Lovely time at The Tulip Fields today. Sadly marred by racist comments made by a member of staff in one of the food outlets on site. Staff training obviously not a priority!
First visit to Tulleys Sussex for the beautiful tulips. Very well organised with very friendly and helpful staff. Good information boards and lots of photo opportunities if you wanted them. I w... See more

We won’t be going back
We won’t be going back. They let way too many people in, to the point that you literally have to squeeze through anyone anywhere you go. Half an hour to queue for any sort of food or drink. Up to 2 hours to queue for any escape room or attraction. The atmosphere is great and all really well done and put together but the owners have gotten greedy and are letting way too many people in, that it’s made the experience way over crowded and not fun. Owners need to put a much smaller cap on ticket sales. For that reason we won’t be going back and will be telling other people the same
Dodge city escape room
We completed dodge city escape room with host Mi, she was fantastic and made the whole experience even better!

I was really upset to be treated the way I was , and felt very racist.
I got followed and split up from my white friends then interigated by 5+ security guards who surrounded me and interigated me. After accusing me of having and smoking drugs to witch I showed them my filtered cigarettes. They continued to follow me around the park
So completely honest review here
So completely honest review here.
My husband and our two daughters (8,13) were so looking forward to going to the PYO Pumpkin event. We even invited my sister and her partner and their two boys (6, 8). We booked an evening one just for something different-kids are older now etc.
This particular event is not on the main site so make sure you drive to the correct site for the event you’re attending.
Anyway, got there, decor is fabulous and in the darker light at night it really does look good.
However, as we paid £51 (incl £3 booking fee) for the 4 of us to attend, we just felt we could have got more for our money. This literally pays for your entrance into the event and parking for the duration you’re on site.
Here’s a little about what’s there when you arrive..
Parking-in fields. They have wooden slats or hard mud to park on. It was fine and if you do get stuck in the mud, they are helpful to give you a push! Clearly sign posted and lit up.
Entering the venue-great decor, massive variety of pumpkins and squashes to choose from. Prices are extortionate though. Our girls wanted regular sized carving pumpkins for Halloween each, total cost £24. (Absolutely not). Actually came away without purchasing any pumpkins due to the cost. Will go to Tesco’s tomorrow to pick a couple up and it won’t cost me any more than £6! Plenty of wheelbarrows to use.
Good venders on site- lots to choose from selling all sorts of food. Pizzas, bbq meat, fresh doughnuts, giant marshmallows you can melt on little fires yourself, (the girls liked this a lot) and loads more. There’s a bar, loads of places selling drinks-cold and hot and mulled wines, ciders etc. Prices are all very expensive, sister bought a regular sized hot dog with no frills and it cost £9, just to give you an idea. Soft drinks are around £2.50 each. Try the doughnuts-they are an amazing.
They had live music-although we didn’t stick around for it.
Random, very sad looking Ferris Wheel (not lit up or anything-saw it from the distance at first and couldn’t tell if it was actually working). The kids were desperate to go on this as it’s the only ‘ride’ there at this event however at £5 per kid and £7 per adult this was also a no go as for all 8 of us to go on it would have cost £34.
Massive field full of PYO pumpkins. Insta worthy pictures available if you like that sort of thing.
In conclusion, it was just ok. For the money we spent on tickets we expected more. There isn’t actually an awful lot to do.
Had a similar sort of ok time at places like Spadework’s just without spending a fortune.
Unfortunately won’t be returning for this event again but will maybe try the Shocktober event next time.
If you’re thinking of going, they only accept card payments mostly, it will cost you near to £100 depending on how many people you’re with.
Take your own drinks and marshmallows 😉
Avoid Saturday's Nights
Avoid Saturday's due to large numbers of Travellers descending on park!! Myself and my daughter got assaulted, staff assaulted, security running around all night, bars and live acts shut early, then queuing to leave the park there was cars doing doughnuts in the field with people hanging out the boot, moving cones to force their way into queue - very intimidating.
This was our 5th year going and never experienced this atmosphere before, we will return again - on a Sunday night - as the staff are amazing (very apologetic when they learnt of our experience) and the mazes are excellent
Mi, high energy and great host
Mi is an amazing host. She is a great character brought with so much energy, it really added to our experience.
Tulleys escape rooms are so immersive, great theming the second you walk into reception with some interesting games while you wait to enter your escape room.
Excellent 10/10
Today my group of friend completed the nethercotmanor escape room and we had an amazing adventure our instructor person was Mi and loved how she snapped straight into character and she was very friendly and expressive.Explained the locks really well.
Tulleys farm -Outfitters escape room
Tulleys farm -Outfitters escape room - fantastic escape room with lots of great puzzles and flowed nicely. The host Mi was so welcoming and gave the right amount of guidance and hints when needed. Great place to have breakfast on site and free parking when u book
Fab escape room!
We recently visited the Mutiny escape room, our games master was Mi and she was great! It was our second room at Tulleys and Mi really made it for us!
Such a great thing to do with the older kids, We will definitely be back again!
Great corporate day out
Great corporate day out at the escape rooms!
El was a great host!
You'll Love It
Been 3 times now to their annual Shocktober event. They change it up each year, it never gets boring. Some events are hilarious and fun (the haunted hayride is a MUST), and some are actually scary (think chainsaws in your face kind of scary). In between the different events stations, they have actors walking around playing roles, and they don't break character. It only gets better each year, they always step up their game. I always go late September/early October before the massive crowds. If you are able to, paying to upgrade your tickets to fast track queues is a bonus. However, the queues aren't too crazy, definitely not as bad as theme parks. Always loads of different food stations, and they have enough parking for everyone.
Escape Room Experience
Oh my gosh we had the best time! Was a rescheduled experience so belated birthday event but the room was brilliant. Mi was simply fantastic and I hope that she will be there again when we return! Done a few things with Tulley’s now and this is brilliant. Really recommend.
Set up beautifully and coats of drinks in the bar prior are not extortionate but range is limited but did not take away from experience.
Thank you! We will be back
Thanks Lauren for making our escape…

Tully's farm is a must for families…
Tully's farm is a must for families with small kids over Christmas. Everyone is fully into character and I had to remind myself that that wasn't actually Santa! He felt genuine and fully into character. They are super organised and the lines always moved quickly. We found ourselves resting on a bench eating some churros when an elf saw us and say down in full character chatting with our daughter. And that's the surprising thing - they are always in character, entertaining the kids in the lines and during the shows. They were tireless. Some attractions are obviously going to be more entertaining than others, but there's enough choice to keep everyone happy. The enjoyment is also in the details: giving the teddies a heart, or sneaking a Santa response letter to the parents at the Santa post office, or a little bell on the reindeer food. It's not cheap, but I think it's worth it.
The worst Father Christmas experience I…
The worst Father Christmas experience I have ever been to. Be prepared to que for everything along with a huge amount of people. Even after queuing for a tractor ride to see Father Christmas you then have to go away without a gift but you get a star where you then have to que again to collect your gift. High charges for all food and drink available. Not worth the time or money. Unfortunately no magical Christmas experience here.
Escape Rooms
We visited the escape rooms today and what an experience! Mi was fantastic and only gave us hints when we needed it. We escaped and can’t wait to go back to try another of them. There was a lot more than we expected but it was great fun!!
I visited farm today with my kids and…
I visited farm today with my kids and friends. Everything was fine until we went to order some food. We chose a food service called Lush and the woman who took my order was very rude with very bad atitude. She served previous clients who were English and she was very polite, but when she heard that I was speaking to the children in Polish, she immediately changed her tone. She treated me upfront and began to sigh impatiently as I asked the children what they were going to eat. Then she asked my son’s to finally ask me what I wanted to order. I speak English very well and I understand everything so treating someone with a different accent this way accounts for racism. I felt very humiliated and it completely ruined my nice day. I have been living in England for 17 years and I have never encountered such arrogance and rudeness before. When I asked for the manager, a young boy came and handed me a piece of crumpled blue towel and asked if I had already paid. I am absolutely outraged at this beahaviour. Absolute disappointment.
A great night was had by all
A great night was had by all!
Tyler did a fab job introducing our team to the Escape Room.
We all had lots of fun. A great team building event.
Tyler and Tulleys Thanks 😊
Card only
Card only! Having been last year, we went again this year and had a lovely family day out here getting pumpkins. It was a great experience BUT when you go to pay, it is card only! The places selling food and drink are happy to take cash so why not Tulleys?Fortunately my daughter had a card with her but if she hadn’t, there would have been crying children as they would had to leave their carefully chosen pumpkins behind! Some elderly grandparents may have taken their grandchildren and been unable to pay by card! Do you really want to lose custom? Our family may not go back next year on principle!
Nethercott Manor
We escaped Nethercott Manor this afternoon! It was absolutely amazing. I’ve done a lot of escape rooms before and this is definitely the best UK one I’ve done! The host Ed (aka our friendly ghost as we named him) was brilliant, explained it all clearly and we had a laugh with him! We can’t wait to come back and escape the other rooms! Thank you!
