Let my battery run down and could not recharge it. The Unistellar support team offered to replace the battery even though it was my misunderstanding of how to manage the battery and keep it healthy. Really appreciated the fast response, frequent updates and quick willingness to step in and send a replacement battery. Excellent support from the Unistellar team.

I had a minor glitch getting my iPhone to connect and “talk” to the Odyssey Pro. After contacting customer support, Anna was right there. Issue resolved. A few days later, had a Zoom meeting with Anna and she answered my nitpicking questions about the scope. A real pleasure.

I have been an observer for many years using an 8" SCT telescope and living in a Bortle 6 suburb of the Twin Cities Minnesota. With the SCT, I could barely observe a half dozen Deep Sky Objects from that location. With the eVscope2 and within 2-3 months I have observe and capture images of 74 galaxies and Nebulae. All right from my front porch. The interface is very easy and the Unistellar support team has been excellent and very responsive. I still however use SkySafari to find out where the object is in the sky and then go back and point eVscope to it. I would highly recommend this telescope.

First couple of months I used it myself due to husbands travel schedule. I figured it had to be user error. He assumed so to since so many positive reviews. So wrong...
Tracking Issues: The telescope consistently failed to track and locate the correct positions in the sky. Even when trying to view easily identifiable objects such as Orion, the telescope could not locate them accurately.
Focusing Problems: The telescope would not focus properly, resulting in blurry and unusable images.
Eclipse Viewing Failure: During a recent eclipse, the telescope failed to operate correctly, confirming that the issues were not due to user error.
My exciting birthday gift was a complete flop. We were excited to use it for the eclipse. Thank god we took our large Mede telescope. As you can tell I'm pretty upset, I purchase a lot of high end items and this is my first review I have ever given. I don't like giving a bad review however this one is so deserved.

Loved the concept of the Unistellar scope, design when it arrived, etc. Unfortunately its key features of finding and tracking are extremely limited and poorly implemented. In addition the photos (the main reason for buying) are nowhere near the advertised quality once calibrated per their instructions. Back and forth with their tech support ended in "oh well" attitude. I'd highly recommend not spending the $3500+ on this product.

Help with updating firmware: I initially contacted Unistellar Customer Care Team with respect to an update issue I was experiencing with the firmware on the telescope. I was unable to update the firmware v3.1 to v3.2, the app updated but the telescope would not. After a few ping pong emails to Samy at Unistellar, where various fixes were suggested and attempted, it was determined that the root cause was a faulty SD card, after a few weeks, this arrived and following the 'how to replace' guide, a successful update was achieved straightaway.
Throughout the month long process, I was consistently treat in an extremely respectful and courteous manner, emails were replied to promptly and the advice given very clear. So a big thank you to Unistellar and to Customer Care Team - Samy.

My Evscope had bricked due to battery issues. An urgent email to customer services at Unistellar resulted in a very informative reply within 72 hours. Following the instructions resulted in a fully charged battery and my scope is as good as new.

I returned the Unistellar backpack because I wanted to buy a Pelican hard case instead to use when I travel by air.
It was easy to return the backpack and Unistellar refunded my money. It was an easy process

The staff at UNISTELLAR are very responsive. Unlike many bit run organizations, they hear you and do their best to fulfill your needs. I told them I needed my solar filter before the eclipse and they made sure I got it. That’s customer service!

Anna has been with me every step of the way. I won a Unistellar Equinox 2 from a charity raffle. The only problem is that it didn't come with any of the essential parts like the tripod, dust cap, charger and tool kit. Anna has been helping me for about two weeks now (since March 30th,2024), getting me all of the correct parts and making my telescope useable! I also had various other questions that were swiftly answered and helped me to understand my telescope more. If you want top tier guest service, then you have come to the right place. I absolutely recommend doing business with Unistellar. It is rare to find a company that cares about their guests these days (looking at you Google customer service), but Unistellar definitely does! They have made me feel like I am part of a family and I am absolutely happy with the service that they have provided :)

My telescope is clear for the moon and the sun, but everything else seems to be blurry even when I focus on the planets I’ve tried to refocus the telescope several times following all the directions and yet it still seems the same way clear close up everything else blurry

First, I have been very happy with my Unistellar telescope. Connected to a tablet I use it at star parties along with another telescope. The Unistellar telescope is a tremendous for introducing astronomy to people. Secondly, I stored my telescope for too long and the battery apparently went "to sleep" and didn't want to charge. Samy, my customer care representative gave me all of the instructions to bring my telescope back to life. This is a tremendous product with great customer support.

I've been observing the sky for over 40 years with various telescopes, done a lot of astrophotography. But over the years, getting the big scope out has become more and more tedious (it is heavy, cold out there and clouds roll in...). And then came the eVscope2. In 2 min, you start seeing nebulas, galaxies, clusters like you've never been able to see them. Where I used to do 1 or 2 observations a year, I'm now observing several times a months. As soon as the sky clears up, I take the evscope2 out because it is now so easy. I've also recently acquired an Odyssey Pro which is even easier to operate (autofocus, no collimation needed). It also has better resolution on planets (but for deep sky, the evscope2 is unbeatable). Finally and that's on my to-do, I look forward to participate in the citizen science program (detection of exoplanets, asteroid occultations etc). Put simply, I'm back at enjoying my astronomy hobby! Don't hesitate to be amazed
