Some troubles immediately fixed

I had some troubles with my bike, but Upway immediately fixed it and gave me a refund. Their support team is really efficient and very friendly. My next bike will be from Upway as well.

I purchased two e-bikes on Upway in…

I purchased two e-bikes on Upway in April, 2026. These are my first experience shopping for e-bikes and it was a really positive experience. Upway provides lots of good information about e-bikes in general along with specific details about individual e-bikes they sell. Shipping cost was reasonable, packing was excellent and delivery well done. I purchased the second bike a few days after the first and both were shipped to my work address. Upway flagged the second purchase as suspicious so I had to do a video call to verify the purchase. The customer service person I spoke with was very cool and apologetic for the need to verify the purchase. I appreciate the fact that Upway does have safeguards in place for monitoring payment account activity. The two bikes I found were great prices, the descriptions were spot on, and the assembly process was super easy. I would recommend buying an e-bike to anyone who is looking for one.

The purchasing experience on the eshop…

The purchasing experience on the eshop is smooth and straightforward, and the bike itself lives up to expectations.

However, obtaining the homologation certificate from Upway has proven to be a real ordeal. This document is a mandatory requirement to claim the French government subsidy, Upway has been so far unresponsive. This administrative shortcoming significantly undermines the overall experience and, more importantly, prevents customers from accessing financial aid they are legally entitled to.

10 out of 10 !!!

great prices, great support (like really great, they answered my emails super fast even on a saturday, they followed the delivery with me) only regret is that i was never contacted by the delivery service but it's external and it does not depend on Upway, they did the link between me and the delivery service, ansked me when I was available, really ican not insist on how the support was good!

concerning my purchase, it was exactly as mentionned on the site, the fix, technical review, I mean what is there to criticize ? nothing, perfect. Be patient with the delivery, depending on where you are, holidays etc it can take up to 25-30 ddays, but rest assure it means that you're bike is under great care.

Packing is great, they give you tools, an allen key (mine was the wrong size but come on who doesnt have a set at home!)

I had to return an e-bike and was…

I had to return an e-bike and was honestly expecting a complicated process, especially with shipping involved. But the experience with Upway was incredibly smooth.

They received the bike, inspected it quickly, and issued a full refund within a couple of days—no restocking fee and no issues. Communication was clear and professional the whole time.

Given how large and complex e-bike returns can be, I really appreciated how straightforward they made it. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. I’m just waiting for the right bike!

Lowball offers...

They offered me $599 for a bike that is worth at least $1500. I understand that they have to make a profit too and I don't expect them to offer me the full amount of the bike's real value but the difference is huge and is laughable. So I rejected the offer and signed up for notifications if the price changes. A few days later I received an email giving me GOOD NEWS that the offer for my bike is now increased! I opened the email with anticipation only to see that the offer is now upped ot a whopping $600!!! a one dollar increase! Who could reject that, right?? I ignored it... A few weeks later, another email with same subject line and this time the offer was upped to $601! Wow, now we are talking :p This time I clicked on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of their email only to be taken to a page that throws error. Tried the same unsubscribe link on multiple browser, they all throw a security error. This company not only lowballs you, but also has terrible technical systems that can't even handle an unsubscribe link.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Upway.

I sold 11 e-bikes to them, which were delivered and received without any issues. However, more than 5 months later, I still have not received payment.

Throughout this period, I have only received repeated delays and unclear responses regarding pricing adjustments, but no concrete solution or payment.

As a business, this is extremely concerning. Goods have been accepted, but payment has not been made.

I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company, especially in B2B transactions.

Very frustrating experience.

Excellent experience with Upway!

Excellent experience with Upway!

I recently ordered a bike and everything went perfectly from start to finish. The delivery was exactly as promised, with no issues at all. The bike itself is of great quality and fully meets my expectations.

A special mention for the customer service, which is truly outstanding: responsive, helpful, and professional throughout.

It’s rare to have such a smooth and satisfying experience. I highly recommend Upway!

I ordered two bikes

I ordered two bikes, I received my bike in about two days and honestly was a great experience. Unfortunately my wife's bike was tracked to the city we live in but after a few days of no contact I reached out to customer service and it took some correspondence but they gave us hope it was still coming. I was reimbursed the delivery fee which was nice. they said they had reached out to the shipping company.

Finally after another few days I reached out to the shipping company who has informed me that the package is lost and I needed to reach out to upway. how do you lose a package of that size?

The part that is very irritating is the fact is that upway customer service gave us some hope that it was still on it way but obviously is not. The bike was not cheap. I really wanted to like this company because of the experience I had with my bike but unfortunately this has ruined any good part of that experience. I have emailed customer service with the information and screenshots from the shipping company telling me it is lost but have yet to be contacted back. I work in customer service and unfortunately this is not good service for the money spent.

Great deal on the bike and good customer service to boot!

After receiving a Specialized Como 3.0 IGH with both tires having slits in sidewalls I contacted the seller. With some back and forth Upway made right by me by covering the entire cost of having them replaced with new rubber.

Happy with the Como and Upway too for coming to the plate and making things right.
