Broken Items Upon Arrival
It was great and very convenient to have bedding, towels, and a basic kitchen kit waiting at my housing when I arrived. What wasn't great was that one of the bowls and one of the plates was broken when I opened the box, meaning that I only ended up getting half of the dining set I had paid for. It is a shame that the kit wasn't packed more carefully.

Horrible Dont buy please !
Horrible one plate was broken everything is so low quality, the bedding stain my face blue and in the washer machine turns everything blue, the hangers are broken after 2 weeks of use ! The crockery now is black ! The only good thing of the kit is the potato peeler ! And you can find everything more cheaper in Temu or SHEIN or even in a local store ! I don’t recommend at all ! Is a burglary!

Ideal for those having to travel by plane
Great choices of quality items and great after sales service. Something was broken on delivery and a refund or replacement was offered, Would recommend, especially good for us as we had to travel by plane from the Channel Islands.

Not the value I was expecting
UPDATE: I've been contacted by the UniKitOut team and they take their review's seriously. I was refunded for the products that were damaged and with what I had most complaints about. Their customer service is great and with some adjustments to the quality of the products they could do really well.
I would say that it is a complete ripoff. The cheapest quality products you can imagine. The bedding is completely synthetic, which is non-breatheable and makes you constantly sweat during the night. Very strong chemical smell. Kitchen towel is not absorbing water at all and leaving cloth residue even after washing it twice. On top of that, one of the plates and bowls were broken when I opened the package. Do not recommend.

Communication was good I suppose, but ultimately just screwed me around for a business week when in the meantime I didn’t have any bedding, would be good ordered this maybe a month in advance

You’re right, your parcel was delayed with DPD for about 24 hours, so it didn’t arrive on the day you requested. They tried to deliver the next day, but unfortunately no one was available to accept it, so it was sent back to the local depot for another delivery attempt the following day.
By that time, you’d already asked us to cancel the order, so we did that straight away for you. We completely understand how stressful this must have been, especially as a new student just arriving in a new city and needing your bedding essentials sorted quickly.
We genuinely did everything we could to try and get it delivered to you on time, but sadly the courier let us down on this occasion.
I really appreciate the fact you acknowledged our communication, this will mean a lot to the customer care team.

Misleading
Comedy of errors and big bold claims on their website fully stating.
"As we work with most Universities in the UK, we can arrange pre-arrival delivery, meaning your student essentials will be ready & waiting for you when you arrive.
No extra luggage charges & no refused parcels = No hassle."
Ordered on the 8th for delivery on the 11th for my sister in law who's travelling 4500 miles to be at uni. she's arrived to nothing...
This means extra hassle, more money,major inconvenience.
You clearly don't work closely enough with your delivery partner DPD.
Your not as comprehensive as you think you are.
And absolutely should not be making claims like above when you cannot fulfil them.
I've reached out on multiple emails, left my number, even offered to pick up directly. Sh*show.
