I love my Tymit card. It is flexible how you pay back and when. The service centre are amazing, very responsive if you have a query. I recently had a fraud case which was dealt with promptly and with minimal fuss.
I would, without doubt, recommend this card. This is my go to card!

Have been using a tymit card for years, never maxed out the card, never had any missed or late payments, all payments have been for the required amount (or more), have a credit score of over 980 according to Experian.
They suspended my account with no warning and no explanation as to why. All they would say, is that they are a "responsible lender" and have a duty to ensure people aren't burrowing too much (paraphrasing). Any cursory check of my credit report will find I'm probably one of the safest people to lend money to.
Tymit are not a responsible lender, they are borderline neglectful. The idea that they can just close your account with no warning and no explanation is not something a "responsible lender" should be doing. I dread to think the situations tymit have left some of those less well off in.
I've since payed off the entirety of my balance, closed my account and have opened another account elsewhere, I advise anyone using Tymit to do the same.

The customer service is good.
But what made contact the customer support team in the first place, was that I got a confusing automatic email after changing my passcode, following a pop up message from the app.

I have been using Tymit since 2021, reliably and until recently, was my regular credit card. Now few issues:
-Until quiet recently, they did not report data to credit reference agencies, which means that did not help the credit score, however that was not mentioned anywhere, it is something that I had to dig deep into.
-If you are tryin to pay off Tymit by a balance transfer, it is not recognised by major card providers, so you can only pay it by cash. Other cards, you can make advantage of balance transfer offers, specially when you credit score is good.
-Their security for online purchases was good and reliable.
-Poor customer service, they can not always address the issues I raise, somehow the team uses only prefilled templates to communicate, and no one to talk yo on phone or chat service.
-They did report wrong data twice about my account and had to rectify it.
*Overall, you may still benefit from paying a large sum over installments, however the card does not offer any advantage over any other providers, while the team is dealing recklessly with their customers.

I'm sorry to say I'm deeply disappointed it was one of the best credit cards I have but from this year April 2024 they will make you pay 6.99pounds monthly so I have nothing left To do than close the account goodbye Tymit

Brilliant idea allowing precision control over purchases. Flawless service for two years and great customer service. Credit limit increase from 1200 to 3750 without asking for it.
Despite having only 900 balance outstanding and without notice, explanation or how to resolve this issue, they blocked my card. I asked for clarification and how to resolve the issue, I was fobbed off.
Made all my payments on time. Never went over my limit. I experienced similar behaviour from Egg years ago and made sure I had alternative cards.
Their commercial decision to switch to B2B is probably the reason behind this bizarre situation but I guess we'll never really know.
Paid the balance and closed account the same day. Avoid.

Never missed a single payment, every instalment paid on time and now they choose to cancel my account with a very poor explanation. I was previously very happy with Tymit but now just a complete disappointment.
