Scammers follow up

As a follow up I withdrew all but $5.00 from the account these scumbags had tricked me into giving as a precautionary measure until I could get to my bank and cancel the card. When I did wouldn't you know there was a $1 charge to my card from a source that was simply a combination of numerals and letters. The CSR at my bank said that's how they test and if I had not withdrawn my funds I have no doubt the next charge would be the 39.95 mentioned in many reviews. The question I have is this. How did the QR code on my TV that appeared when I was attempting to sign up for Fox Sports lead me to this scam? If anyone knows the answer I would be most interested.

Yes... total scam ... can't believe this is legal!

Yes.... total scam. I used a QR code to write a google review of a company and was stupid enough to follow the steps that included providing my credit card information. Supposedly there was to be no charge, but $39.95 was hit on my card within 15 minutes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

This is a complete SCAM…

This is a complete piece of garbage scam flat out! It happened today, busy day, rushing to pay for something at home depot. Home depot gave me a qr code to scan for discount purposes. I used QR & Barcode Scanner by Gamma Play, WATCH OUT! Scam embedded (tudum.co). My case similar to many others here. I was in a rush, there was a lineup, I clicked and found myself fooled by these pathetic scammers. It didn't take me long to figure out something was off, but I wasn't fast enough as they immediately placed two charges on my cc. Like many other mentioned as well, it is impossible to cancel or dispute or anything. Do not even attempt to contact them, flag it, contact your credit card bank. Most importantly cancel your credit card as it will more than likely be sold in the black market.

It is probably a scam

I tried to watch our college play a soccer game and the site I went to said we had to subscribe through them. Well it didn't work but they do have my credit card number. Reading this sites review I realized it was a scam and cancelled the credit card.

WHAT A COMPLETE scam this is

WHAT A COMPLETE scam Tudum is. They make it physically impossible to "cancel" this service in any way on their website. My child accidentally clicked on this during a Minecraft game where it popped up and said it would take him to some kind of tool he wanted to collect in MineCraft. Now I keep seeing small amounts coming out of my account, and I can find no human way to cancel this scammy crap. Every turn I've taken - I cannot seem to cancel this. Id like to cancel my card but we are leaving on vacation tomorrow and there is no way Id have a new card in time... What BS that people still pull scammy bullcrap like this.

Same thing happened to me in Grand Junction, CO. Visiting for work and hustling to download their parking app on my phone. I denied the charge with credit card company but somehow am getting a $39.95 monthly charge.

SCAM

SCAM
First time I've ever scanned a QR code. Was trying to get free subscription for FUBU TV to watch MLB postseason.
Ended up seeing a pop up I couldn't click out of it somehow.
Then I got a weird email that looked really shady. That's when I went to my bank online and saw the charge. I caught it right away but they have my credit card information ...charged me $39.95 plus a $1.95 service fee.
I will be calling my bank tomorrow and I will probably have to change my bank card as well.
from what I've read here, it seems that they continue to charge even after cancelling.
Shame shame, Karma's gonna get them.

I was at Harbor Freight about to…

I was at Harbor Freight about to purchase a 400 dollar air compressor when I saw a banner that said with a new Harbor freight credit card I could get 10% off with my first purchase. Inside the borders was a QR code which said "TO APPLY NOW Scan this code" I did! It asked for a credit card. I mistakenly/stupidly though it was for verification purposes. After jumping through all the hoops on a little i phone without my reading glasses I thought I had successfully applied for a Harbor Freight credit card. Of course when I went to the check out they could find no evidence of my new card. When I got home and and checked my email I had a receipt confirmation from "tudum "?? 2022-10-08

Fraud

Thankfully, I get fraud alerts from my bank! This is fraud. I never signed up for Tudum. The charge came in as MUSPGA. I called them and they told me it was Tudum. Supposedly, MUSPGA cancelled Tudum for me, so we will see. Last month when this happened , I had to get a new debit card. This time Tudum had an old number but the fraud department alerted me anyway.

Surprise! Free = $39.95 and maybe more!

I had to log into a website to pay for parking in Providence, RI. Somewhere on that site there must have been a pop up ad that I clicked, and instead of signing up for an account to park, I signed up for for a free trial with Tudum! A free trial that cost 39.95! Plus, I was also charged $1.95 for some Battlegrounds thing at the same time. Talked to CS at Tudum, and the insisted it was a free trial, and that they didn't know what the $1.95 was for. After showing receipts, they somehow cancelled the subscription and refunded the charges that weren't declined by my CC company. This is company is operating under a Vulture model, and I'm disappointed that Providence would be associated with it in any way.

I have called the 855 company twice to cancel this and now this month I have three more charges from them-it is from a stupid parking app that we used in the city in July. I just called my charge card company and they have put a stop payment against this company so hopefully I will not be bothered again. I feel bad for people that don’t look at their charges every month you are absolutely getting scammed!
