Fun adventure!!! Great directions and info sheets, they provide all the answers before you think of them and they're easily accessible if you choose an off the grid location. Cosy and warm space, again everything is thought of for you!! Absolutely recommend

Amazing, the amenties, location and being able to truly switch off with little to no worries about what to bring was amazing!

Our weekend away in 'Velma' (Tarra Valley in Victoria) was everything we hoped for and more; truly isolated and off the grid, but close enough to Yarram when we needed supplies.

The cabin was absolutely amazing - so well decked out with everything you could need. The outdoor shower, the log-fire heated outdoor hot tub, the hammock, the decking, the campfire, the kitted out kitchen, the clean and tidy bathroom. The list goes on.

The bed was so comfy too (with lush linen) with so much glass to take in the amazing views outside from bed. And we could even bring our pooch!

It was honestly one of the best weekends we have ever had - truly switching off from life and relaxing like we never have.

We can't wait to book a winter one now that we have experienced it in summer!

*the electronic guide supplied before the trip was so helpful too - it ensured we knew how to use everything and how to arrive fully prepared

We had such a wonderful stay at Peggy cabin over the weekend! It was the perfect getaway to disconnect and slow down a little. We absolutely loved that it was pet friendly, and our dog had the best time exploring with us.

We also enjoyed the walks around the property — we even spotted a few kangaroos, which made the experience even more special.

Thank you for such an amazing stay. We would definitely love to come back!

We recently stayed at Dungog in the Jazz cabin .
We loved it ,very clean all mowed just really lovely to stay there .

We drove over to Glouster one day and went to Glouster Tops ,beautiful drive through the country.

I’ve been waiting to go here for ages so was so pleased I finally made it. It was just what I needed - lots of sleep, slow living with all the mod-cons. Lovely view of the coast and really felt I was alone in the woods. With an amazingly empty beach just down the hill. Highly recommended -leave your white sneakers at home 😎

The cabin was delightfully situated, clean, and homely. The view of the river Ravine was spectacular and we very much enjoyed walking in the Property and exploring the very different areas available. We saw plenty of wildlife including many many birds and kangaroos and wallabies, frogs and we spotted a lyre bird from our cabin. The directions were exactly right even though we arrived in dark we found everything easily.

I had been following Unyoked for a year before finally booking my first stay. I’ve always loved the concept, the locations, and the overall experience they promote, and I would still recommend it to friends for those reasons.

However, the level of cleanliness during my stay was extremely disappointing. There was dust everywhere, the hand-gel bottles were empty, the pans were worn out, the mattress had a strong smoke smell, and both the shower and toilet were noticeably dirty, with the shower drainage even damaged. It genuinely felt as though the cabin in Norfolk hadn’t been properly cared for.

I want to believe this doesn’t reflect Unyoked’s usual standards. After I shared my concerns and photos, the team apologized and offered a discount for my next stay, which I appreciate, but given the experience and the expectations set by their online image, I had hoped for a more fitting resolution.

Staying at an Unyoked cabin is the best decision I’ve made in a long time. I went solo to really give myself the chance to recharge. 3 nights was perfect, less would have felt rushed. Everything is there for you with helpful guides so you make the most of the experience.

I was gifted an unyoked prescription and invited my husband to join me on an adventure to Aprilla. We loved the remote location and the uninterrupted view of nature and the sea, including the surf at Johanna. We loved the quality and practicality of the cabin, and the opportunity to relax and walk and read and cook and talk and listen for a couple of days.

Stayed at Colin and it was enjoyable. It was nice just to unyoke - just chilling. Hot tub was amazing to relax in after a hike to the waterfalls. Cabin was clean and loved the bed linen. Will definitely be back.

It was totally excellent. Thoughtful, exactly as it said it would be. The perfect detox. Loved how anti-screen the whole thing was. It was perfect.

We stayed at Aatea, Raglan, NZ. The gravel road to the car park was a bit of a slide but other than that the stay was perfect. From booking, to travel direction and the great field guide provided, it was all really easy and hassle free. The cabin was clean, everything was provided and labelled clearly, the views were amazing and the seclusion was peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Have stayed in the Josef cabin, everything was great - good info about it all, loved the setting, was easy to get to.

Recently stayed in the Lennox cabin and have now realised I should have looked elsewhere for more reviews about the cabins. I realised that even though Unyoked tries to sell every cabin as being the same experience, just a different wilderness location, it really does depend on the host. On the website they say you can get a train and taxi to the cabin, but if you want to stay at Lennox I recommend driving, there are limited cab companies in the area. The guidebook doesn’t recommend any companies in particular (in general it’s unhelpful if you’re not driving there), and booking the day before, we couldn’t find a single company that would take us from Tisbury to the property for less than £80 return. We had a £120 voucher and more than this amount was spent on travel (including our train ticket).

Unyoked says you can leave a small amount of rubbish but this host has labelled the bin saying to take rubbish with you - we thought we’d do the right thing, thinking there would be a bigger bin somewhere (once again no further instruction in the guidebook) - there wasn’t. We ended up with it going into the back of our £40 cab. He helped us find a bin in town to put it into.

Finally, to top it all off, we’ve been charged £10 for firewood we didn’t even use.

I’ve learnt my lesson, don’t stay somewhere where you can’t read reviews about the individual place first. Unyoked isn’t cheap and if you don’t have the best experience like we’ve had it leaves you feeling burnt.

If you’re in the UK, get your friends a Canopy and Stars voucher instead, at least then they’ll be able to read reviews and book a cabin that’s actually right for them.

My husband and I have had two unyoked QLD experiences and loved both! We have experienced serenity, relaxation, made friends with cows and love the privacy and ease of the whole process.

I absolutely loved it. Such beautiful views, adorable stay-in. Loved the personalised unyoked towels and cups. So cute! We are planning it again! I would recommend a fitter person than us though. Lugging our stuff in the trailer was hard but understandable because its off track. Would recommend backpacks and outdoor gear.

Would not recommend unless you bring you own electric stove top and boiling water I spent $700 just for there to be no hot water and the gas bottles were empty be couldn’t cook any of our food and it was raining so we couldn’t even use the fire. When I brought this to their attention we had no assistance and the didn’t offer any type of compensation for the cost it took to drive there and the cost of the cabin alone it was more like spending $800 for a cold box this was for a 2 year anniversary and we left disappointed the staff has not responded to any emails after dismissing my feedback and trust me it wasn’t all negative the views were beautiful but that was were the joy stopped

A fabulous wedding present. Such a relaxing stay. Highlights were dinner cooked on the fire enjoyed with a wine and our tunes playing, the wood fire hot tub by the creek under the stars and fresh ground and brewed coffee with a book and scenic view from our bed.

Phenomenal experience all-round. The team were incredibly easy to deal with and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The cabin - Marama - was spotless. Everything was so clean and well-maintained, it honestly felt like we were checking into a BnB and not a cabin in the middle of nowhere! I do wish I’d had a better understanding of the “spiciness” of the walk out cabin…

The booking was seamless, everything was really beautiful and well thought out. Couldn't recommend Unyoked enough, definitely a really worth while thing to do with your time!
