BE WARNED this is a dangerous scam
BE WARNED! We got scammed by this website which impersonates the UK government website and steals your sensitive personal information at the same time. We ended up paying hundreds of dollars for something that just cost £20 or $30 on the UK government website.
We are reporting the website including to google which should not display a scam site in their search results!
I have serious doubts on the 5 star reviews!!

Received my UK ETA faster than expected.....
Applied late at night before my flight to London and honestly expected delays. Instead, the process was straight forward and my ETA approval arrived surprisingly quickly. The updates throughout the process made everything feel organised and reliable.

The time the system was open was satisfactory.
There was a quick response explaining the passport problem, and they responded quickly.
Suggestion: before starting the application, indicate that we will need a copy of the passport and a photo.
And even though I wasn't in a hurry, I couldn't pay without the additional fee (there's no way to revert the information).

My husband was in a rush and applied through this dodgy website after I had already got my visa through the official channels. As soon as it was put through I requested it be cancelled. I literally got the confirmation email after requesting the refund. They delayed the request by sending a refund form, by which time they said it was too late. There had been no processing at all. I received a tiny refund because they claimed it was already in their system. Always use the government website, these businesses take advantage using Google ads to appear at the top of the page and catch people who are rushing and quite happily take your money for nothing.

AVOID "ukvisaportal" for ETA visas in U.K.
I thought "ukvisaportal.com" was the official website of the UK government for getting an ETA visa. It certainly is not!! Avoid using this website because they charged me over four (4) times more than what the UK government charges. I paid them CDN $165, but the UK government site (gov.uk) charges 20GBP, equivalent to only CDN$37.
So I wrote ukvisaportal.com an email requesting a partial refund and they refused.
So, use the official UK website: gov.uk NOT ukvisaportal.com

Once the photos are in order, it’s a breeze.
I appreciate how quickly I was able to receive my authorization - quite uniquely expeditious in my experience with governmental documents! The finickiness of the picture requirements was the only bump in the road: it’s hard (in one’s house) to get a picture of a passport that passes muster. But after a few failures I got it done.
