Anna provided excellent customer…

Anna provided excellent customer service. I had a rough start with my original scope due to a battery issue. She made everything right and stayed in touch throughout the process. Other companies large and small could learn from this example.

Concierge service from Unistellar

Anna was so helpful in helping me make a plan for delivery in another state to see the annular eclipse in TX. She also gave me links to some articles that I could read before I even received my telescope to help my preparation. I cannot say enough good things about the level of service she provided me with our purchase.

Ease of use

Ease of use, instructions online, and tool for community science make using our Evccope2 a great experience. The scope, backpack, and solar filter work well.

Dear Shantanu, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we have not received any support requests in the past 4 months so we don't know which calibration you feel you need help with. Is it sensor calibration? Or focus or collimation? Our Expert range needs to be adjusted as any other telescope out there, however, those who have difficulties can always reach out, we offer personalized support. Best wishes.

Difficult return process

Quite a process to return the unit under the 30 day policy. They are now claiming that I should have factory reset it before returning. At no time was that information shared with me before i packed it up and returned it.

I reached out to the U of M

I reached out to the U of M to figure out what kind of Telescope would serve my needs. They pointed me to Unistellar. It was the perfect choice for a person like me. I can find incredible things in the sky and I have no previous training in astronomy. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic Customer Service

My telescope is working great now

My telescope is working great now! When I received it new, the battery was completely dead and would not even charge. A replacement was sent and I love it now! It's taking great images of the nebulas and galaxies.

Great scope

Great scope, but it’s a bit of a learning curve since the manuals are very light on needed information. Once it’s set up, however, it’s so easy to see amazing things in the sky. Tech support is a bit difficult since they’re on a totally different time zone, so it takes a day or so.

Seems like a miracle

I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and have been using telescopes for the last 30 years. I have had an obsession 20 which I drove to a dark side in Redding PA and also went to a dark sky in Arizona. I have visually never been able to see the spiral arms of any Galaxy and most visual observations have been a disappointment. The Unisellar Odessy seems like a miracle. It takes literally about 5 minutes to set the telescope up and I could remain inside in a warm room and watch objects appear on my phone that I never dreamed of ever being able to see in real-time. I will never go back to the old way of viewing and I'm committed to selling my Celestron telescope and all the I pieces that I have accumulated over the years.

No solar filter

First I bought the Equinox 2, then the Odyssey Pro. Collimation of the Equinox 2 is really too tedious. I've had good experiences with the odyssée pro. However, it is too sensitive to vibrations. Just after my purchase, a solar filter was offered with one purchase. I bought two telescopes without receiving anything.

We are striving to help, however, your disappointment can't be guessed, alas.

As with many other telescopes, our products are sensitive to vibrations, and Unistellar cannot control your environment. If you need help with your collimation, we are happy to give a hand. All the best to you.

The entire app update was a mess

The entire app update was a mess. Initially I could not connect to my scope and eventually rebooted 15 times to clear the network so that I could connect. Bluetooth does not work even in the latest update and it still takes too much time to connect via WiFi

Thank you for your review. As we advised 2.5 months ago via a service request, you should not have connected your telescope with your Bluetooth settings on your device. You had to follow the steps described in the Help Center. If you still have issues, please contact our support again, as your last ticket was closed at the beginning of February. All the best.

eVscope equinox - firmware out of date

I have an equinox which I bought two and half years ago, but I ended up moving homes and the scope has been in a box for best part of time. Finally got it out to use and the v.3 app wouldn't connect with the scope. Tried everything but no joy so emailed Unistellar. We had a bit of back/forwards on it, but in the end they sent me an SD card with firmware for the scope which I installed upon receipt. Result - scope back up and running and working (so far) well with the app. So thank you Unistellar for helping get this one sorted.

Great scope, great service, great company

I love my Evscope 2 and I have several very nice other scopes to compare it to. This is super quality and easy to use. And as many other reviews mentioned, customer service is excellent and Anna was wonderful. I really believe she and the team were concerned about making sure I was well served. Well done!!

Excellence in Customer Service.

There were some frustrating problems at the start of the purchase and I was not happy. But Anna at Unistellar took ownership of my concerns, showed me what had happened and then made the purchase process smooth sailing. Customer service of the highest order!
