We recently worked with Stephen Howell at UGP to support one of our clients whose meter had been de-energised and Stephen helped us organise a new contract for. Stephen acted promptly and engaged his back office siteworks team, who arranged for a metering team to attend the site and successfully re-energise the meter.
Special thanks to Nas and Panashe in the siteworks team for their efficiency and excellent service in resolving the issue. We also encountered a complication when a neighbouring business mistakenly submitted a Change of Tenancy request. This could have caused significant disruption, but thanks to the swift action from the COT team—particularly Keira—the situation was quickly resolved.
We greatly appreciate the professionalism, responsiveness, and teamwork from everyone involved. Their efforts not only prevented downtime for our client but also protected the integrity of the contract we have in place as a TPI.
Outstanding service all round—thank you!

I signed up with this company on 3 May 2025 after reading their great 5-star reviews on Trustpilot.
Herbie and Hannah were very helpful and made the switch easy for me.
I like that the Terms and Conditions are clear and they offer fixed energy rates, which gives me peace of mind. Yes, their standing charge is the highest on the market, but I still went ahead as they offer proper customer support by email and over the phone—something I value a lot.
I haven’t had my first invoice yet, but I’m hoping everything will go smoothly.
I switched from Maxen Power. Avoid Maxen Power!

Having dealt with multiple electricity companies throughout my career as a property manger it can often be the call you put off as you'll inevitably spend time on an automates system then hold and more likely than not have to explain everything to multiple people during the call. Not with Reece or Tom. I rang this morning having only heard about the company the day before, Reece was instantly knowledgeable of what I was talking about. He then arranged for Tom to give me a call and again he was really great and explained everything I needed to know even though I am some way off form being bale to move my meters - it didn't stop Tom being supportive and spending time discussing ti with me

From the very first phone call UGP's service has been absolutely fantastic! The fact that they are a direct supplier, local to our business and offer considerably competitive pricing for energy were the initial draws for us as a business.
However, the level of customer service provided knocked it out of the park for us. Prior to switching to UGP, we were in a complex and undesirable contract with our previous providers, who offered almost no support or advice.
UGP provided incredible advice and support throughout the process, and when our previous supplier chose to make things even more complex, Tom Menaldino and Sophie Walker at UGP stepped in for us and resolved the issue on our behalf. They both kept in close contact with us throughout the process, and in doing so have managed to save our company considerable costs and eliminated a huge administrative headache for us.
Cannot recommend UGP enough - very happy customers!

The personal service from a deadicated agent and extremly quick response time was brilliant. We were forced to move energy contract from another supplier with very little notice, but they were able to get us into a new within a couple of weeks.
