Pick up was on time. The van had plenty of room. Louie was our guide. He was fun, funny and very knowledgeable and informative. OK, at times he might have been a bit inappropriate. But, he made sure we got to know each other and we learned a lot about him and his life. The tour itself was fantastic! Beautiful views, at least 3 beaches, a lava tube, waterfalls, wildlife, rainbow eucalyptus trees and more. One of the highlights was the mama and papa pigs and babies. All of this plus a beautiful winding road, with narrow bridges. It was fun to hear Louie talk about the people he knows or had met like Kris Kristofferson's family, Oprah, and Mariah Carey's brother. The trip also included a stop at Aunt Sandy's Banana Bread and Huli Huli Chicken Lunch. Snacks on the bus were also included. Highly Recommend

We had a great time on our Road to Hana tour with Louie! Besides guiding us through the beautiful scenery, Louie told great stories and helped us get to know him and others on the tour with us. He even threw in a couple of extras along the way. Lunch at Huli Huli Chicken at Koki Beach was absolutely delicious! We have many fond memories from this tour.

I booked the Maui Nui Luau (the luau at the Maui Sheraton) through Travelshack since my family wanted to experience a Luau at Hawaii and there was no availability through direct booking. I normally do not use travel agencies when I try to book tickets or reservations.

Through some black magic, my booking through Travelshack actually solidified me a reservation at the luau and my party was able to attend like any other group there.

I never had to contact Travelshack for any details about my reservation and the booking was in my name / phone number.

I might use Travelshack again, but I would generally recommend direct booking if available.

On our recent Hawaiian adventure, we booked three different tours through TravelShack – Road to Hana (full); Volcano, Chocolate, and Waterfalls Tour; and Oahu Grand Circle Island Excursion (Pride of America Exclusive). The Road to Hana was the highlight of our trip, but all three tours were equally amazing. TravelShack was great to work with and Tyler was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them based on our recent experience.

Experience of a lifetime. The breadth of knowledge of tour guide (Lui) was incredible. I felt like I was part of history.

We loved our Pearl Harbor Memorial, USS Missouri, and Bowfin tour! As a veteran and a historian, Emerson detailed the events leading up to Dec 7th, 1941 as well as that solemn day. He answered all our questions and we so enjoyed his company. He values history and keeping these events fresh in people’s minds so the souls lost on that day will never be forgotten. When researching tour companies, I saw many references to a “glorified taxi service”, meaning their guide picked them up from the hotel, told a brief story on the car ride, and then left them at the destinations. Emerson accompanied us on the USS Missouri and Bowfin and continued educating us all through these tours. He did not accompany us to the Memorial because they do not allow tour companies. Seeing the sunken USS Arizona should be a quiet, contemplative experience and the military personnel do a nice job reminding people of this. Emerson never just dropped us off. He managed the schedule for the entire day and educated us.

A must tour! Our awesome guide, Lui, gave our small group an amazing history lesson in the events leading up to December 7, 1941 and beyond. He has so much knowledge to share and it projected in his details expressed to us. We could tell he loves giving this tour. Thank you for a great day and thank you for your service to our great country! We would highly recommend this tour!

I would highly recommend using TravelShack. The tour is given and owned by veterans. It was by far the best tour we had on our vacation to Hawaii. Emerson was not only a great tour guide but also very personable and knowledgeable. The tour made it very easy to navigate and make sure we saw everything we wanted to see.

Road to Hana tour with TravelShack is the absolute best. 10/10 highly recommend. They pick you up at your hotel or condo. Locally owned and operated. Worth every penny! Do not drive yourself you will miss out on local food, local information, and some really cool places!!

We had such a wonderful time! So glad I decided to take this tour instead of renting a car or going with the cruise tour. Meet up was super easy and then the drive was so amazing. We got to learn about the area and the history as well as eat some amazing Huli Huli chicken. We stopped along the way to view some of the sites up close and personal. Highly recommend to all!

Luey is the BEST! He’s the real deal and obviously loves his job. He gave us a wild, completely nontraditional “tour” experience. He’s so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING Maui, Hawaii, Hana, the history, the plants, the wildlife, the culture, the locals only stuff, etc. He’s not just spitting out a script & facts, he’s living it & sharing those learned experiences. We got to see a sense of love in the Hana community that would’ve been impossible on our own & most likely with some of the other tour companies. Our whole day felt like we had jumped in the car with a friend who took us on a ride to show us his life and all the cool things about where he lives and people in his community. He even sings along with the radio, just like that friend we all have. We felt cared for & included in his community. He knows everyone and they know him. It was the best time and we made a new friend. If you’re down for a truly genuine experience & lots of laughs, ask for Luey.

WoW! What a great day on the water in Oahu with Captain Dave, Lexxie, Jack!!! They were phenomal hosts, super friendly and professional.

Had the BEST experience with Olav as our guide for the Pearl Harbor Experience tour. He is the most knowledgeable, patient, professional guide my friends and I have ever had. We have traveled all over the world and truly feel as though Olav was unbelievable!!!

Had a great time with Nanci being our tour guide. I have been to Oahu several times but this was the most enjoyable and informative tour. Nanci went above and beyond what we expected.

This company is outstanding, and I highly recommend if you want to do any activity in Hawaii, please contact this company. One of the members in our party could not attend the luau we had booked, and Tyler worked very aggressive to obtain a refund for us with the luau company. I cannot say enough about how this company ensures they meet their customers' expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our circle tour of Oahu with Nancy. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and simply a wonderful person! We were fortunate to have a tour to ourselves with our family of four. Our stop at Pearl Harbor was efficient and not too long for the kids. Every stop was wonderful and well planned. Nancy was able to add in a special stop for my daughter to the Sunrise Shack on the North Shore. She recommended that our kids swing like Tarzan from banyan tree vines. They LOVED it! This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND🌸🤙🌸.

I booked 3 small group tours through TravelShack, 1 on each island, Oahu, Maui and Hawaii. The communication with TravelShack was great. Each of the tours was fantastic and just what I was looking for on my first trip to the Hawaii. Highly recommend.
