These people held my check for a week during a holiday week and still haven't paid me. I had to borrow money from family to gift my children a christmas! I'm embarrassed and demoralized! Way to degrade your employees!!!
Incredibly frustrated with customer service
Incredibly frustrated with their customer service team. There was an issue that occurred that will result in incorrect W-2s being issued in early 2020.
I reached out to them in October of this year detailing the issue. I then reached back out to check on the escalation three weeks later. The issue was still not resolved. A week or two after that, I receive an email reiterating my original issue that I had provided to their team as my "solution".
Honestly, maybe this company is simply too big to deal with individual tax issues. But, if that's the case, maybe they should get out of the business of trying to handle these matters for companies? Please think twice before starting a partnership with them. A C-level executive in my current organization is having similar frustrations due to an unrelated issue.
We have now switched to a competitor in the sphere. While competitor's will also not be perfect- they do seem to be a bit more attentive to critical issues that come up for employees.

This is very unusual for me to write a bad review it takes a lot for me to get to this point. I recently enrolled in health insurance through TriNet. I signed up for enrollment at the end of the month and they charged me for the whole month even though I can’t use the services I just paid for. I requested to cancel my benefits and they denied me. I have talked to several customer service representatives from TriNet and they have all been very rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. Unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only one who has had this experience with TriNet. They should probably reevaluate how they conduct their Business.

Overpriced compared to other companies that provide a much better service. You are better off with ADP or Paychex. Two companies that are far superior in every way and less expensive.

Worst Experience Ever
Worst Experience Ever. This PEO cost our company thousands of dollars through their mistakes. The reporting they provide via their website is incorrect and half the time you have to email them and they send you completely different reports. Their response time is days, even on important issues and they very rarely respond with anything more than a maco canned response. Save yourself a headache and the turmoil and find a different PEO.
Gets the job done
The platform is ok. I don't like the fact that employees can only view their paycheck on the actual day that they get paid. The site is pretty easy to navigate through.

The initial functions offered by Trinet are easy, but there are some issues with receiving the correct information when any issues come up, which can become rather time consuming.
Who is managing your team?
As long as the client manages the SOI team, service is fairly good. Follow up and knowledge by some team members is severely lacking. Incorrect information has been provided which would have caused major liability had it not been caught by the CLIENT. Also, your onboarding portal is clumsy and cumbersome. Not a good first impression to make with new employees. Finally, your benefits enrollment process needs to be reviewed. You cannot expect anyone to enroll online when you don't allow them time to receive and review plan materials.

TriNet is an excellent partner for our business and they are always there when we need them. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking to outsource HR and Payroll.

Would not recommend to other companies who are thinking of using them. Very frustrating experience. Like pulling teeth to get timely or accurate responses. Client Services Associate seems overwhelmed and juggling too many things, which causes drops in service and back and forth on calls and emails regarding "was this taken care of? when? what was the result?". Principal Capital Consultant is responsive when she wants to be, but only responds to emails or phone calls at their convenience. Requires constant reminders to call or respond to an email. Director of Capital seems very far removed from it all. Technical system problems seem to continue to plaque the system. Given the number of clients Trinet has and the costs we incur to use these services, the system side of Trinet needs to be much improved to get to a level that would be considered "acceptable" for this type of business. I am surprised quite frankly that there are so many bugs in the system for a company of this size whom you would think has the staff and competencies to address these software issues. Steer away from them.
