I decided to book a Tui package holiday…
I decided to book a Tui package holiday , paid the £50 deposit , then found a better hotel , same dates and easyJet flights and because there was only one room left….and thinking I could recover the deposit within24 hours.. booked that too. However because they used EasyJet they had to charge £49 to cancel it . Is this fair ? Apparently there is info about this which I failed to read .

I booked a flight. The cost of the ticket was £51 + extras.
The same night I received the news that my father passed away.
Called the next morning to cancel. I was reassured I can cancel the flight within 24h of booking. Great!, I thought.
However, they informed me it will cost me £49 cancellation fee.
Absolutely disgusting! Rip-off comapny. If you won't scammed at car rental place, you'll get done somewhere else in this bussiness.
They don't care about you or anyone else, all they want is your money!

Flight delayed from 6pm to 9.50, no explanation, no help with issues picking up a connecting flight, nothing but silence and faces of staff that could not care less. Ended up paying 250 pounds to stay in a hotel and get various cabs. Never again will I use easy jet, they sell themselves as a cheaper alternative, beware, as long as you don’t mind being very late, get apathy from their staff and being told that your luggage does not fit their requirements then you will be fine to use them!

This is the worst airline I've ever…
This is the worst airline I've ever flown. On my way out from Gatwick to Glasgow, the flight was delayed for 3 1/2 hours, and on the return flight two days later, my flight was delayed again for another two hours with notifications less than 30 minutes before the newly estimated departure time. The flight cost the same amount as a BA flight to Berlin. So, they are not cheap. We were given food vouchers of 6 pounds on the first flight but we could not even use them to purchase food on the plane as they were restricted to a few retailers in the airport. Instead, the airline was more interested in peddling jewelry and perfume for sale. This is the most lousy airline service I've ever experienced. Save your money. You are better off paying a little extra for a first-tier airline. Easy Jet will frustrate you and screw up your itinerary because they are useless and unpredictable. The Aurline Federation needs to sanction this outfit for gross incompetence

Another delay!!!!! 3 hours, at least this time. At Verona airport, should have taken off, plane hasn’t even left Gatwick yet! Abysmal service. Let us know earlier, we could have remained at hotel.

Easy jet is a bad flight, do not use , I repeat do not use. They will extort money from you at every given point. They are very greedy . This is my first time using easyJet and it was an awful experience. DO NOT USE EASY JET.
Worst experience with easy jet staff
I would have given zero if there was an option. While comong backnfrom Turkey Antalya this company forced us to pay extra money on cabin luggage which is of the same dimension they recommend but somehow they manage to con money. The staff at the check in counter was very rude and to add insult to injury when we tried to discuss with them why they are charging us extra, the staff said we were rude on them, they went as far as to tear our boarding pass and chuck it in the bin and also threatened us to call the police. Not going to use easy jet ever.

4 flights with them all late and delayed. I strongly DON’T recommend.
Failed to fully refund for flight THEY cancelled
When we were at the gate waiting for an evening flight from Milan back to Gatwick, Easyjet cancelled the flight just 20 minutes before we were due to go. No other flights that evening so they put us in an hotel 40 miles away (!), and booked us on an early morning flight next day. It took 1 1/2 hours to get there by public transport, but there was no way to get back to the airport by public transport early enough next morning, so we had to pay over 100 Euro for a taxi. Now we find that while they have refunded the hotel charge, they won't pay for the taxi.
Last attempt now being made to sort this, otherwise they are BANNED FOR LIFE BY WHOLE FAMILY.
Looking at flights for next year
Looking at flights for next year, as going on a cruise from Southhampton, so looked getting flights from Glasgow via Easyjet. Put in dates and clicked through all the fields thinking great could get a one way flight (as return date not showing yet) for £35 less a £3.00 discount great, oh but wait a minute why does my basket say £64 well that's because it didn't include the total airfare & government taxes. Be aware it's not as good as it seems.
Scam company with zero responsibility
I wish I could give zero, in a what so called the developed world and such scam companies thrive. They cancelled our flight to Naples from Gatwick on 26/07/2024 evening and gave no explanation at all!!! They just asked us either to rebook another flight which is after 2 days or get a refund. We had our son Birthday party arranged and had to cancel and look for another airways to save us. We had to pay double the price plus also losing the hotel booking fees as it was few hours ahead and also had to cancel the car booking and rebook another car with double the price. All the way losses because such a shameless company owned by greedy people don’t care about the public and the consequences of their filthy administration. Hope they get broke soon and we don’t hear of them anymore.

This is the worse company I have EVER had to deal with.
They cancelled our flights two minutes after giving us our boarding pass with no explanation and no way of getting through to them to speak to someone. When talking to the staff they were like robots and giving as little information as they could.
We then received an email asking us to wait for an email with instructions on our hotel. Then one hour later asked us to find our own hotel and they would reimburse us and that they were looking for new flights. So my husband booked us a hotel and 20 mins later whilst waiting for a taxi to take us to the hotel, another email came through stating they have had to cancel our package holiday again with no information as to why.
Luckily husband managed to cancel the hotel and taxi with no costs bit we lost our parking fee of over £100. Then made our way back home which is 3 hours from Gatwick. Tried to call Easyjet 4 times but each advisor hung up and the easyjet bot kept sending me to pages that couldn't help. We managed to book another holiday for the Sunday with Jet 2 (amazing company and staff very attentive) and easyjet refunded our money 4 days later but not the deposit....still waiting for that. We filled out a compensation form and that was denied due to adverse weather, and staff working too many hours...which was not what we were told on the day and also strange as so many other flights going out.i have sent 3 complaint emails to the only email I can find and the response was an apology and a link to click on to....when clicking on the link it says...this link no longer works but why not book a holiday with us! A complete joke of a company and can see them going bust as the amount of holiday makers we spoke to have vowed they would never use again due to these issues. We have only used them once before and had the same thing happen but decided to try again as everyone deserves a 2nd chance but now they have certainly burnt their brdges!!!
Impossible to resolve complaints
Holiday was great
But I payed £82 for 2 people for private transfer on my return transfer we had a minibus waiting we got on the bus at our hotel and another family got on then we left and went to another hotel and picked up a large group got on this is not private transfer
When I got home if found it almost impossible to contact easyJet
The only way to resolve my problem was a general inquirie which would take 14 days to reply after 21 days was told to contact another department and it will take 28days

Good holiday but don't have a problem

I have used EasyJet multiple times; I have had packages holidays and flight only and have all been relatively trouble free bar a few delays or flight time changes. I've never bothered much as I worked in the industry for 5 years and as long as these are communicated with notice, there is little inconvenience.
Today however, I have only encountered incompetence after incompetence.
Last night I tried to log into my booking to make further payment but I was met with an error and that my booking details could not be found. I logged into the app to check My Trips to find my outbound flight changed to 2 days later and absolutely no information for hotel, transfers etc.
I tried to seek help via the website live chat and also Facebook messenger. Both advised to call a pre-travel number; I called this and found it to be for baggage claims? What?
After trawling the internet I found a sales number which had a pre travel option. The agent told me there was nothing wrong with my booking. I was put on hold almost immediately to check with a manager. He came back and maintained it was fine.
I repeated the situation multiple times detailing both the website and app issues and that I had searched the flight locator and flight reference to find it had been disrupted. I was put on hold to seek manager assistance for a 2nd time to be told they could see the error on the manage account system, but there was no issue. I highlighted again that I had already checked with the airline and found the flight was disrupted and plead with him to check this. I was therefore put on hold for a 3rd time to check with a manager.
This time I was told that it was my fault and another agent had spoken to me directly yesterday whereby I requested this change be made. Either this is a blatant lie or gross misconduct as there was no proof of this.
I asked for cancellation and easyJet credit so I could change my booking as I was not happy to pay for a 10 day trip and only get 8 days. I was told no changes can be made by me or by the customer service team and I had to wait investigation by a manager. I had said I didn't need it investigated and if It had been changed I'd like to be able to change it and know what I am doing. Apparently this is not possible because the mistake another agent made.
I asked when I could speak with the manager. I was told asap. I asked for exact timeframes considering this manager had been spoken with 3 times In 20 mins so far on this call but I was given none. Eventually I was told they could ASK me to be contacted within 48 hours. Not good enough but I said ok and asked for reference of this so I could chase. Apparently easyJet don't give out case references. Does not sound correct but ok.
I had to coach this agent through every step of this call and I am in limbo. I cannot manage, pay, cancel, anything to my booking; customer service team cannot help me with managing my booking; an agent has lied and said I requested the change; I have had no follow up; if I did not have knowledge in the industry I'd have been under the impression my booking was "fine".
I need this resolved.
A very positive Easyjet experience.
Our Easyjet flight from Barcelona to Gatwick on 28 June was cancelled because of a blocked runway at Gatwick. We were notified by text and email very promptly and were able to go onto the Easyjet website where we were able to re-book flights with another carrier 24 hrs later. At the same time, we were offered hotel accommodation. In sum, a very positive experience and my thanks to Easyjet for resolving a situation that wasn’t of it’s making.
My flight along with several others…
My flight along with several others were cancelled on 21.06 at Gatwickin early eveninf . It was chaos with only a few service staff available and took ages just to reach exit zone. Rebooking options on their slow app were limited to 11 hr change overs arriving 2 days later. As I live in country where football tournament is on there was only flights next day available for over 500 euros and easyjet would say we'll we offered you an option, a very poor one. I rebooted a flight from Birmingham with hotel plus train extra cost, I assume their t&c will immune them from reimbursing. Please note I pay extra for easyjet plus, don't bother as doesn't help in these circumstances.
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

EasyJet has lost my son's baggage. He returned from holiday on 3rd June and his baggage wasn't there. He has started a lost baggage claim however:
- EasyJet have shut down their lost baggage phone lines so nobody can speak to them
- EasyJet do not respond to their online contact page or email
- EasyJet's Chat team can't help
- Global Baggage Solutions do not respond to emails, phone or CHAT
My son received an email from 1st Flight on 13th June saying that his baggage would be delivered to our home on 14th June by DHL but gave no consignment number.

DHL cannot help because we don't have a consignment number. EasyJet claim that DHL tried to deliver the baggage on 14th June but nobody answered, however:
- my son hasn't had an email from DHL saying they will be delivering the parcel
- DHL have not sent their usual email saying delivery has failed with options to re-deliver
- There is no calling card left from DHL
If all this isn't bad enough, EasyJet have now closed down my son's claim, without notifying him, so he now can't update it on the portal. I finally managed to speak to a customer service representative, who can't help with lost baggage, but did manage to see the claim on their side and confirm it is closed. I asked him to re-open it and he said that closed claims cannot be re-opened.
I do not believe that they have found the baggage - it has either been lost by them or stolen. I do not believe that the baggage was ever handed over to DHL for delivery. I believe the claim has been closed to remove access to the audit trail. This means that not only can my son not claim compensation from EasyJet, but he also can't yet start a claim with our insurance company because there is no information from EasyJet.
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! THEY ARE FAR FROM EASY!!!!
