A fantastic telescope, allowing le to see deep nebulas, galaxies of all size with perfect definition, moon, jupiter, saturn, and much more in the deep sky. More of that the Odysee can be carrying in a smal bagpack and take in cabin for fly ! For me the best product i’ve ever seen for a Telescope experience !

My evscope is now a £4,000 doorstop as Unistellar introduced DDT to their processing which effectively renders the scope unusable for further processing of images . Look at any of the Facebook pages for lists of complaints and Unistellar refusing to address the issue. If you want a smart scope then do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Just a footnote. Unistellar have been in touch. Their response has been positive and hopefully in the not too distant future my conemcerns will be addressed . I’ll post another review at a later date .

I received my scope, read the manual, and tried to power it on. No response and it is supposed to arrive charged. I tried multiple times to get the battery charged to no avail. I contacted support and was promptly in touch with Samy. He was excellent and very prompt in responding and obtaining results. I had a mail voucher quickly and sent it out to tech services for repair. I did get it back quickly and in working order. It arrived back without the protective cap and they promptly sent me a new one. I also asked for an updated warranty and applied to the date of return after the service on the scope. This was done without any questions. So I am very pleased with the service support. I have not used it yet but did get the unit and phone wifi/bluetooth operating without any trouble.

I ordered telescope by mistake. Long story... But Samy and Unistellar let me return it, no questions asked. I'm not recommending this approach, but I soon will be buying an EVScope!

I had an error with the startup process, with the Equinox2 freezing during startup. The team not only responded quickly, they sent a shipping label fast so I could ship back, fixed the problem quickly, and were in constant contact during the entire support. The support felt very personable, almost like they were personallly aware of my issue and helping me fix it step by step. Problem was resolved, and I have the Equinox 2 back and am processing new images.

For me it is important that people know that in addition to the UNISTELLAR ESCAPEv2 being EXCEPTIONAL and FANTASTIC as a product, the assistance of the Technical Support operators is also EXCEPTIONAL and FANTASTIC. Great competence, kindness, speed and availability for every request!!!!

Great little goto scope, turnkey operation, great app, great citizen science programs where your data contributes.
I've got version 1 of the scope, have used it several years now. Support is excellent but a bit slow. Wind can be a killer though, but not often, if they'd tighten the altitude slew gears to prevent wind vibration it'd be near perfect as an outreach scope or just to view the night.

Unistellar not only produces a superior telescope that does everything it promises to do, but their customer support and technical repair team is top-notch. They repaired a telescope that had been damaged at one of our student lab sessions in a very short period of time and did so at a VERY reasonable cost to our Physics and Astronomy department.

As an officer in a popular astronomy club in New Jersey, we try to bringva variety of viewing options during public observing events. The club purchased the 1st gen Unistellar telescope. It rounds out our visual offerings to the public. Galaxies and nebulae look fantastic. Our unit has been very dependable using Android based devices. It has proved its worth time and time again. Looking forward to many more years of making the public enjoy viewing DSO's in amazing detail.

Very good customer service that actually listens to problems and provides solutions that are mindful of having a longterm continuing relationship with customers.

I recently ordered and received a equinox2/backpack and had a question for support with an almost immediate response and answer from Samy.

This is my first telescope and like it says on the box "Prepare to be amazed", I was! After waiting two days for the weather I was able to get it out, set it up and begin viewing in no time. Living close to downtown Indianapolis I was amazed at what I could see. Also it was nice sitting back in a chair and controlling it from my phone not having to worry about bumping into the tripod. Also with wearing glasses not having to take them off or contort myself to look into to look into the eyepiece.

I’ve had an eVscope since the very beginning — 2020. It’s still going strong and has delivered many amazing performances. I live in a semi urban environment and I’ve easily seen the entire Messier catalog. I’ve tracked down small satellites for my professional groups. I’ve used it numerous times at star parties and it’s a big hit. I even caught the JWST on its way to orbit. It’s like a great hunting dog. I highly recommend it. It’s my “on ramp” to the deep universe.

I got my eVscope II about 18 months ago. I have been out observing more in that time than my previous 5 years combined. I’m selling most of my other telescopes, as I just don’t use them any more. I love the size and weight, and the fact it all fits into a well padded backpack. Setup and takedown is simple and fast. It’s very easy to use. I got decent pictures the first night out and I’ve gotten better ones as I learned the best ways to use the scope.

I agree with the comment made earlier about the eyepiece and outreach. I can have the image on a big tv screen right next to the scope and everyone is lined up to look through the eyepiece. I gave up trying to explain it was just another screen. That’s what observing the stars is to most folks; looking at them through an eyepiece.

I don’t think the all-in-one EA market will replace traditional observing and astrophotography, but it is the way of the future for many new astronomers.

My eVscope II has put the fun back in stargazing for me! Oh. And I love contributing to the Citizen Science projects! I’ve been listed as a co-author on several papers written by the scientists at SETI/Unistellar, including being published in Nature magazine. It’s a fantastic telescope!

I've owned a Unistellar eVscope 1 since 2020, a eVscope 2, and recently the Milwaukee Astronomical Society also purchased a new eVscope 2 for members and outreach at our non-profit observatory which customer support helped us through purchasing as an organization. Our members and the public absolutely love the scope. Personally, as the caretaker for these scopes, user for over 130 scientific observations (thanks for digging up that data too via customer support), and educator on the usage, I want to say that the level support I've received from Anna and team at Unistellar has been above and beyond what I've seen from any telescope company. Their customer service engages with the community via multiple channels, and is always patient with requests for data, specifications questions or unique questions that set a telescope and SETI-affiliated company apart from any other telescope manufacturer. They've been accomodating toward longterm users like me as well, and will support you with parts needs or questions if something arises. As a user of the scope, their community model toward citizen science has been extremely inclusive and is refreshing to engage with members of the company in such a way, as an extension of their customer support which is truly inclusive. But, going back to Anna and the support team, they are incredibly responsive for the volume of questions they get, they understand the product perfectly and know how to get answers if you need it. Well done.

Exceptionally good support. Very fast professional and not just predefined answers that solve the problem. The support is always ready to answer questions aside from technical support and really tries to find a solution. It does not get any better than this. Very well deserved 5 Points.

I requested Fits files and they came the next business day, ahead of schedule. Very fast and efficient.

My eVscope had a battery problem (it was DOA). I submitted a trouble ticket and received a reply shortly after submittal. The tech was Samy, who provided me with excellent service and feedback. Samy arranged to get a new battery pack shipped to me and provided me with links to instructions on how to uninstall the old battery and install the new battery. Excellent service!

Talk about going above and beyond. Unistellar rasied the bar on exceptional customer service. I recently knocked over my telescope and was devastated. It wasn’t working correctly and I thought that I was simply out of luck. I asked for support, perhaps it could be repaired? I sent them videos, descriptions, and ultimately shipped it to a repair location in the US. The instructions for shipping and expectations for repair were clear. After they tried to repair it, it was left with a terrible noise when its motor would move to a desired location. They sent me a video, letting me know. And then without any prompting, decided to send me a completely refurbished telescope. It was like getting back a brand new telescope! Wow. I was simply overjoyed. The first day I got it back, I saw the great Orion Nebula. Also, during the repair period, there was an annual sale on a new scope. I purchased a replacement scope in the event the repair was not possible. But they assured me that I could send the new one back, no questions asked. They honored their word. I could say it took longer than expected in the end, but my goodness, it was worth the wait x 100. Thank you Unistellar. You have restored my faith in what an innovative caring company can do!!

Bought a lightly used scope on ebay and seller showed me good images.

A problem caused by misuse (by me) was diagnosed by Unistellar and the problem resolved at no charge and to my complete satisfaction.
