I just casually click this app, then one of the representative called me to have a trial. It was quite difficult negotiation as at that time I was encountering challenges of time and resources as I am working in the hospitality industry, where the schedule is shift-based, not default 9 to 5 weekdays.

However, Amy helped me a lot to make me convinced that this platform is the option for me to learn mandarin with time flexibility. Moreover, I also casually requested Amy to have a Mandarin lessons for Hotel front desk area and yes I had 1 class about Hotel. Therefore it is not common textbook Mandarin that I have to start from the scratch and learn about general Mandarin first before discuss about work related (Hotel reception).

Thanks to Amy, I am starting to set my feet to master Traditional Mandarin, through this platform not only for Hotel work but also travelling and fitting in with Mandarin speaking community of around the world no matter where they are as I have difficulty to fit in to their culture. Thanks to one of my fave Badminton athletes, Viktor Axelsen and thanks to his Mandarin skills, I believe learning the language will enable me to fit in to Mandarin speaking community, so that I won't be feeling isolated again in a city like Auckland, New Zealand and other English speaking countries and also ace and nail in on and off the workplace as well.

Looking forward to work with Tutor ABC. It's a pleasure to have trial class without being replied in English by the teachers, when I speak Traditional Mandarin. :)

I absolutely love TutorABC Chinese for so many reasons! I've been with TutorABC (formerly TutorMing) for several years and over that time I have done over a hundred classes. The one-on-one instruction is invaluable. The tutors are kind, patient, and engaging. I feel supported in every way. The support staff (thank you Amanda Wu!) seem to truly care about my learning goals and are flexible with my needs. There are occasional technical issues but these very seldom occur and have in no way interfered with my learning. There is no app that can give you what a live tutor can provide. With TutorABC Chinese I am able to not just memorize vocabulary and grammar, but practice speaking and having conversations, this is invaluable in learning a new language. Also the material they use is highly relevant and customizable based on why you are learning Chinese. I highly recommend TutorABC Chinese!!!

I have been with TutorABC Chinese for more than one year. Teaching online and working from home enable me to do more things I want and give me a great flexibility to schedule my own time. I love meeting students who are from different backgrounds each day. As for the class, the only thing you need to do to enter the classroom is just a “click” which is really an user-friendly classroom platform with many tools to lead students during the class. I really love the tutorming platform for learning mandarin. There are many things to love - live tutors around the world who teach you one on one at all hours of the day, a platform that makes booking classes easy, a system of teaching that continues to challenge you. I have recommended tutorming to many people. It's a modern way to learn that beats any in class group learning. The hardest part is dedicating the time needed to really learn and find the mindspace to keep at it, because it is not an easy language to master. But if you put in the time and effort needed, it pays off.
