It seems that it would be a good fallback if I lost MS Office. But bottom line, it seems that the cost probably does not justify the shift to TrulyOffice. I have gone back to MS after an early try at Truly, but I will experiment further with Trulyoffice over the next year. Too much formatting was lost in the Trulyoffice version of the Apps, particularly Excel to TrulySheets, so a fast switch at this time was/is too burdensome.

Daniel made my experience absolutely enjoyable from start to finish. How blessed I was to get Daniel on the first try. I LIKE HIM!!! He understood how important it was for this seventy-plus widow, on a tight fixed income, to take a few days, use the Truly Office Student Suite, and transition from Microsoft Office. The Daniel-Bonus for me was how kind and patient he was as he spent time with me on the phone, walking me visually through my questions. Bottom-line: I am absolutely delighted to be free from Microsoft's yearly subscription and thoroughly pleased with my Truly Office ! And I found I could customize it for my personal use and performance. THANK YOU DANIEL ! I am not only recommending Truly Office, I am recommending they ask for Daniel -- TO Customer Service Representative/Technician.

8 days since I purchased the product, they processed my credit card and sent me a receipt and I have yet to receive a key to download and/or unlock the product. Not sure if the purchase of this product was an wise idea.

Trulyoffice is the SoftMaker program. The promised cloud (called truly cloud) does not exist. When you click on the link to unlock the software, you're taken to the SoftMaker website. Don't buy anything from them, it's a scam. Last but not least... The user manual does not exist.

Emre from Truly Office diagnosed my issue, sent me to the right place, and way finished in less than 5 minutes.

I was having problems understanding the application and I asked for help. Emre was very helpful in helping me set up.

I talked to a customer rep and was able to get all my questions answered in one call. What a novel experience. I then ordered and within 5 minutes had the link to download the product and install it.
I tested the two parts, word & sheets that i wanted and was pleased they worked with my Microsoft files. The programs are a little different and will take some getting used to, but I am glad I am no longer at Microsoft's mercy.

A good match for MS Office without a subscription

I did NOT want to pay for a yearly subscription just to have access to Word and Excel. I also wasn't happy about shelling out $150 as a one-time fee for download to only ONE computer. I was very interested to look into alternatives, and decided to try Trulyoffice; $60 as a one-time fee for download to up to FIVE computers? Sign me up! My only concerns were similarity in user-friendliness and compatibility with Word documents. I had nothing to worry about. Trulyoffice works in virtually the same way with the same features, and I have had zero compatibility issues. I'm a very satisified customer and would recommend Truly as an alternative to Word for anyone who is tired of all the money grabbing by Microsoft.

Up till now, I can't use my Word application. That expense makes no sense to me. No use. Ppt and Excel are good, though.

I bought Truly office with Amazon. I've got activation key from them. Truly office doesn't provide the option to download the product unless you buy it again. Truly customer service doesn't respond. It sucks.

There are some short-cuts that I can use in Excel that I can't in Sheets. So convenience isn't quite the same. But I do appreciate the lifetime subscription at a low price and being unaffected by the whole Microsoft debacle. Thank you

It doesn't read docx files as well as I had hoped. There is no text-to-speech function, among other nuisances. I suppose if you do original text, it will work fine, but there is a notable learning curve involved.

I cancelled out within a couple of days as the program was not to my liking. Did not meet my needs.
