I wanted to download a free PDF, but I was asked to pay £1.99 for just a month.I never subscribed to this amount of £34.99 however in two consecutive times £34.99 was deducted from my accounts. You can not even find a lace to cancel such transaction if there is any. They are fraudsters, faceless and all their evil deeds will end them in a grave. Please let us us be vigilant when surfing.

Complete fraud. I paid a one off £1.99 for a test then without agreement I have been charged £34.99 per month.

Paid a one-off fee of 1.99 and then deducted 34.99 twice a month later without signing up to any subscription or monthly fee. Disgraceful behaviour. Do not use this company.

Please do not use this company it is a scam. I thought I was internet savvy, but obviously not. I did a one off transaction with this company but then a month later they took a £34.99 monthly subscription without me signing any agreement. I tried to cancel the subscription to my card but it was impossible through them. Thankfully my bank came to the rescue. A big lesson learnt.

This is scam, i was charged x2 €34.99, but i didn't sign for them,. They took my money with out any warning about bill. Somehow i found how to cancel, but when go to check again its is, Ther no cancelling w.t.f. .
They took money on September 6, and second time on october 6
That rubbish company or person who stay behind need killing, only killing. They dont deserve other decision.Scammers, rubbish............Hope they get what they deserve.

To be fair about this, the software worked surprisingly well & was was pleased with the result.
I only had a few documents to change from pdf to Excel, so paid the £1.99 for a weeks worth of usage.
I tried to use a "single use" card to make this payment, but the site would not accept it, so just used my Bank card as normal, the reason then becomes clear....
To my surprise,a few weeks later in August, I was debited the full monthly premium !
I contacted my Bank, they said it was legit - nothing they could do and they would cancel further subscription payments at their end, but then a second debit was made.....this time I manually blocked the card against future debits.
It's a pity really, as the program worked well, but never - will I use them again.
This is a sharp business practice, a great pity indeed.

Having blocked payments from my card, the Company still continues to attempt to make more and more requests for payment - 34 to date, and if I try to access the "Members area" to see why this is, my account has either been blocked or removed, so any attempt to close the account is impossible.

I raised a complaint with my Bank - Revolut, they chased it up on my behalf and I was fully refunded, so a good overall result.

they scammed 34,99 Euro, and can anyone help me how to cancel? even though I did not subscribe any subscription.

The same issue as everyone else on here and their other 'business' Ultra PDF.

I will be raising a dispute with my credit card company but for anyone else affected by this awful business, I'd advise:

Cancelling your subscription immediately on their website - this was impossible to do on a mobile device but I managed it on a desktop.

Email their support team to register your disgust at support at pdfsmart.com

Report the issue - so far I've reported them to both:

The FTC's report fraud function AND
Oregon Consumer Protection

This means war....I would encourage you all to do the same until this business does the right thing and makes their shady practices clearer.

1. Access via pc as it's not possible / too cumbersome via mobile
2. Go to ultra-pdf.com
3. Log into your Member Area
4. Find your active subscription(s) and follow the guided procedure
5. Make sure to drop a message to their customer service to express your utter disgust for their practice
6. Repeat here on Trustpilot

Feel free to copy paste this very message to ensure it is extremely easy for newcomers to understand how to get rid of this piece of garbage right away.

Can only give 1 star - but it should be -100

Scammers - used the service for a free 7 day trial a year ago. Somewhere buried in the small print - they auto-renew a year's subscription without advising you this is going to happen. or sending any reminders that they are going to take money from your account.

Tried to unsubscribe and they make it as confusing as possible to do so, eventually managed it.

I see everyone had the same problem, can someone tell how he could cancel ultra pdf?

Awful experience, didn’t know I’d signed up and they’re now charging me and they haven’t accepted my cancellation emails! Do not trust these people!

They just charged me £34.99 for nothing. It’s totally scam.

Same as everyone else. Absolute scam and got charged unexpectedly and had to figure out how to cancel a subscription I didn’t know I had.

As mentioned in other reviews, they don’t provide a way to log in on mobile so you can cancel. There is a way around this though as the page does exist. Just visit their website and then add /account to the end of their web address. You can then get to your account to cancel it on mobile.

Wjhy would you scam people like this, Now I have to go change my card because this lot dont even have an "opt out tab". These are bonafide thives. AVOID
