Easy online service. Fast turnaround. Very good cuts. Reasonable delivery cost. Great customer service. *Not kept frozen enough in transit compared with polystyrene boxes I've had before but froze again quickly once in the freezer.* Have retracted my previous 4 stars and given 5 stars based on the quality of the cuts and the overall service which is excellent.

The ice packs were still frozen hard…
The ice packs were still frozen hard after the package arrived in Leeds. I was stop no.54 for the DPD delivery driver. Vacuum sealed packs made it very easy to put it straight into fridge freezer. I wish we could order more soup bones. The pork ribs were very meaty, as were the tips.

Everything was flawless
Everything was flawless from order to delivery and the quality of the meat. The experience really did feel like a family business that cares about the customer even down to the hand written thank you on the delivery note.

rindless cubed pork belly…Not even close!
Ordered some rindless cubed pork belly for a family event this weekend…needless to say it was neither rindless or cubed as described. There was thick rind and what can only be described as offcuts ranging from 2 inch squares and other large strange shapes. Very disappointed considering the quality we usually receive from here. Never again!

Hi Isabel, I'm sorry you've had an issue with your order. As I noted on your invoice, we did our best to remove all the fat from your items, but it isn't always possible I'm afraid. Especially on products such as lamb steaks, as there is often internal fat, which holds the meat together. Removing it would cause the meat to fall apart and your steaks would end up in pieces. I assume you won't be back to order from us, but going forward, if you want pork steaks without any fat at all, I would suggest ordering something like 'Pork Medallions' as I think these would suit your needs. Good meat. My only quibble is the MSG in the chicken sausage, which I can't tolerate.---(should have looked at the small print !)
