this gum in my opinion dose the job, you may say it loses it taste quick but for sombody like me who just generally likes chewing gum 😂, definitely dosent want to be chewing plastic and other nasty oxidants, and it’s sustainable ! Would much rather be contributing to this smaller company than the sfe mass corporations that don’t care about your well-being either.

I bought a pack of raspberry gums and there was only 2 chewable gums in the box. The rest was just flavor without the “true gum”…
The customer service is un-existing…
No more fake gums for me.

Weird texture and loss of flavor
The gums quickly looses flavor and you end up with a gum that tastes like you have chewed it for 6 h after only 10 minutes. I had high hopes for the gum because the initial flavor was great.
The gums in strong mint has a really weird texture and they get stuck in your teeth, almost like eating a really sticky candy. The flavor is gone quickly to and after that it just becomes a hard and tasteless lump to chew on.
There is much better gums to chew and I would not recommend these. Not a pleasant experience!

May I ask where and when you bought the package, and which flavour it was? Potentially also a best-before date. I suspect you unfortunately have gotten hold of a package that dates back some time, as we have improved both texture and long-lasting flavour quite a lot over the last months.

No taste, good startup
I really support plastic free, vegan gum! However the taste (Turmeric & Ginger) is literally gone after 11 seconds - I tried three times and couted. Given the fact it costs around 3 euro's a package I won't buy it again unfortunately.

Thanks for trying our plastic-free chewing gum, super cool 🙏🏼And we're sorry to hear about. Saying goodbye to the aspartame, synthetic sweeteners and artificial flavours that dominate regular gum does yield a different result - it will never be a one-to-one experience, when all ingredients are fundamentally different 😊We would rather think sustainable compared to using synthetic and plastic derived ingredients - and that is of course a deliberate choice we make.
That being said, we produce everything at our own small gum factory in Copenhagen, where we continuously tweak and upgrade our recipes to make every paying customer happy (which is quite hard sometimes) . So if you've purchased a package of our gum produced +4 months ago, chances are that what we produce today should be even longer tasting compared to what you've experienced - without using the synthetic sweeteners that provide the long-lasting flavour perception many people are accustomed to. Hopefully you'll give True Gum a try again some day in the future and if not, then that's also totally okay.

Great products with a sustainable point of view. The idea of making a sustainable gum out of trees is astonishing and they are making a great product out of it, worth the higher price point.
