Worst service ever , customer service Simon was the rudest person I have ever seen , prices are very bad and they charge double prices for the parts.
They didn’t come on time.

This company provide salon services at home , i booked yesterday and paid via apple pay , and no one came to do the service and no option to cancel unless they charge me 50 sr from the reservation amount , and i raised a complain to the customer service and no reply.

Biggest mistake of my life booking with them. Their "professional" tricked me out of the room asking water ( she was doing my hair) and stole valuable family jewelries. When i contacted urban company they politely sent me a message saying they were sorry for the inconvenience. They still charged me and didn't offer any kind of help. Case is with the police now. Be careful they have no idea who they work with

We booked for a deep cleaning for bathroom/laundry, kitchen, sliding door balcony, windows, oven, rangehood and fridge. I was excited to book for a cleaning service for the first time as I needed help with maintaining cleanliness especially having a toddler and an infant at the same time and full time work. I saw that a lot of celebrities and influencers are booking their services so I got excited. Then the day came and they have sent the cleaners Anton and Cindy. Their attitudes were unbelievably rude! Cindy did not clean the laundry only the bathroom and she said it was not included in the package where it shows it is included. Cindy was talking on the phone the whole time she was cleaning and we overheard that she has cases in the tribunal in regards to her rent which is $900 a week that's how loud she talks while working that's why we heard her conversations. The bathroom was not spotless and the mould and stains are still there did not vacuum the floor tiles as well. Anton was very rude to my Mum who was there helping me with the kids, he was shouting at my Mom and saying why do we have a dirty fridge and kitchen. I mean that's the reason why we hired cleaners right because we don't have time to clean it properly and he was so judgemental with our family. He shouts and saying bad words and very rude. It is the first time we have encountered that kind of person. My Mother got stressed and anxious and palpitations after that. The only positive side is he cleaned the oven and fridge not the freezer very well looks like new. But while doing that he keeps on shouting and complaining. I thought my Mum is going to faint because of the stress. Overall it was a stressful experience and I never thought that hiring cleaners would be stressful and they would complained so much and be judgemental I mean for the price of almost $300! I felt like we were scammed! Never again with this company.

I booked 2 hours cleaning they sent me this lady called Renelyn. Her attitude was unbelievable, whenever I was guiding her she looked at me as if she would kill me. I asked her to make the bed she said it’s too difficult for me to make bed? She was in a rush. I booked her for 2 hours. She worked for 1.5 hours and said I need to go and job was not finished. Since that day I never booked urban company ever.

Terrible company. I booked Wednesday, and the company changed days without informing me. I received a notification that my credit card was deducted BEFORE the service, even though during the booking process, I was informed that my card will be deducted AFTER the service.

Moreover, when I check the details, they revised the details of my booking from deep cleaning to regular cleaning.

Totally fraudulent.

I used them a few times and was happy as the cleaners were great but after todays chat conversation about trying to change a booking (as phone number is being “transitioned) - they would not reschedule a booking and kept my money claiming they are customers also. Very rude and frustrating customer service and continued to message me after I asked them not to contact me again (they had already “kept” my money)

Horrible. I used their pest control and cleaners. Both terrible job.

Very quick and speedy service

Never normally write reviews however couldn’t be more unsatisfied with UC. Super unprofessional and multiple cancellations and no shows, whilst they have already charged you a week ago.

They are running a scam. Unprofessional and rude. They dont care about you, just yoir money. Its an Indian company, so think twice before engaging an Indian/Chinese company. Will never use them again in my life. What a waste of time and money!!!

Company is Fraudulent, Some friends got me a gift card for cleaning as we had a baby in the NICU for ages. At check out there is no place to input the code they gave and didnt recognise the code when there was a spot to try it. Tried their help line and it was disconnected. Either gone insolvent or is a scam.

I booked a clean at least a week in advance as I was going away and having people to stay in my house. I had to pay upfront on the day of booking. Price as not cheap but I figured it was worth it to secure the clean as last time I booked with Airtasker the cleaner let me down on the day and never arrived leaving me to clean the whole house before my guests arrived. The booking was for 1pm and at 1.10pm I got a call from Urban Company to say that the cleaner had a car issue and that they could not make it. I also got an email from them saying the cleaner had a health issue so obviously it was all a lie. I told them that it was urgent that I got a cleaner and although the person I spoke to pretended to try and help me they were unable to get someone to come and so once again I ended up cleaning my house on the day of travel for my guests. They are clearly a joke and and I would most definitely NEVER use them again. Don't take the chance.

DO NOT USE, company is a scam, cleaner came and did not mop floor found stains from dogs paws, paid for oven clean, oven was never touched. Cleaner was meant to be here for an hour and a half, cleaner took 3 hours to do job. Paid for windows to be cleaned, blinds were down so cleaned didn't open blinds to clean. Cleaner gave me number to contact directly not though app, contacted for 3 days and no action so contacted urban company to resolve issue, I was told sorry pretty much bad luck and next time we will make sure it does not happen, I advised them so how about the oven?, I paid to have cleaned and windows I was told it's now been 48 hours outside SLA. I advised them I was in touch with your cleaner and they said that's not the process I advised them well if you're cleaner tells me to contact that's an issue on your end. LOGGED AS A FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION, with my bank as I paid for a service I did not receive. PLEASE USE AIRTASKER instead it's cheaper and a better customer experience.

AVOID USING URBAN COMPANY!!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. Overall the experience of UC was horrendous.

I paid an upfront cost for an end of lease clean, I paid $350 for a 4 hour clean, which included all bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, bathroom.
When the cleaner arrived, he refused to do half the stuff and asked me for more money upfront - which was beyond a joke.

I ended up calling their “head office” to be told, don’t pay anymore and she would sort it. The guy arrived at 8am, and I went to the shops at 9am (after cleaning the whole kitchen myself as he refused to touch it, I scrubbed the oven, the fridge, kitchen tops - all of which are included on the cleaning description on the website!) after I arrived home, he’d already left!

I called back the same head office number immediately and was told that I would receive a call back and they would sort the issue and offered a refund.

I called the number for weeks after the incident and never got through to anyone, then the weeks turned into months and also 6 months after the clean, I got hold of someone who told me “you should have called sooner”

I can’t decide what was worse, the clean itself or the customer service within this company.

After another month, they’d agreed to give me a partial refund and would again “call me back to proceed”. GUESS WHAT, NO CALL BACK!

This company is honestly beyond a joke. Honestly wouldn’t ever use them or recommend them to anyone. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Booked a cleaner for 1pm on a Friday and got told at 12.57pm no one was coming.
Left high and dry for my Saturday brunch.

Terrible service. Do not use ! The last few times I tried to book a service, with plenty of notice (at least a week) a cleaner was either not assigned or cancelled at the last minute. Each time using a pathetic, made up excuse. I have cancelled my account and will never use or recommend this service again.

Don’t believe all of the influencer hype!

We had booked a deep clean well in advance. I’d recieved a missed call (no voice message) and a vague text saying the clean would need to be rescheduled. Upon a follow up call to them they requested I reschedule for a later date, which was not possible nor suitable for me. They then were able to assign a new cleaner to the job but offered a later time, for them to call a few hours later and say that they’d need to cancel that clean too!

So frustrating to cancel at such late notice. Really disappointed

Really poor service. First cleaner cancelled two weeks ago then the booking got rescheduled to today with a new cleaner. The cleaner does not respond to text nor pick up the phone and it's now 30 minutes over the scheduled time.

Waiting for support to sort this out.

Basically home is not cleaned after three weeks of getting tossed around with Urban Company. Very unreliable service and will recommend people to not sign up to this service.

Update: I asked for a refund, the staff tried to convince me to rebook again.but after three failed attempts I've had enough. They agreed to refund and processed on 22nd of May. Still no money back into my account. Lucky I paid via PayPal and can dispute.

Crook of a company. Big red flags, think twice before you use this service.
