It seems like you can get away with shoddy workmanship and you simply blame it on the 'faulty' new part

I took this van in several days ago with a new clutch slave cylinder and clutch kit and the arrangement was the Ultra Tune was to put these in for me. So the job was for labour only.
The following day the manager rang to inform me after carrying out the job they took it for a test run and they left there overnight but they found the next morning that the slave cylinder had leaked and it was implied that I had supplied them with a faulty slave cylinder which they suggested I would have to take up with the supplier but the job would need to be carried out again with another slave cylinder.
I eventually managed to acquire another and delivered to their workshop and while I was there I noticed the van was back on the hoist and on closer inspection I found they had removed the gearbox and the slave cylinder was there for me to inspect.
The first thing I noticed was that the cylinder was broken where it is bolted to the bell housing.
And on closer examination there were
1. Marks along the rim
2. Slight scratch marks in the inner shaft
3. The collar was bent to one side
4. And the gaps between the collar and the housing was wider on the side where the scratches were
I believe this was caused by the slave cylinder coming loose or was simply not bolted down when it was reassembled
I was charged twice for removing the gearbox and replacing the new slave cylinder with another. They insisted the part was faulty notwithstanding the part I supplied was brand new and when it was removed it was broken and damaged

Saved by Ultra Tune Goulburn

Had the check engine light come on as we were leaving Goulburn, NSW, on our way to Melbourne. Ultra Tune Goulburn were fantastic. Exemplary customer service, professional and friendly. Sourced and fitted the required parts and had us on our way in under two hours. Highly recommended.

Very professional.

Very professional, friendly and quick turnaround time. Plus the price was great too and I was able to use Afterpay! What more could you ask for? Very happy and will be returning.

Bad customer service

Tried to call to make a complaint about a centre, the phone operator was extremely unhelpful. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she refused to hand me to anyone else. She refused to give me her name ans told me it was my problem if I didn’t hear it when she answered the phone. She then hung up on me. I will not be using ultra tune again.

OVERPRICE don’t go there

Had a leaking in the steering and had to replace a pipe. I asked few times how much would be but they said that they did know. When i came to pick up the car they charged me $600 for a pipe + labour and oul $800

Hi .....All I have been going to…

Hi .....All I have been going to Ultratune Rockdale for many many years and many Vehicle emergencies
I want to let everyone know if you go ask for Joe...he looks and sounds like a shonky guy from a New York Brooklyn Bronx movie...however wot he has forgotten about service and Vehicle maintenances isn't worth remembering
I as of yesterday picked up my Old Old Old Corolla and it completely sh.....t itself in middle of Friday last peak hour traffic Sth Dowling St 3.00pm....he advised me over phone wot to do..got the car to him and Wallah...its like Aladdins magic carpet once agin...its roaring along...serviced fixed and magical,,,,if your wondering where to take your Car...pet...Take it to Joe at Ultratune Rockdale Service with a smile PLUS

NEVER AGAIN

Used Ultra Tune as they quoted much cheaper that our usual service provider (NEVER AGAIN).

- After the service, I found that they left the sump oil cover/plate off.

- I called them and they said, yes, it seems it was left off and thrown out. They said to bring it in and they will put one on, at no cost.

- Once they replaced it I decided to check that they actually did and to my amazement they had cut sheet metal to fit the shape of the cover/plate.

- I called them again questioning why wasn’t an original one used and they said one can be ordered if I want, which of course I did (Why wasn’t this done in the first place).

They also offer a roadside assistance with the service and unfortunately we had to use them not long after the service.

- Wife got a flat at work and called them.

- The guy jacked the car up and some how the car fell off the jack (Lucky the wheel was still on).

- The wife got a bit upset at him and he said calm down.

- The wife told him to put the spare in the back of the car (Not on the wheel carrier) as we would get it fixed the same day.

- He totally ignored her and put the flat tyre on the wheel carrier.

- Now, it maybe just a coincidence, however as he was tightening the nuts, the plastic wheel cover the wheel rests on cracked. Also, when the tyre repairer tried to take one of the nuts off, the bolt snapped as the nut was cross threaded.

So in the end, they denied all responsibility to our claim and we ended up $500/$600 out of pocket because of their incompetence.

Recently had my car serviced at Kempsey…

Recently had my car serviced at Kempsey Ultra Tune. Three days later thought I’d just pop the bonnet and check things. Just as well as the brake fluid reservoir cap was sitting lodged next to the radiator fluid container. In other words they forgot to put the cap back on....
Lucky it was not lost.
Unfortunately you will need to check all reservoir caps to ensure they get repositioned post service!

I took my Audi A6 diesel turbo. For service

I took your. Audi A6 in for a service at Lake Haven and
They find a lot of major work that need t be done I am o happy that they told me about all of this as I have only had it for 2 months so am going to take it back to the dealer for them to fix everything
Thank you lake haven for your very help-full advice and very good service you conduct I will always use you for any thing with my Audi from now on

Guys are kidding

Guys are kidding, anyone leaving a positive review is an idiot. Got a quote from them that was over one hundred dollars more expensive on just the part. A part that retails to the pubic for $220.00 was marked up to over $320.00.
Total joke, cancelling bookings last minute and ringing people at 5am to get business is what you get with this thieving lot.

Thank you ultra tune slacks creek Qld

I recently brought a car and 2days later engine light came on my 2011 holden commodore, rang ultra tune to see if they able to look at my car today 3/2/21. And were happy to do so without any hesitations. scanned my car for them to tell me it was coming up as a fuel issue and may have been the unleaded i put in that caused it instead premium quality. I was so relieved the team at slacks creek were able to fix the engine light comimg up for me straight away and even explain it all to me what may have happened. ultra tune slacks creek team especially the manager were so accomadating, proffesional, pleasant, very helpful and oitstanding customer service. To the extent that i went to pay for great work done. for the manager to turn around and say to me there's no charge and that he wasnt charging me for it. i was so shocked to hear that yet so greatful as i have never had that happen to me before..but once again thank you so much ultra tune and..yes i will be back to see you again when my service on my car is due.. great shout out to ultra tune slacks creek highly recommmend..

Pretty disappointed

Pretty disappointed with ultra tune. We booked our car in with an oil leak it took them 5 days to do the sump gasket and when we got it back it was still leaking oil so we put it back in to find out where it was leaking from my wife picked it up and they said they would email me about the problem after asking twice and 3 weeks later they sent me the previous invoice that had in small writing "looks like oil leaking from oil cooler". And being told it wouldn't be any more than $1000 and when we picked it up it was just over $1300. We booked our car in to fix the oil leaking and they didn't fix the problem.

Useless

Don’t go here. They damage your vehicle and then want you to pay for what they did. Have had two vehicles damaged while here and won’t use them again. Avoid at all costs. Their are better and more affordable places to go then here.

Had my vehicle service November 2020…

Had my vehicle service November 2020 this than stopped working a month later. I was offered no warranty on the service. And had to pay for my own towing. Never use this company again. No integrity compassion and unprofessional at best! Everybody beware!!!! My vehicle was running fine before the service! So people are not stupid. Take your money to some people who back up the work. Buyers beware!!! As a x committee member of my trade this is inappropriate and unprofessional!!
