DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We had an absolutely dreadful experience with USAVE. Just two hours into our journey to the Dolomites, the car they provided us with suffered a serious issue, and the tyre came completely off. The car had to be towed away to a garage for repairs, where we were told that a replacement tyre had to be purchased directly from Toyota.

We were three girls left stranded with absolutely no support or assistance from USAVE. When we requested an alternative vehicle, they repeatedly told us that we had to return to Bergamo Airport, otherwise there was nothing they could do to help us. This was completely unreasonable, especially given our situation. They even ignored our WhatsApp calls and messages, showing absolutely no concern for what we were going through.

There was no apology, no remorse and absolutely no offer of compensation. We were left to arrange and pay for our own transport to the Dolomites, with not a penny of this covered by the company. In the end, we had no choice but to book another rental car through SIXT just to continue our holiday.

To make matters even worse, USAVE refused to refund our money and charged us approximately £300 for a service we barely even got to use.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. A rental company should take responsibility when the vehicle they provide breaks down, especially when customers are left stranded in a foreign country.

Save yourself the stress, money and disappointment. DO NOT USE USAVE!

We paid for premium insurance and after a misfuelling issue we were told we could claim against the insurance. However, when we tried to find out the insurance details we were met with a brick wall and absolutely no assistance at all. Emails were unanswered and the original hire documents were vague and did not provide contact details of the insurer or a claims process. This means we have now been left with a massive bill which we should have been insured against. Will NEVER use this company again due to the absolute lack of any kind of customer care despite our best efforts to work with them to a successful outcome. Do not use this company.

Great car for a very good price. Good location close to the airport

- the car was not in good condition (engine...). Lucky we didn't have any serious trouble, but no car should be leaving the place in shakey conditions.

Prompt pick up from the airport. Very friendly service. No hard sell of extras. Clean car. Honest inspection on return. All good.

Quick efficient service collecting and returning car

Great experience with U-Save at Bergamo Airport! The car was clean, in excellent condition, and ready on time. Pick-up and drop-off were smooth and fast. Very helpful staff and transparent service. Would definitely rent from them again!⁠

Nice service

Generally a very good experience, although we were a bit concerned about the notice in the collection office instructing us to return the car in clean condition, or our deposit might be claimed. We always aim to keep a hire car in the best possible condition, but sometimes dirt can appear, especially on the outside of the car due to insects etc, and if you are travelling you can't always find a carwash etc.... In the end, all was fine, but it did impose an extra stress about whether the deposit would be refunded at the end of the rental! It would also be difficult for a family, for example, with children with sandy feet, how can tourists find a vacuum cleaner at the end of a car rental?
