Ordered an expensive Dash saddle over 6 weeks ago!! I understood it was ordered from the USA and I allowed extra time. When I chased the item several times and was told it was coming or it was in customs I allowed even more time. When finally I tried to go online and see that ubyk site was not there anymore then I tried emailing and calling umpteen times with no answer I realised this company was just a bunch of scammers. Ive had no communication from the company to let me know whats going on at all. Dont deal with these people. Totally useless and now ive got to waste time claiming money back!

Seem like nice people but they shouldn’t advertise items as being in stock when they aren’t. I doubt I will use them again as lost confidence in them.

Beyond Incompetence
It feels like this company are at it. This is beyond incompetence.
* Claimed the product was in stock when it wasn't.
* Website states payment upon fulfilment but took payment immediately despite it not being in stock.
* No order confirmation other than the merchant emails - I checked all deleted and junk mails. Definitely not received. Emails systems perhaps as bad as customer service (btw implementing DMARC will reduce non-delivery)
* After a week I then emailed to cancel the order and response confirmed this was fine.
* BUT NO REFUND GIVEN.
* Phoned the company 3 times over several weeks.
* STILL NO REFUND GIVEN.
* Formally escalated through Paypal
* Then refunded immediately. Obviously concerned about losing their merchant options.
* Following Trust Pilot review - got snotty email saying within T&Cs.
* Response to Ubyk below - i am not claiming no communication. I clearly state above about email response. Still never received an order confirmation from Ubyk despite telling you them hadn't received one.

Bought and paid for an item they didn't even have in stock and was on back order for over 2 weeks, I only found this out after contacting 4 days after ordering,. Disgusting behaviour will never use again.

Ordered in stock oneup pedals on black Friday, they never sent them or informed me they were out of stock until I emailed them a week later, then they just cancelled my order, so I've missed out on Black Friday deals elsewhere, the website is still claiming item is in stock a week later. Zero customer service.

Avoid this company
I have received a very poor worst customer experience with this company.
I ordered an extremely expensive high end moutain bike from them, when the sale went through I was quoted 4 weeks for delivery, I waiting 5 weeks and had received no update so called them to see what was happening and the person a spoke to luaghed at me when I told him I had been quoted 4 weeks and informed that they could never have had the bike ready in this time. Extremely annoyed about his attitude and also it was them who told me 4 weeks.
They then went on to provide me with 2 further estimated delivery dates on which they failed to deliver and after adimatlly telling they they would deliver the bike on a Sunday randomly one sun it arrived.
The bike had been purchased on finance, they breeched the terms of the agreement and begun taking funds from my account before I had received my bike, this means they contacted the finance company and lied to them by telling them I had received my bike, I had to call them and managed to get a stop put on it.
My bike arrived in used cardboard box which had come off another bike and it was held together with brown tape, it did not look like my bike had been cared for.
Once unpacked I discovered that they had fitted the wrong tires and they had fitted a different stem from the one I had asked for and also a cheaper stem then the one I had paid for. I had received no information about why the parts on my bike had been changed.
Further to this a spacer had been fitted in the cassette between gears 9 and 10 which meant the bike would shift above gear 9.
Latterly I now have an issue with the fork which should be getting fixed under warranty and getting them to reply to emails has been like pulling teeth, littery 2 or 3 weeks to reply and they need to chased constantly.
I would never consider using this company for anything.

Just Awful
I ordered two pairs of Gloves a week ago, both in stock and expected to receive them in good time. Two days after the order I had a vague e-mail stating:
Sorry for the slight delay in shipping your order.
We are working through the orders as quickly as possible and as soon as your order is dispatched we will send you an e-mail to let you know that it is on its way to you.
And that's it, i've had no news on if they will ever actually be dispatched and it cannot take a week to pick out two pairs of gloves and ship them.
I have a number of winter rides coming up and need the gloves soon.
AVOID - Lies about stock availability. Took 32 days to refund a cancelled order of £1000!
AVOID. I ordered a Wahoo Kickr worth £1000 from these cowboys. Website said it was in stock, then I receive an email saying payment cannot be processed. The payment is processed then I am left to wait for a few days until then finding out it's not in stock. I cancel the order after 1.5 weeks of waiting for it to come in "tomorrow" and am told the refund is with accounts. The refund has only just been processed and will be with me in 3-5 working days. This totals 35-37 days for a £1000 return on an item I never even received. Calls are shielded when trying to chase the issue. Was told it would be resolved a week ago by someone else who never came back to me. AVOID!!!

This is my second review of that Company. On my First review i give them 5 stars, because my order arrive faster than i expected and everything was fine.
On Monday, 12.11.2018., i made my second order and pay 144 British pound for my sons birthday (bike helmet) present (wich is tommorow 17.11.2018.). On their website helmet is listed as IN STOCK.
Next day, 13.11.2018. i see on my profile that status of my order is still not processing, not shipped. I send an email to Ubyk sales team and they emailed me back that my order will be shipped tomorrow 14.11.2018.

After that email i answer them and tell that i want my money back and wait for their positive answer and mercy about start processing refund process as soon as possible (i hope), so i don't need to open a case on my Paypal acc..
I don't even know how long it will takes to refund me, but when i'm pay it was immediately - shame!
So now i must dissapoint my son because i don't have his promised birthday present.
And last but not least, my hard earned money is now on some other account.
A one week to tell me (on my request), that they cannot fulfill my order -
very suspicious about that way of business.
I'm very worried about that stock listing. It can't be that way. You can't put status IN STOCK accordingly to supplier, but according to your warehouse status. Thing is simple you have it or not.
Only positive thing is that they responded on my emails, but with apologies and that's all.

One star is too much.
Unfortunately, same experience as many on here.
Ordered a part, and 2 weeks later no delivery or ETA. If you call them, they are very apologetic and offer every excuse in the book, blaming others within the business and telling you that it should be dispatched 'tomorrow'. This happened a couple of times, same story, but clearly didn't have the stock and wouldn't admit this. The website says payment isn't taken until the order is fulfilled, but they took payment at the time of the order.
I had to call and email numerous times to cancel before they would send me an email confirming the cancellation.
A week later, still no refund, but I receive an email notifying me of dispatch.
Had to call yet again to insist on cancellation. I was questioned why I wouldn't accept the part (4 weeks later) and whether I had bought the part from elsewhere and who I had bought it from, before I was finally provided a refund.
Customer service standards are poor and far below any reasonable expectation.

These guys are scammers, be aware they aren't a shop and don't carry any stock..none of this is immediately obvious on the product page. All the liability is with you the consumer as they take money for products they don't acutally have. They don't answers any communications. Weeks later no product, no money and no answers. SCAMMERS.

I ordered 2 expensive lights before the clock change. 4 weeks in I’ve chased them every week and no one has got back to me or tried to make it right. Today they declared they should be with ‘them’ next week.
Total waste of time with no customer service skills. If they’d been in contact or even tried to swap to another product I would of worked with them. But they left me no choice to ask for money back, wasted a month of no lights and 2 weeks of no pedalling. AVOID!!!

Keep clear of this company. Ordered hope brakes front and rear site said in stock but obviously wasn't. Tried to get my money back and they reply when they can be bothered. If I don't get my money back in the next day or 2 I will be taking legal action against them. I cancelled the order, they took the money from my account even though the order was not fulfilled. Communication with the company is very poor i.e. do not respond to email contact or return phone calls and goods advertised are quite often not in stock.
Great Result_HT ME03 pedals
Recently purchased HT ME03 pedals. Pricing was better value than any other store online. Despite shopping online frequently I had never used ubyk before.
The pedals arrived in Sydney exactly a week after I ordered them.
Although there weren't any automatic emails directly from the store to confirm payment received or any shipping dispatch email, the direct customer service was excellent with email inquiries being responded to the same day.
Note: Shipping was free and quick, though Royal Mail doesn't show much information once the item leaves UK (& couldn't track it on Aust Post app).
Very pleased with the purchase and will order from them again.

I had bought a bike from UByK after having a nightmare with a poorly set up bike that I had recently purchased from a very well known Internet based company, which I subsequently had to return.
Overall my experience with UByk was the polar opposite to the other company.
Excellent communication, quick delivery, skilled tech staff and a great bike at a superb price.
I never do these reviews, but they completely deserve 5 stars.
