Easy to use and incredible are understatements.

Sold my wonderful 125mm refractor and GEM to purchase a Unistellar eVscope 2. Absolutely no regrets. Light pollution around my home is bad and getting worse every day. This made seeing any deep sky objects nearly impossible. This fact combined with the lengthy time to set up/break down the former system made me reluctant to use it. In contrast, the eVscope 2 literally takes about 5 minutes to set up and start observing. My first target: M82 (the Cigar Galaxy). Bingo - there it is!! Despite all the annoying festoon lighting around me, I now have a telescope that works for me. And the portability (via the backpack) can't be beat.

This telescope is easy to set up and use. The images are stunning and a wow factor when sharing with others. I have tried using a 8 inch Celestron but this is much better. It is easy to carry and configuring to the night sky is simple with a push of a button on your phone or tablet. It is also great and easy to share with others as they can simply connect into the WiFi system. I have not tried imagining the planets yet so I don’t know how it works on them. It great for galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. highly recommend this scope.

I love my eVscope 2. It is the perfect telescope for me. I am not an accomplished astronomer, so all of the automatic features are perfect for me. I can concentrate on viewing and not get caught up in spending a lot of time in technical setup and details. I also love that I can share photos with friends. I only have one modest thought. I would dearly like to be able to use a WiFi extender so I can put the telescope farther away from my house. I know there are some people who have done this, but I have not been able to make it work. I can get the extender to talk to the eVscope, but I can't get the app to talk to the WiFi extender. It would be great if Unistellar provided a solution for this problem. I know a lot of people who want to do this.

I questioned the black ring around my images and got a fast response that it was normal. It is that.

I have been in astronomy for 30 years. I am a NASA Solar System Ambassador. I have had several telescopes. A dome with a 14 meade and a 17 Dob skywatcher. I sold them both a bought your telescope.i was skeptical about your telescope. I am very pleased with your integrated telescope. Great job.

I started with an eV1 from participation in Unistellar's first fundraiser. I found the eVscope to be quick in setup for an evening's view--about 5 minutes. Images of many nebulas and galaxies are quite satisfying. I decided to purchase the eVscope 2 primarily due to the wider field of view and greater resolution. This decision was well worth the investment. You are not going to get the image quality that you would with a complicated astrophotography setup. Never-the-less, I have gotten eVscope images that are, in my opinion, worth framing. I have even sold framed images in a local gallery. You will find that the more you image with the eVscope, the better you will become at producing good images of nebulas, galaxies, and the moon.

Against all odds, Unistellar has made a truly incredible, revolutionary product. It is both the easiest, most enjoyable, most powerful telescope that I have ever owned or used, and the simple joy of looking at the images it produces was worth every penny spent - and that's not including the hard science that it is also capable of doing. Unistellar's support, both through its involvement in a growing community of users, as well as it's customer service, is impressive. No regrets whatsoever.

My original tripod did not have a bubble level when it arrived. I contacted customer service and they quickly sent me an entire new tripod (not just the level)!

Unistellar team is a great bunch of excellent professionals who respond very quickly to one's inquiries. They are knowledgeable and are always willing to help. Their product is amazing.

So far, so good. But, one big reason for my purchase was the prospect of being able to download raw image files for better processing. There is a huge advantage to being able to work with raw files, but as far as I know there is neither the capability nor an estimated timeline for the enhancement.

Easy to get amazing pictures of deep space objects in minutes!
Set up is straightforward if you watch the videos.
The backpack makes it reasonable to get to a good viewing area.
The algorithm for stacking the images is quite good.
The menu for finding targets is great.
I took away one star for two features the competition has that Unistellar really should implement: the ability to directly download the RAW/FITS images; and the ability to plan out targets in advance ("Plan My NIght").

A latch on the tripod broke and Unistellar promptly replaced it for us, not asking any questions about why or how it broke. That is great customer care in my opinion. I love the EVscope 2 for public outreach. The audiences are always highly impressed and have seen views never seen before.

I have been into amateur astronomy since the age of 8 (69 now). I saw more in great detail my first night out with the EV2 than I ever have with my other scopes. So simple to set up and use. I love it!

Love the telescope! Fantastic piece of equipment! The app could be better though. I wish it were more like celestrons app. The Sufi could be better. Sometimes it takes a little while to get it connected to the WiFi. But once up and running it provides some amazing images!!!
