Awful customer service - the worst
Awful customer service.
I bought a pair of leggings and the seam is coming apart. I have written to customer service numerous times, provided everything they have requested - photos and original receipt and emailed constantly for a month and still no further forward for a return or exchange! Would never purchase from this company again! Shocking
Terrible Customer Service
Terrible Customer Service! Ordered a lightweight Autumn/Spring puffer jacket last October. I was initially pleased with it though I did note the rather flimsy zip at the time. I wore it intermittently over the winter and put it away in April. When I got it out again in the following October, the zip broke on first wearing...a month inside the 12 month cut off point for faulty goods. Well, Customer Services were having none of it; rejected my claim for redress because I had removed the Care Label! Then, after they twice 'reviewed' it, again rejected my claim for a replacement or partial refund, because it was 'just wear and tear'! Despite me repeatedly reminding them of UK Consumer Act 2015 which says goods should be 'fit for purpose' even if beyond the 12 month period, and reminding them that I had actually only worn it for 3-4 months, they refused to budge. This item was bought to replace an M&S one that had lasted 5 or 6 years! So, my only redress is to publicise their shocking service (one star only) and try CA when I get time. Not what I expected from a suppposedly 'quality' retailer.
Terrible service
This was definitely one of the worse online shopping experiences of my life.
Purchased a birthday gift 2 weeks before the date and never received it! The tracking isn't moving and they won't refund me! I am still waiting for my money and now I have to buy another gift!!!!!!!!!!!! Only way to contact their CS is via Live Chat, no number! Terrible service.
Do not shop online!!!
Really disappointed with how difficult Uniqlo’s return process is. I expected better from such a big brand — it shouldn’t take multiple steps and long waits just to return something. Hoping they fix this soon.
Terrible customer services - No refund no replies
I returned my whole order as the clothes did not fit right. The parcel was received as stated on tracking but no refund. Keep having to speak to different customer services representatives and explain the situation. One person will tell me they received it and another that they didn't despite proof of delivery. I have also provided post office receipt. Not sure what to do £200 out of pocket.
No parcel and radio silence from customer service
Wish I had read these reviews before ordering! I see I’m not the only one who hasn’t received a parcel and not getting help or refund from customer service, which is absolutely unacceptable and appalling.
I ordered more than two weeks ago and was promised delivery last Thursday, which never happened and the tracking is stuck. So seemed like Evri lost the parcel. I contacted Uniqlo and they said they would do a full investigation and to allow 5 working days. Well it’s been more than 5 working days and I have heard NOTHING from the company. So unacceptable to take your money, not deliver the product and then not bother contacting you. Never experienced this from a company before.
This was my first time and will be my last time ordering with Uniqlo - would urge everyone else to stay away too!
I think the clothes are great quality…
I think the clothes are great quality but I'm starting to notice more items from synthetic materials. It would be great if they would stick to using more organic materials.
It seems like UNIQLO is consciously…
It seems like UNIQLO is consciously misleading its clients. The return policy is so unclear, the website description for luxemburgish, and probably, most european clients leads them to believe the returns are free. And Uniqlo is well aware of the fact that the description of return process on their website is incoherent and provides conflicting information, I spoke to their helpline today and it is exactly what they said. So if you order based on the conviction that returnes are free, you will be unpleasantly surprised when you have to return some of the items. In addition, the e-mail I received to confirm the return stated that the return fee will be deducted later and indicated that there is a choice of currier services I have. Which again transpired to be a lie. I have an impression that the whole process is designed by Uniqlo to discouraged its clients from returning the items they are not happy with...
Don’t bother ordering for delivery.
I’ve never experienced such an unhelpful delivery service from any retailer! Although Uniqlo obviously use a 3rd party courier it is ultimately Uniqlo’s choice of their delivery service terms with DPD. Combined with Uniqlo’s own customer service this was a poor experience. I received the message about my DPD delivery timeslot only 2 minutes before the start of that timeslot. When I clicked their tracking link to try rearrange/leave safe place instructions, no options were available other than to rearrange delivery date. The courier was unable to leave the package at all. I emailed Uniqlo customer service to explain this and that I couldn’t rearrange a delivery date - DPD won’t provide a specific time slot and I have commitments meaning I am out of my house for some time every day. Uniqlo customer service responded only to confirm this and offered no help at all to get the order delivered to me!
In the end I was forced to choose a redelivery on a date which was my only day off from work this month, cancelling other plans in order to wait at home for this delivery. I had explained this situation directly to Uniqlo so their lack of empathy in the response along with their lack of capacity to offer a solution was a really poor experience.
Do not use online ordering!
Although the products themselves are good, ordering online is difficult and time consuming and i could only finally make the order with the help of someone else. Once ordered, the delivery was also difficult as when the parcel arrived we were asked for a pin code which we hadn’t received. So they took the parcel away until the following day when we could work out where the pin code was. Incredibly frustrating and not only a wasted journey for the driver and me not receiving my parcel, its seems another unnecessary journey for the environment. Parcels can longer be left with neighbours etc so you must be in. It’s madness. I would shop in store as i like the products but ordering online AVOID!!
Victim of the terrible delivery polic.y…
Victim of the terrible delivery polic.y I am glad to see I am not alone. DPD tried to deliver twice, two days running. We were not there to receive, so they automatically sent back the order without giving any options for delivery to nearby store, neighbour, or time and date that works. If you are someone who works or who even sometimes leaves your house you might as well not bother ordering anything online. I now see I will also be charged for a 'return' which I never made. Disastrous and surprising for such a seemingly good company. So many stores deliver satisfactorily online and this is a huge part of their business to make this customer-friendly. Until they make changes it is worth avoiding.
Terrible delivery policy!
I love Uniqlo. So much of stuff is brilliant for wardrobe staples. But why oh why oh why have they changed their delivery policy? You now have to be in the house to take delivery of the parcel. DPD is their courier and their contract with Uniqlo means that they will only deliver on weekdays and won’t leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour. So if you work full time Monday-Friday, you literally can’t order from this company. It’s an absolute waste of DPD drivers’ time, driving around to houses that they can’t deliver to. They try to deliver twice and then send your order back to the warehouse for a refund. I can’t get my head around how this can even be close to a good business model for the company. Uniqlo must be losing so many sales, not to mention customers who are hugely frustrated with this utterly ridiculous delivery policy. In this day and age, Uniqlo really need to do better.
My order was never delivered
My order was never delivered — it got stuck with the courier, and I received no updates whatsoever. When I contacted customer support to enquire about it, they simply cancelled the order without making any effort to contact the courier or investigate the issue. The order was already in my town, and they still instructed for it to be returned. The agents were unhelpful and need better customer support training.
An absolute waste of time dealing with Uniqlo. Do yourself a favour and avoid ordering from them — it’s just not worth the hassle or the unnecessary carbon footprint.
Requiring a pin for delivery is absurd
Requiring a pin for delivery is absurd, listen to your customers & do better Uniqlo.
horrific customer care...
horrific customer care.... they simply do not care about customer and probably never heard of customer relationship...... never order online from them
horrible
horrible. I wasn't home to receive the DPD delivery and had no reception in the tube. They drove away never to return. No transparency. No delivery. No costumer service. Avoid at any price.
Terrible experience
I didn’t realise when I placed the order that I had to be at home to receive it, no option. No option for it to be left in a safe place etc, no option to collect from a pickup point. It was DPD and someone had to be in to give a code. I work full time - after the first failed attempt, I tried to change the delivery to my work place, or to a weekend, but neither option was available. So I had to cancel my order but they have taken my money and I won’t get a refund until they get the parcel back. Absolutely terrible, and inexcusable in this day and age where everything can be so flexible.
Customer service is poor
Customer service is poor, delivery process is a shambles. Just use ASOS or Arne, both far better, easier and cheaper!
Missing Items, No help from customer service — Saved Only by Klarna
Long-time Uniqlo customer here — shocked by nightmare customer service experience. My online order arrived with several items missing. Package was intact, yet customer service insisted their “weight check” proved all items were included. They refused to provide real proof and implied I was the faulty one. It was like talking to robots who only insisted on doing what they were pre-programmed to do.
Only thanks to Klarna reviewing the evidence was I refunded. Without them, I’d have paid for items I never received. Given Uniqlo’s 1.6 Trustpilot rating, I’m clearly not alone. If you shop online, use a payment service with buyer protection and check your parcels immediately.
This company is an absolute nightmare
This company is an absolute nightmare. I placed an order and received multiple items missing. Their “customer service” is a joke — they deny any responsibility, refuse to provide any proof of delivery, and hide behind empty corporate jargon. It’s like talking to a brick wall.
They clearly don’t care about their customers or their money. I paid good money and got ripped off. The blatant dishonesty and refusal to fix the problem is shocking and infuriating.
If you want to waste your time, money, and energy dealing with a company that treats you like garbage, go ahead and shop here. Otherwise, steer clear at all costs.
UNIQLO, you should be ashamed of how you treat your customers. This was the worst buying experience I have ever had — a complete scam.
