Food left on random wall.
Ordered an Uber KFC - delivery to a small single unit business. The Uber delivery driver left the food on a random wall. Ended up resorting to Google to identify the location. Appalling service but I don't think 'service' is an appropriate word. Clearly lazy, unmotivated drivers that don't actually care where they leave a delivery or whether the person that ordered it actually receives it.
How is Uber still in business?
Absolutely disgusted with the response…
Absolutely disgusted with the response received from uber eats AI team after I was handed my order that literally split through the bottom of the bag onto the floor because Uber Eats hires morons as delivery drivers, I spoke to the AI bot team who insisted my order was only worth a £3.37 refund after the whole order was ruined by the delivery driver the order total was £18 delivery fee included which means I’ve paid for the driver to deliver my food in an edible state absolutely disgusted by uber eats response to this ineptitude
Absolutely disgraceful.
Absolutely disgraceful.
Order 3 meals through Uber from McDonalds. Should've been two bags, the driver ripped the receipt in half on the one bag he had and delivered only the drinks and claimed that's all McDondalds gave him.
To make matters worse, Uber then refunded £18 of a £34 order claiming that's the amount for the missing items. So 3 drinks cost £16?? It would've cost me £41 to order the missing items separately.
Fuming, two very hungry children who were looking forward to their treat.
Re-ordered from Just Eat, arrived 20 minutes later perfectly with a smile. Know where I'll be going in future

Awful found hair in my food and did everything to frustrate raising the issue.

I live at home with a disability which often requires last minute grocery shopping last minute . I made a decent size order which was split in to 3 drivers … 2 turned up absolutely fine while I ticked off the items I received so I knew what the third driver would be holding .
He then proceeds to ring me asking for my pin over the phone to which i declined as I hadn’t received my whole order yet.
He cursed and hung up on me then cancelled my order keeping my items for themselves … I was charged for items i never received and I was unable to request a refund as it was showing as cancelled . I have all evidence and screen shots BUT uber eats are refusing to help as apparently I have too many disputes on my account . This is disgraceful as your money is your money and if you want to claim back faulty/ missing items they will penalise you about this further down the line .
Disgusting and the lack of communication and empathy is blowing my mind . Uber eats has lost a loyal customer
Overcharging customers
When I make the order the total bill amount was £31.28, but later on they charged me £33.78. When I tried to contact them there was no response from them. Never trust this business.
I'm not happy because I do order

Abysmal customer support
Abysmal customer support
Agent auto-close your chat when they haven't resolved the issue. They ignore everything you say and just send auto-written responses without actually acknowledging the issue. I have never had such a bad experience reaching out to support, and I have had need to access Uber Eats support multiple times and every single time it makes me want to tear my eyes out of my skull. Learned my lesson, will not be using Uber Eats ever again.
Complete waste of money and immoral business practices
Ordered a dessert which was delivered completely stale, inedible and smelling completely burnt - it was so hard that it bent my cutlery. I spoke to Anjali Pandey who was completely rude, unprofessional and did not provide any resolution. Will never be ordering from Uber Eats again - shocking service and even worse customer skills.
Absolutely appalling
Absolutely appalling! Me and my partner ordered from kaspas it was a £45 order and we decided to cancel it not even a minute after making the order, uber then took £42 for ‘time wasting’ this is absolutely disgusting! No driver had even been matched to the order, and the restaurant itself probably hadn’t even received it at that point! This is absolutely disgusting!
Thieving c****
Orderd two buckets from kfc only one got delivered. Uber are saying im not eligible for a refund. So they have basically robbed me of £40. Dont pay with card people they only seem to refuse yo refund when you have no payment protection like PayPal. I will be putting a formal complaint in, as well as going to trading standards. Will also do a charge back on my bank.

Uber Eats is super convenient when I don’t feel like cooking. Orders usually arrive on time and the tracking feature is helpful. I’ve had a couple of small mix-ups, but customer support fixed things quickly. Overall, it works well for me.
Never order anything through them!!!

I ordered a meal from Burger King through uber eats on the 8April 2026 the total of the bill was £72.08 then they asked me for another payment of £30.00 as a security incase there is not enough funds in account or in case of fraud they put this down as authorisation funds and it tells you it will be voided after everything is cleared after you get you meal this is not the cases I’m still fighting to get this back of uber eats the sum of £30.00 excuses after excuses saying I have a double account on my uber eats app of which I don’t have uber eats are fraudsters you can’t get anything off them they don’t want to pay any money back to customers that are owed it what should have cost me £72.08 for my meal it ended up costing me £102.08 that’s is £30.00 in uber eats pockets that I got nothing for it try and avoid them they are not to be trusted

Delivery rider gave me the wrong order
Delivery rider gave me the wrong order. Support refuses to help and says I got correct order. They gave me pizza's from someone else instead of my noodles.. support is a bunch of useless tools who just smack buttons to get as many tickets done as possible
Ordering from Uber Eats has been Pathetic Every Time.
Ordering from Uber Eats has been nothing short of a disaster every single time. Waiting hours for food has become the norm, and the platform shows absolutely no sense of responsibility or urgency.
Customer support is practically nonexistent. The app traps you in useless options like “cancel order” or “change address,” and when you try to get real help, it just pushes you to submit a note instead of connecting you to an actual human. It’s clear they’ve made it deliberately difficult to reach support.
To make matters worse, drivers themselves admit they’re forced to wait until they have 5–6 orders from the same location before delivering. By the time the food finally arrives, it’s cold, delayed, and completely unacceptable—especially when you have guests waiting. It’s embarrassing and infuriating.
What’s even more shocking is their complete lack of concern. Even when you complain or threaten a negative review, they simply don’t care.
This isn’t just pathetic service—it’s outright negligence. Avoid at all costs.
Too slow
First time I have used Uber Eats for food delivery as football was about to start. For half an hour their site showed picking your order. The restaurant is only 15/20 walk away. Orde arrived just before half time semi warm. I don’t think I will ever order through Uber Eats again.
Would give 0 if I could
Would give 0 if I could. Both times the estimated delivery for groceries/food was over 60 minutes over estimated with no customer service for refunds
Overcharged and Ignored: Discounts Not Applied, Support Unresponsive
I had a very disappointing experience with Uber Eats regarding incorrect pricing and poor customer support.
I placed an order with a confirmed total of £41.89. The next day, after one item was removed due to being unavailable, I was charged £56.39 instead. Logically, removing an item should reduce the total—not increase it.
After reviewing the receipt, I found that multiple promotional offers shown at checkout were not applied. For example, items advertised as “3 for £15” and “3 for £10” were charged at significantly higher prices. This clearly explains the price increase, yet support repeatedly avoided addressing this.
Instead, I received generic responses about authorization holds and was asked to provide screenshots of offers from the time of purchase—something no reasonable customer would expect to need for everyday shopping.
Despite clearly explaining the issue and providing specific examples, my case was “escalated” and then ignored. It has now been over two weeks with no resolution or meaningful response.
Mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability, transparency, and basic customer service is what’s most concerning. This experience has seriously affected my trust in Uber Eats.
