Massive thank you to Sam, and Travel Platino, for organising a superb bespoke itinerary for an extraordinary trip to Tromso, to see the Northern Lights, which we saw in different settings and were incredibly impressive!

Sam listened and understood our requirements, to create a tremendous trip in celebration of my sister’s special birthday. Everything was efficiently arranged for us; including excursions to increase probability of seeing the Northern Lights (a luxury catamaran cruise and a comfortable minibus safari into the wilderness), a historical walking tour (providing a motivating insight of how Tromso has evolved), to staying in a wonderful hotel in an excellent location to explore harbourside restaurants, visit local sights and attractions; including cable car to the mountain top, arctic cathedral, aquarium, museum, ice bar, local brewery, attend a midnight church concert and more. Most within walking distance, although we found local buses easy to use.

This trip had exhilaration, interest, enjoyment and fulfilled lifelong dreams, to see the Northern Lights! Our spectacular memories will be with us forever.

Sam organised the most wonderful and amazing trip for us which was arranged as a special birthday gift for me by my partner, sister and brother-in-law and something I have always wanted to do.
Sam was in regular contact to ensure our trip and excursions were planned exactly to our needs and he made sure everything ran really smoothly. Our hotel was fantastic and in such a great location for walking around Tromso. Sam provided comprehensive and informative details on all our excursions which included a catamaran cruise, city history tour and a luxury minibus safari to see the Northern Lights, which was just stunning and great fun. We were so lucky to see spectacular displays of one of natures most amazing phenomena on several nights. Huge thanks to Sam and Travel Platino for arranging this most wonderful and memorable trip of a lifetime, I can’t recommend this travel company enough and will definitely use them again. From start to finish, Sam was absolutely amazing. He took the time to really understand what we wanted from the trip and carefully built a personalised itinerary with special tours that gave us multiple opportunities to see the lights — and we were lucky enough to experience them several times! His knowledge and attention to detail made all the difference.

The hotel arranged for us was incredible, and we were greeted with a lovely birthday surprise on arrival, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Every element of the trip felt seamless and perfectly planned, thanks to Sam’s dedication and communication throughout.

This truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better travel company to organise it. We will absolutely be using Travel Platino again for our next big adventure.

We travelled with Platino to India for 26 days just my Son and I, we had incredible experience that created memories that will last forever.

As it was our First Time visiting India, we really welcomed all the support Platino gave us in organizing everything. From the moment we landed and met our driver, everything felt well planned and reassuring.

We visited amazing places including New Delhi, the Taj Mahal, and the Pink City. Mumbai and Kerala.

He is genuinely such a nice person, kind, patient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. He went out of his way to help me with my visa, and nothing was ever too much trouble. His care and attention really stood out.

Sam and Josh were amazing from start to finish when it came to organizing our multi-city trip in Brazil.

The time and effort they put into choosing the route, flights and hotels was unlike other travel agencies.

The hotel in Buzios was particularly lovely and they even arranged us some surprise tours in Rio de Janeiro.

Sam was so flexible when it came to our plans to travel to the north of Chile and Bolivia. He seriously worked magic as he stayed within our budget and found truly unique hotels and tours that were perfect for us! We also felt extremely supported while we were traveling as he checked in on us to see if everything was going according to plan. We wanted a round the world trip which was proving difficult to organise…….until we spoke to travelplatino!
They were amazing from start to finish, they sorted out the best flights, transfers, hotels and even bullet trains. We were away for 8 weeks, travelled 34,000 miles visited 10 countries and took 14 flights, all without a single hitch. Josh kept in touch along the way which was reassuring and he was always on hand for any queries we had. We will certainly use them again and are already planning our next trip with them.

Cannot recommend Travel Platino enough!! We traveled Vietnam, Borneo and Bali.
Seeing orangutans in the wild, swimming with manta rays and sitting inches away from the moving train in Hanoi with a cup of coffee are a few of the many highlights.
From start to finish Sam was professional and accommodating. Sam built the itinerary around us after getting to know what we like/dislike. He was available whenever we needed him and checked in on us throughout.
We went to the most breathtaking places even the hotels were gorgeous. Even better that I got engaged whilst we were in Bali! 💍

Travel platino organised an amazing surprise trip for me and my partner to Riga in Latvia. We throughly enjoyed discovering somewhere where we probably wouldn’t have looked at going to. Travel platino were very communicative with any questions we had regarding our stay. We had no idea where we were going on our holiday and Travel platino made the experience very relaxing and faultless. Honestly, I've just enjoyed the most phenomenal three month travel experience with Travel Platino. Three different countries - Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru with an itinerary that Sam and Josh created for me to support my solo travel. It has been such a unique and unforgettable experience which went so smoothly because of the attention to detail and personal approach that I received from Sam and Josh. It was truly seamless travel with 8 flights, 17 long distance buses, wonderful accommodation and family homestays and fabulous tours which gave me the cultural experience and engaging with local people that I was looking for. They also arranged a fabulous volunteering experience for me at OSA conservation in Costa Rica. It was a privilege to support the Marine and Wildlife projects there and work alongside such dedicated biologists. I have truly lasting memories from this trip and I'm so grateful to Travel Platino for arranging my perfect trip which gave me everything I wanted and more! Pura vida! Sam built our itinerary for Vietnam based on his personal experience. He booked flights, transfers, accommodation & tours in all 5 of our destinations.

Excellent, knowledgeable team with good communication from Sam and colleagues at Platino Travel allowed us to create a bespoke travel experience to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands.
