Terrible Turf. Wire, holes and dead.
60 ish rolls of turf and a ton of topsoil ordered. Top soil applied. Laid immediately. Watered in evening and morning since. 1st 15 odd had a few that couldn't be used due to holes and complete lack of thickness. Yellow and dry. This was the case for over 50% of the turf. Remaining turf waz useless. Luckily, we had over ordered and managed to salvage the best of a bad bunch. The remaining turf was simply dying or dead Holes everywhere and just plastic wire instead of turf. Didn't photograph it as thought I had best crack on with the job on a hot day. It is very obvious that the first palette was from a fresher cut but the second was not. 60% of the turf looks shocking. Gave it less than 48 hours and thought it may revive but no such luck. Spent so much time and money on this and feel completely hoodwinked. Wife spoke to them and they were totally unreasonable. Telling us how we should water it!!! Imagine telling a professional gardener, who has laid many lawns, how and when to water newly laid turf! Anyway, I am fully aware of my legal rights here and will pursue this.
