Delivery was fantastic, even with an item missed off they delivered with a couple of days.
The timber is not of the highest quality, there are variations in dimensions, some timber is not planed fully. But if you dont require top quality dimensions and can work around the rough parts of timber.

Mostly I’m pleased but I wasn’t expecting size differences of 5mm on timber that has been through a thicknesser. It meant items had to be sorted for matches to build a sleeper wall.
Having said that I will buy more when required.

I ordered a number of items from their 'Pergola Components' to build my own pergola. The posts were supposed to be 100 x 100 x 2400 (mm) and they varied between 90 x 100 or 110 x 90 etc., making it difficult to fit into 'fixed size' metal post spikes, they were 'notched' to fit the 'rafters' but the notches were of all different sizes (none as they should be i.e. 100 x 50). Also the 'rafters' were supposed to be 100 x 50 (mm) and most were 90 x 45 (mm). Two of the posts were badly stained with what looked like oil and were totally unuseable. The company said 'there should be some tolerances in the timber trade' - why? Builders Merchants manage to provide timber that matches the advertised sizes - this company cannot! They replaced the 2 stained posts but after a great deal of effort on my part and I was made to feel like I was a 'nusiance'. I would strongly advise against using their Pergola products.

Good quality products at a very competitive price! Free local delivery is a bonus. My roofing batten order was slightly less than it should have been but was sorted as soon as I flagged it, and resolved on the day. Very friendly staff, highly recommend!

Simple ordering system and good information on delivery dates and times

Goods arrived within the allotted time frame, the product that was ordered was planned sleepers some 2.4m and some 3.0m lengths, one of the 2.4m lengths had a big slit in it which I decided not to use, the other issue I had was with the thickness of some of the wood some had 6mm difference between the 2.4 and 3.0m length's. Next time probably would go for normal sleepers.

The wood came on a pallet. The delivery driver was very helpful by putting the pallet exactly where I asked him to put it. Will use this firm again.

I did purchase 4 bulk bags of firewood. All chopped and sized, good low moisture content. Prompt delivery, competitively priced.

Great all round. Helpful and responsive advice - product was as promised and as needed, we opted to collect and it was available promptly after being cut to order. Major advantage that they had UK stock at a time when the European sawmills were on shutdown - allowed us to progress the job without a month’s wait. Highly recommend.

Could supply the small quantity we needed at a reasonable price. Delivery was expensive but a nice trip out saved us the money. Great quality and friendly service throughout. Cladding looks amazing on our porch.
