Nice friendly team, in particular the Mother & Daighter team who often work the day shift. Rooms are reasonably clean, Indian restaurant next door and petroleum station with a Asda express within a 5 minute walk on the A road. Free Tea & Coffee which you can restock yourself from reception. Only complaint is you should not have to pay for Wi-Fi. Not an issue as have a good data packet by my Mobile provider but that’s beyond the point/basic-principle.
Rates start from around £30 a night, average around £50, however for only slightly more you can stop at the “Stourport Manor” in Stourport, 20 minutes walk to town, nice grounds to walk in, pub with food within a 5 minutes walk and a pool/sauna & gym on site so Travelodge should be really not charging much more than £25-£30 a night when there is alternatives (good ones) in Stourport town and nearby Kidderminster. (Premier Inn)

£41 to change from a superior room to a standard room
We were booked into travellodge Manchester for tonight as going to watch strictly at the arena, daughter booked us a superior room on 6th floor, it was a really spacious room and lots of extras , however my wife couldn’t make the stairs she doesn’t do lifts , we asked if they would kindly move us , which they did to a standard room extremely standard, which was ok until they asked for £41 to change us which was 80% of the price of the superior room, shame on you travellodge , won’t be staying again , outrageous.

Closet to being deaf when you can hear
I have stayed at travlelodge lowton warrington for approximatly 3 weeks it would not normally be a place on radar however it did. I found the staff to be friendly but only if I wanted to talk, room was clean as where bedding they happy to extra clean even if I caused mess by dropping biscuit i love biscuits. There was unlimited access to coffee milk sugar tea without having to ask at reception but the one thing that over rode everything it was the closest I believe i come to being deaf as even when hotel full once in room I was in deaf in a bubble not a sound outside door from other rooms I had to open window to hear the world but once closed deaf again exactly what a hotel should be a protective bubble to sleep and relax did I mention I also had two dogs in my booking yet staff did not cochie coo over them or have any issues they where as welcome as myself thinking about it did dogs also think I must have gone deaf not the most luxurious stay but luxury where mattered bedding silence cleanliness not the hilton but not far from as now stayed both but it was million miles from the most basic hotel room and if the whole chain meets lowton branch you may look for news see if world ended as once inside room does not even show on decibel meter and I tried as part work kit
Resident Beggars are staying at this hotel
The Travelodge in Swansea houses "people" in conjunction with Swansea Council.
We were accosted by beggars who were staying there, walking around the dining area waving their room key. Asking for £5.
There was a strong smell of cannabis in the room coming up through the ducting.
The"people were all gathered outside smoking in their PJ's.
There was a great amount of noise from the people outside.
Absolutely shocking as we have used them on a regular basis. AVOID AVOID AVOID,

Booked a family room for a one night stay 3.1.26. As we were leaving next morning we found a small plastic packet with white powder residue still inside, under the bed, my grandaughter is only 2 so its a good job her mother found it first. Obviously complained on the spot and raised issue via complaints process
Why would anyone use this company
Why would anyone use this company, you cant speak to customer services, the chat facility has had no advisors all day and the one I did speak to on Friday said someone would call me back by 17.00 but as you would expect nothing
PLEASE BE WEAREY OF GARETH AT CAERPHILLY
I had travelled down from west yorkshire to see my elderly brother, only to discover he had a house fire and had suffered a nervous breakdown. Consequently, he had been admitted to hospital. I arrived at Travellodge Caerphilly on 29/12/25 at 1.30am, I needed to stay until later that morning. I left at 11.45 am the same day 29/12/25 . Gareth had informed me the price was of £48.99. He insited on performing the transaction on a phone. He gave the impression of being very helpful. However as I was very tired I was not paying much attention. Several days later (5/1/260 whilst checking my bank statement, i discovered extra a CHARGE OF £57.00 from Travellodge. This was done without my knoweledge or consent. I now have my Bank involved for this fraudulent activity.

Just stayed at travel lodge Albert dock london. Clean and fair priced good. Service provided by Jamie was excellent so friendly and helpful. My wife and i went yo Excel auditorium easy to reach either walking or dlr. we had nice evening meal and breakfast. Comfy bed as January we got an early bird great rate too but would have paid full rate.
Worse breccy ever
The hotel itself is ok at best but what really turns this into 1 star is the £9.99 breakfast, I am a man that eats anything and never sent food back or complained but the breakfast is awful the sausages don’t taste like pork, the bacon is still alive it’s that uncooked the scrambled egg has literally no taste(no joke) the beans were cold, the hash browns had not even seen heat let alone cooked and the mushrooms were full of like stale water. If you stay at travel lodge do not go for the breccy
THEFT
Trustpilot Review – Travelodge
Title – THEFT !
I booked into the Travelodge Balham at the end of October 2025. I needed hotel
accommodation following the sale of the property in which I had been living for some years.
Had I known what was coming, I would have definitely selected an alternative hotel. On
Sunday 30 th November 2025 I had to change rooms as the one in which I was staying had
been previously booked for another guest. I was unable to immediately move into this other
room due to a cleaning requirement.
I had significant amounts of luggage - the Assistant Manager, Armando, said that I could
store my belongings in the office area, provided I gave him a good review on Trustpilot.
Not all my belongings could be stored in the office area – therefore some were stored in the
room into which I would be staying once the cleaning was complete.
When I entered my alternative room later that day, I tidied up my belongings and luggage in
the room, and while doing this, I noticed that two items were missing. One of these items
was a new pair of Bose headphones which I had purchased a couple of days previously. The
second item was a quantity of treatments which I had to use having recently undergone a
hair transplant operation.
The value of these two items was £686.47 - £299 for the headphones and £387.47 for the
medication.
I approached Armando about the missing items the next day - instead of assisting he
became loud and argumentative, stating that none of this was his fault. His Manager,
Philomena then joined in the conversation and basically sided with Armando, making it clear
that none of this was their responsibility. Philomena was obviously more than happy for
Armando to shout at me in an intimidating way. No help was offered at all.
I reported the theft to the Metropolitan Police. I have also written a letter of complaint to the
relevant Travelodge department. That letter was sent Recorded Delivery on 9 th December
2025. Thus far, neither an acknowledgement - or any form of response – has been
forthcoming. I can only assume that in instances such as this, the Travelodge policy is deny
everything and blame the guest. Shame on them – and shame on Travelodge Balham.
Travel lodge Enfield AVOID! DISGRACEFUL
Travel lodge Enfield is one of the worst hotels I have ever booked. The Enfield hotel is a disgrace, smelly rooms, sinks clogged, and staff encouraged to give anyone that walks in the ground floor rooms which are disgusting! There has been an issue with homeless persons staying here for weeks and weeks!
Booked into travel lodge Slough
Booked into travel lodge Slough, but thru their booking site it pulled the date back to that days date (not Noticed) paid and when printed out see it was for that day. Impossible to change either on line, or over the phone so lost the money. So have instructed staff they will not be refunded if they use travel-lodges in future. As we will not support such a bad business.

Won't be staying in a Travellodge again anytime soon.
Our recent visit to Travellodge Kings Cross Royal Scott was extremely disappointing.
On arrival in our room we looked for the extra pillows as both my Husband and myself sleep with two pillows. There was only one stored in the wardrobe.
This should not have been a problem, we asked at reception for another one.
We found the attitude of the young man on reception to be very rude.
He said that there were no spare pillows, could we not manage without? He then said if it was really needed he would personally have to go out to buy one.
I don't need to be made to feel guilty for asking for what should have been supplied as standard when staying in paid accommodation!
(The pillow had been delivered to our room when we returned)
I then asked this young man for directions to 'Hatton Garden'. He then rudely corrected me 'You mean Covent Garden?'
As we were going to a jewellers I knew where we wanted to go.
I found his attitude very arrogant and rude. Indeed I would question his choice of career.
The room was basic, chipped enamel in the bath and the beds were hard and not at all comfortable.
Breakfast was lacklustre and there was only apple and orange juice mixed together or apple juice. Orange juice on it's own would have been nice as I am allergic to apple juice.
No, we definitely won't be staying in a Travellodge again. I thought they were supposed to have upped their game.
Kingston Central Travel Lodge is…
Kingston Central Travel Lodge is disgusting. Lifts broken and reception is on 5th floor, no notification before stay. Staircases stink of urine. Dry old vomit up side of bed and carpet. Breakfast was basic and out of stock. Cups, cutlery etc dirty. Do not stay here, even for one night.
