Just converted nz dollars to aud and got 0.75 whereas cash was 0.85 minus a 10 dollar fee for conversion.used card in atm because problems with app,only 257 dollars on card but can only withdraw 100 dollars then next day cop a 3 dollar fee so have to keep going atm to take out gradually as i just want to cancel the card.just a rip off from start to finish

Absolutely Worst / time wasting experience
Absolutely terrible experience. To open card I had to put $20 on card When i UNSUCCESSFULLY tried to place more money on card They CONVERTED the $20 to euros they wanted to charge me $10 to revert to $AU. As I hadn’t used their services to place $20 in the first place This to my mind was morally wrong. I’m cancelling card Grr😠. I wasted almost three hours trying to get any satisfaction

Daylight robbery!!
Absolutely disgusted with this whole experience, quick to take your money, currency rates are really low compared to other travel cards, no currency increase passed on, no idea of the currency rates when spoken to in person, changed my mind and wanted to transfer my funds back from euro to Australia within a week and the company after telling me they would tried to take just over two and a half thousand dollars.......so if your being told there's no hidden costs or fees please don't believe them, I am onto the bank and ombudsman, its daylight robbery, misinformed by every person I spoke to!!!! Use Wise!!!

Disappointed, needed good USD notes after 2009 to be accepted in Africa, told by Mandurah branch this cannot be guaranteed unless I receive a lower rate for personal service. Virtually a scam and should be illegal

In regard to rates, there is a difference between online and in-store pricing, with walk-in rates often differing from web-exclusive offers. Our online store has less overhead, so prices can sometimes be better than in-store.

Ordered online for pick up fom the Eastland store. When going to pick up the lady with blonde bob style hair was extremely rude and advised that my orders created her more paperwork and time. Have been getting money exchanged from that store for years and was very unnecessary for her rudeness.

Overall Just Bad
Stupidly difficult to load currency onto cards, as I was prompted errors nearly every time I tried to load any more than $500 at a time.
Bumbling customer service as I was trying to get information about a duplicate payment, when it would bounce back into my account etc, but they were completely useless.
Overall just a bad experience, will be cashing my remaining funds out and moving to a different travel card, recommending that you avoid them.

Too much trouble to help
Came to pick up order and asked for smaller currency notes, as was given 50 x 6 and 10 x5, i asked for smaller notes due to to grand children coming on holiday with us and wanted them to get used to the money. I asked Maria for smaller notes but was met with " cant do that, you get what your given on a pre determined ratio for on line orders", when I asked have you got anything at all you could swap, she again said " no its a first come first served basis"
Very disapointed at lack of customer service towards customer as everything I asked seem to be met with negatives and that is too much trouble.
I will not be returning to this service again , perhaps some additional training for staff is required at the Joondalup branch.

As stated during the online order process, we can't guarantee any specific denominations for orders placed online, as the orders are packed as a mix of available denominations at the time of the order being received. If you need to break larger notes, one way is to use them at popular tourist spots, restaurants, or well-known attractions — they’re usually happy to accept them and can provide change.
