Vaillant engineer called out regarding a problem with noise - he arrived on time and was polite and respectful. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, he explained what he was checking and gave a good explanation of what the issue was before leaving.
Adam (102) was very polite friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me how to use the Ecco function on the boiler

I dont know if it is vaillant or the installer that is the problem.
We moved into a new bungalow on 11th Nov 2025. It is fitted with a vaillant heat pump and cylinder with underfloor heating. Since moving in we have has at least 5 issues which required the installer to fix. Mostly leaks either from the heat pump or expansion tanks in the house.
We are on holiday atm and I have now received two error messages on my vaillant app. They say the internal system cannot communicate with the outside unit.
I dont think there is any danger of further damage. The system has just shut down. We will not be able to get it fixed until 19th May when we return.
I have lost faith in this system. When we go away in future we will have to leave a key so that when it breaks down again we can get it fixed. Its not bad now but if this happened when we are away in the winter it could be a major problem.
I was originally told that the reason why my boiler was not working was due to a fault with the condensation pipe ( outside of the boiler warranty). I then sought third party services to fix the issue with the condensation pipe ( at significant cost) The boiler continued to have problems and I was told by an independent engineer that the issue was definitely with the boiler. When I asked Vaillant to come back they confirmed that there were issues with several parts of the boiler. When the engineer came back the following week to fix the boiler they mentioned that the state the boiler was in could have been a danger. The boiler has worked fine since the boiler has been fixed. I have requested a reimbursement of an invoice for the work on the condensation pipe that was done unnecessarily and Vaillant have refused to pay this.
Great quality, long lasting boiler, super service from engineers when services or repairs/replacements are needed, the latter being rare and after 16 years not unexpected.
mick arrived friday found fault but need a prt being saterday we had a big wedding caters ect so hearing this he said he’d pop in on his day off because he didn’t want a special day to be spoilt
he returned saturday and was sorted all good to go for the special day

Our new boiler is working perfectly and runs so quietly and efficiently compared to the old one (made by a different company). We look forward to very many years of service from our new boiler which will be serviced and cared for in the future by Lee and Bret.

Well under 2 weeks from my last post and my new boiler is fitted in under 4 hours. Simon #314 called 24 hrs before to check all was ok and good to go and if the new boiler had arrived, he also checked if it was ok to have an early start. Simon #314 and Gareth #319 arrived on time and work diligently, and efficiently to install the boiler and when complete cleaned up and removed all the packaging and old boiler. I cannot praise them enough. Customer services have also bern very proactive throughout. These are the reasons and the quality of the product why I have stayed with Vaillant.
