TruGreen - Seattle North Reviews 3

We have been a customer for 4 years. Our lawn is now 75%+ crab grass. The service manager visited my home to look at the lawn - which, as previously stated, they have been servicing for 4 years.
I was told that their service treats only dandelions and a few other weeds.
The suggested solution was to re sod my lawn.
TruGreen is owned by a private equity firm - and the minimal service, is a reflection of the ownership structure.
Buyer beware.

The communications are frustrating, and to add insult to injury, The person answering the phone asks how we may provide excellent service.

After several attempts, I was finally contacted by a branch manager. My ask was very simple: come out and take a look at my lawns and tell me if you are doing your job.
His response was that they had not touched this lower lawn. Really? Kudos to you. The next question, then, is why did I pay for it? 32 emails later and failing to acknowledge this. Time to have them explain their actions in a more formal setting.

Been with Trugreen since 2015 with two properties. Their estimate of my lawn size seemed too high so I requested a precise measurement to be sure I was not being overcharged. Well guess what, two weeks and still trying to get an answer to my yard size even though a technician came out and supposedly measured. Getting the run around. Manager said he talked to the technician who came out to measure and he was told that the tech did not write down the yard size or update my yard size in the computer. So another person will have to come out to measure. I asked what technique they would use to measure my yard and was told they have various ways of measuring. I asked which method would they use to measure my yard, not sure was their reply. Wish they would just come clean, measure the yard size precisely, charge me the correct price and do their job. About to lose a costomer.
