Our stay was not good.
We booked the accommodation for 9 guests.
There were not enough beds for all of the guests.
Online one of the rooms is advertised as having 2 X double beds (with a picture showing this) but in reality there is only one double bed and a small pull out sofa bed.
There was not enough bedding for 9 guests. There was not enough towels for 9 guests.
The heating was turned off at the radiators (in winter?!) with no instructions on how to turn them on. This coupled with the fact that both sofa beds had NO bedding made for a very cold nights sleep.
One of the bed’s mattress protectors was blood stained (you could see this through the sheets, we didn’t look specifically under the sheets). This is a health and safety violation.
The skirting boards behind and beside the beds were laden with dust and dirt.

I booked a property to stay in for the weekend on Booking.com via Travelnest. The host contacted me and said the property wasn’t actually available and to request a refund which I would receive asap. Travel nest refused to refund my money, and didn’t answer any of the questions or emails I sent. They also didn’t refund the money once the host had told them to. When I called them to explain, they were unhelpful and told me I had to deal with booking.com. Terribly poor customer service. I will ensure to stay away from any properties that are managed by travel nest in the future. Thankfully booking.com stepped in and refunded me. It took over a week to sort.

The property was misrepresented and uninhabitable. Its a ground floor flat within a community block, filthy, dirty, and not properly cleaned. From the entrance, the stench was unbearable, making it impossible to stay.
My friends and I were forced to book alternative accommodation immediately. We checked out as soon as we realised that the property owner did not care about our concerns and was not going to make any effort to resolve them. Despite raising complaints, the owner was dismissive and unresponsive.
I am extremely upset and disappointed. It is inconceivable that customers are not protected in such circumstances. When I sought guidance from a third-party organisation, I was told that my fate was sealed and that only the property owner could help if I needed a refund. This is unacceptable, as travelnest facilitated the booking and should ensure customer protection against false advertising and uninhabitable conditions.

The communication was non existent. We booked via Expedia who subbed it to Travel nest who passed it to idyllic properties who passed it to the host. Except they didn’t. During that process travel nest forgot to book our accommodation. We arrived in the village in 2c weather with no accommodation and a non responsive host. Travel nest customer service was overseas and unhelpful and I repeatedly got cut off and had to call and start again. They kept saying they’d call the host and for me to hang up but this went on for hours. Awful service. Wouldn’t use them again. Incurred extra costs taking family to local cafe to warm up and have hot drinks while we decided how to proceed to arrange a bed for the night. No offer of any compensation and a ruined weekend.

Lovely, self-contained apartment with more amenities than described in previous reviews (e.g. tea towels, seasoning, washing up liquid). Toaster, kettle, microwave, hobs and fridge/freezer all in seemingly good condition. Very friendly and welcoming hosts in a gorgeous little town. TV and internet easy to use and reliable. Safe parking nearby. Felt at home quickly. Only very minor downside is that I struggled to open windows for some fresh air, but I suspect that may have some elements of user error.

We had a fantastic stay! Due to some last-minute travel logistics, we needed to reduce our stay time, and we were accommodated quickly and without any hassle. Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful— they even put up decorations for our wedding in the area, which made us feel especially welcome. We also received a lovely hamper on arrival, which was such a warm touch.
The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Location was ideal for exploring the island. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or book through Travelnest in the future. Highly recommended!

Great location right in heart of Leeds so walking place to place was easy.
Good value for money, very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Customer service was good and prompt when I had to call for entry codes etc

Scam. Doesnt exist - the map takes you to the middle of the bus parking spots in the bus station, all messages unanswered and numbers are to dead lines. The map on air bnb takes you to another non existent patch of land between a gas station and a bank. Emailed travelnest and booking.com and no response.

The van was comfortable and spotless. Daniel was veru helpfull when we needed to stay an extra night at short motice.
My only problem is the reception is not marked. A simple arrow would have beem a great help on the dark November nights. But dispite this I will certainly stay there agsin if I a.m in the area.

I have been booking an Apartment via booking and it seemed to be linked with Travelnest. The Appartement we booked was not available, the Appartement we got was much smaller, the kitchen in the same Room Like the bedroom, the washingmaschine was still in use and it was not cleaned at all, I found a dead rat in front of the door. I tried to contact the Host, who couldn‘t provide an Appartement Like described. So I cancelled the booking with the Host, who told me that she will refund the Money, however this never happend. I contacted booking and the Host several times, no answer. Very disapointing.

We were told that the apartment building did not have a lift and that the flat was on the sixth floor. In fact the flat was on the 4th floor of a very attractive building WITH a lift!
We were also told to pick up the keys in Earls Court. Fortunately, I know London well and questioned this advice and was told that,In fact, the key pick up location was a nearby shop in St John’s Wood. If I had been a stranger to the city this wrong advice would have made the start of the vacation very stressful.
I also questioned the flat number which was given as 4.0. When we arrived we were lucky to encounter the concierge who told us that the actual designation of the flat was 4 O (ie on the 4th floor where the flats were identified by letters of the alphabet NOT numbers).
All in all, your communication was very poor.
The flat itself was good as was the area which was peaceful and it had very good public transport almost from the front door.
