with great difficulty uploaded receipts I was informed that these expenses had already been paid and mine were a duplicate. Eventually they conceded that i am not the same person and although my friend had received some expenses back I had not. After having to resubmit the form and receipts 3 more times I was assured a travel voucher and a payment into my account would be forthcoming this was the 4th person I had dealt with. Unfortunately the 5th and later advisors in their wisdom decided that no travel voucher was happening and that instead money had been deposited into the account of the person who made the booking. Obviously the confusion of 2 people who happen to share the same name is too much for these people so my companion received her expenses and mine as well as mine.
I would advise anyone thinking of flying with EasyJet to think again.

Arrogant flight attendant Easy Jet

My daughter was put in the next aisle on the plane to her daughter that had only just turned 4.
When she spoke to the male flight attendant he was arrogant and rude.
He did nothing at all to help them sit in the same aisle even though it is a night flight and my granddaughter panics in the dark. Is it even safe to sit children next to strangers especially when lights are dimmed in this day and age. No wonder people get frustrated on flights when they have to put up with arrogant flight attendants.
Some attendants need to learn how to speak to customers and not speak down to them. I am gutted that I have had to give 1 star as this one particular flight attendant doesn’t deserve any stars.

Damaged Baggage:

Damaged Baggage:

I recently travelled with EasyJet where my baggage was damaged by their airline.

I filled out the online form, also sent all the evidence via attachments to the EasyJet damaged baggage team. Upon filling out the form on EasyJet online damaged baggage department. I had a conformation with a reference number.

After submitting evidence and photos of the damage suitcase. I received a response from EasyJet damaged baggage team informing me that the damage to my suitcase which was caused by easyJet airline is unrepairable.

There’s nowhere, mansion in their service users documented information, that it’s only when the damage to the service users/ passenger’s suitcase is damaged to the extend, when it is no longer functional and is not able to safely transport the contents, and only then would you consider providing a repair/replacement service.

Reply from EasyJet Customer Reply:

Upon review of your claim. We have checked the photos of your suitcase and I’m sorry to tell you that under the airline guidelines. unfortunately, as the suitcase is fully functional and able to transport contents. Apologies for any confusion but we would be unable to provide a repair/replacement, inline with their policy and guideline.

Please note as on our website it does state We can’t be responsible for damage that’s:

Superficial or external such as scuffs and/or scratches. I am sorry you are unhappy with the outcome of your claim.

In conclusion:
As a frequent traveller, in view of the outcome of this issue, with EasyJet which was my first encounter with them. Unfortunately, in the future we will no longer be using easyJet airline.

Absolute shambles at Tenerife airport

Absolute shambles at Tenerife airport.
One girl on the luggage drop off for literally hundreds of people.
People were actually getting shouted forward for certain flights as they were taking that long the people were going to miss their flights.
Stood in a queue for over an hour just to put in luggage. If you can’t get the staff get the self check luggage. EasyJet don’t care about their customers or their staff.

Worst experience of my life fully rip…

Suffer so badly with anixities first time flying on my own, altho some staff at gatwick was helpful it was the Worst experience of my life fully rip you off rather than help assist people with correct Information I was charged 40 pounds on departing with a tiny walk on luggage case, was told this was for return aswell. I witnessed customer flying with cases bigger than mine and veing aloud to go through which made me qwite annoyed to the point i actually said something to staff members. On return i got myself so worked up finding out the price didnt include return flight i paid another 27.99 to have my small case fit under the seat. I had a full panic attack in the airport train staion after buying another wrong ticket a gentleman said there was nothing that could be done this is where only the lady in the train station helpt me. Which i was truley greatful for, because at this point i couldnt even move my legs. The lady actually deserves a pay rise she went above and beyond to help and assist me. The staff on the return flight was also very helpful but from the whole experience i will never ever fly with easy jet again should be called sleazy jet. So upset.

EasyJet is now more expensive than BA

Never used to mind EasyJet. That’s changed in the last year. The reality is that by the time you add basics amenities like a seat and an actual sized bag you can fit something in, the prices are the same as British Airways. In fact a cabin bag (not just under seat) costs more than a 15kg hold bag.

Except on British Airways or another similar airline.

The planes are cheaply configured, the PA is so loud on the plane, the staff are very literal and tend to be ill-forgiving.

The marketing onboard is tacky, and extremely pushing. There is nothing about it that is human like. It’s just become annoying.

At Munich airport there was no one at the bag drop desks and huge lines of people waiting. 0/10 for effort.

Honestly not worth the price anymore, this airline has lost its identity. Easy is not expensive, and expensive should not be so cheap and ill-forgiving.

Package holiday with easyJet at Sunny…

Package holiday with easyJet at Sunny Hills Apartments Paphos Cyprus September 2024.
Flight delay sat on air craft on apron nearly an hour. Told because of air traffic issues, same happened in June and again later in September.
Sunny Hills Apartments room 209 extremely filthy grime on all surfaces mostly doors and electric switches and sockets. Exposed wiring on ceiling light, paint splashes on patio door leading to car park view.
Upper floor room over staff rest area where staff talked and smoked starting circa 0630 hours most mornings.
Room was not cleaned and towels not changed.
No plugs in bathroom basin and bath, none in the kitchen sink. Reception said there are none.
WiFi only in reception area.
Asked for a move first morning because of no hot water. Instead duty manager took us back to original room and ran all taps untill hot water came out. This procedure every time wanted hot water.
No Easy jet rep.
Checked out three days early and rented another room.
Only offered change of room when checking out and taxi waiting to take me away.
Sunny Hills Apartments are Three star however, room 209 is barely habitable and a risk to health.
Shocked easyJet have this venue in their portfolio, clearly profits come before customers in this case.
The only positive is staff at Sunny Hills Apartments are courteous.

Lost our luggage

Lost our luggage. On a 5 day trip, we waited nearly three days for our luggage. We had to pay to go back to the airport to get the luggage - they’ve said you aren’t entitled to any compensation for this. Apparently they assume for the first 24 hours, you’ve got adequate items on you. When I pack items for the hold, I don’t pack my cabin bag with items for my holiday so we didn’t have anything on us. They’ve offered us £50 which apparently should cover essential items for both of us for nearly three days. Customer service is appalling - they just repeat the same line - you agreed to terms and conditions. It’s worth spending a bit more time on an airline who cares about thru customers. They ruined our trip and think £50 is adequate compensation.
