I followed Upwork instructions on canceling a contract because it was inaccurate in the scope of work, but Upwork denied the cancelation and paid the contract and provided no services in return. It seems the entire company is a scam. Avoid at all cost!

Been six years on Upwork, Top Rated, and earned thousands of dollars on the platform alone. Upwork changed my life completely. If you have a complete plan and strategy to apply, you can earn a lot of money through it.

My account was blocked without any valid explanation. They demanded my bank statement and ID, and after I submitted everything, I lost access to my account along with my funds.

This is unacceptable. A platform that handles people’s money should not operate like this. I strongly warn others to stay away unless you are willing to risk losing both your account and your balance.

The market has been a bit saturated and getting clients was a bit hard. But what I like about upwork is it managed to keep its reputation as still the go to platform for freelance work. I also appreciate the efforts of the platform to provide fair service to both client and freelancers. Im still using upwork because I want to showcase my capabilities through my work history and the feedback I received from clients.

I've become so comfortable with the platform that I'm inviting my clients to join Upwork through Direct Contracts. Really dont have to worry about anything anymore.
