I had trouble getting my pictures…
I had trouble getting my pictures accepted at first. It frustrated me that the pictures had to be perfect. I re-submitted another set of shots and failed again. I think better and clearer examples of acceptable and unacceptable photos should be displayed.
What was very helpful was the patience of the Visa Team. They were very helpful and nice throughout the submission process and we got it done! Mahalo.

Deceptive Misdirection
I was led to believe this was the legitimate UK government site to obtain an ETA visa. It is not. The listing in search engines is deceptive and meant to misdirect. The cost of 3 visas was nearly five times what the visas actually cost. I asked for a refund as soon as I learned of the deception. They refused to refund my money. I will need to dispute the credit card charge now.

BUYER BEWARE. SCAM. Terrible to find out significant up-charge in processing fees that is NOT RELATED TO UK GOVERNMENT. I was up-charged ~$119 AUD on to of a $40 government fee. There is no clear information on an parts of the website after direction from the google URL that indicates this website is not affiliated with the UK government.

When I first started the process, I’ll admit it felt a bit overwhelming. There were quite a few steps involved, and I wasn’t entirely confident I understood everything correctly. However, what changed my experience was how the platform gradually guided me through each stage. Instead of presenting everything at once, it broke things down in a way that made it easier to follow. I particularly noticed that once I completed one section, the next steps became clearer and more logical. By the time I reached the final submission, I actually felt quite confident that everything had been done correctly. Looking back, what seemed complicated at the start turned out to be very manageable.

Better experience than expected
I was honestly a bit unsure before starting, mainly because I’ve had complicated experiences elsewhere before. This time, however, the process was structured properly. $228 instead of $48 - Rip-Off, use official App or Website!
Careful, rip-off! Applying for ETA through the app takes seconds (instant approval) for $24 per person. UK Visa Portal charges $140 or more per person extra for "4 hour fast approval" this is criminal!
Edit: UK Visa Portal requested more information, so here it comes: I started the process last night on their website for 2 travellers. We wanted to travel ca. 12 hours later. I selected passport type, traveller information, all passport information ( a lot of work!) - in the last step, I was asked, what processing time I needed: 24 hours, 4 hours or 1 hour. 4 hours would have cost a total of $227.98!!!
Instead, I went a head and downloaded the official government ETA app and paid a total of $48. The ETA was also approved the same second as submit was clicked. So, I got a service at 14.400 times the speed for a 79% lower price.

Definitely a scam website made to look like an official UK portal. Seems to be using a pay service out of Dubai. Highly doubt that anyone working there is even British. I paid $269 for a service that should have cost about $60 total.
