DON'T buy from this company! When I first read the review

When I first read the reviews, I couldn't believe that Valentino on-line customer were 83% DISATISFIED with the Customer Service from Valentino. Unfortunately, I read the reviews after the fact!

I purchased a Rockstud pair of sandals in Rose Violet from Neiman Marcus--at the time, they did not have the matching color in the handbag I wanted, so I went to Valentino USA on line. I can not believe that a "designer" company has such poor customer service and such a short return period! (Make sure you are aware that you do not have the normal 30 days to initate a return). I received the handbag, overnight charges were extra and the handbag came to me flawed. I was leaving on vacation the next day, so I thought I'd wait until I got back to make a return, without checking on the short return policy they have. This is my first Valentino purchase on-line. So, when I got back, I found myself jumping through hoops: I was told to take the handbag to the Valentio Boutique in Dallas, so I called to see when it would be an approprite time to go to the store. Well, I immediately learned that they did not take returns because it was over the 14 day return period and that they couldn't send my bag for repair since they didn't fix leather indentations--just lost studs. They even had the nerve to tell me to go to a shoe repair store, across the street from them, to see if the bag could be repaired. So finally, I called on-line and found out that I was over the time limit for returns there too, but I could take pictures of the handbag and send them in to see if I could return the handbag. Well, they approved the return, since all the tags and plastic was still attached and said they would not replace it, but would refund the amount for the cost of the handbag ($2004.00) and I sent it back. The handbag arrived back at Valentino on April 3 and today is April 24!!!!!!! I have called numerous times and each time I'm told that my case will be escalated, which it was NOT, and I WOULD RECEIVE AN EMAIL TELLING ME OF THE REFUND, only to have to wait again for the refund to post. In the meantime, I've had to pay interest on my credit card for this amount!

I love the Rose Violet Rockstud bag, but will purchase it from Neiman Marcus. I assure you that this will be my first and last Valentino Handbag that I will purchase!

My hand bag letters 2of them come off…

My hand bag letters 2of them come off the bag,I hardly use the bag,only for special occasions n its never rubbed onto anything or caught on anything.I wrote to the head office 3months ago now n still not had a response off them,After trying calling them n waiting so long I gave up n wrote letter instead.dont know what to do next

Valentino is a scam - bad quality and bad customer service!

I was sold Valentino shoes which malfunctioned within a month. I was invited to take them to the store for repair, the inner soles were both ripping after one wear. They sent it back to Italy, I was then invited to the store to pick my shoes up, they were given back to me damaged further and the insoles were half glued together - not fully repaired! I invited the customer assistant to look and she refused. When I queried this in store, the lady behind the till shrugged her shoulders as if it didn't matter and she could do nothing. I have been going back and fourth with customer care since January and have now been requested my bank details for a refund. They stated the refund was a gesture of 'good will', it was not. It is a legal requirement under the Consumer Rights Act - do not let them fool you! Had I not of known my rights, I would've been stuck with broken shoes and no refund. For a 'luxury' brand, I am appalled.

DO NOT BUY from this site

DO NOT BUY from this site. I also experienced the truncated APT # problem & UPS returned my package to Valentino. Customer service took no responsibility & handled it like a normal return. Refunds are supposed to take from 7 to 14 business days; mine took 22 days after repeated follow-up. Customer service is of little help and communication is poor. Buy your Valentino from Third parties only

No service

The order took several hours because the online store does not work properly on various devices in various browsers.
A pickup in the boutique was not possible to select for technical reasons. The same applies to the different billing address.
I was thus forced to send the products to another address and have to accept this delivery address as the wrong billing address for the time being.
Now, unfortunately, the service is not able to solve this and writes me again to send everything back and order again, even though the item may then no longer be available.
Unfortunately, I only get delayed and blanket standard answers online.
The service online is in this sense no service and in my opinion business damaging.

Broken high hells with the first time I…

Broken high hells with the first time I wear them. broke in the same spot. Clearly it’s a defect with the same. I hav emailed corporate Valentino office. They respond asking for more info. I provide the recipe and the photos. keep emailing following up as they opened a ticket for me and just keep saying they’ll get back to me. Now after four months of back and forth they redirect me to the nearest store…. So I am busy with my family and I work I can’t keep going and coming. So I email the store and they ask me for the exact same stuff I already emailed corporate. I send them the same info again….. and now I am getting the same response as corporate “it will take 6-8 weeks to let you know” and this is just to get a response (which they never complied with the first time around with corporate….. so I basically feel like this is a run around until I get tired and give up. What kind of designer cost this much and has this terrible service…. Especially for the price point…. You should get quality shoes and quality service…. Not what they give. I will never buy again and also I will let everyone know about this.

Shocking customer service and after…

Shocking customer service and after sales service, bought boots 3 months ago, worn once on NYE, next day went to put them on and the Vlogo fell off, literally walked about 15mins in them, worn inside restaurant then walked back home, paying £1,100 for a pair of boots, to be worn once, shocking quality. After sales service is total rubbish, sent pictures, expecting them to let me send back for a refund, no chance, said I need to take them to London, I live in Manchester so thats not happening, other option is to send them off to be repaired in Italy, which would take 6-8 weeks, why would I want to wait that long to wear them, I'll get them back and it will be Summer. I've worn them once, if that happens after one wear, then its going to happen again and again, bad quality. Told after sales service that not happy to even have a repair since it will happen again, waiting for a reply over a week later still, judging from other complaints for this company I'm unlikely to get anywhere. Stick to Gucci in future!

very bad experience with them

very bad experience with them, i ordered a sandal on Valentino website on December 28th, they charged my credit right away and i received an email that has been shipped on December29th and i didn't get anything yet. We are January 11th, i sent many emails and called the customer service no respond only processing, very very bad customer service, for sure last time with them, the other brands are much better

BEWARE SOFTWARE BUG

BEWARE, Valentino.com order form has a software bug as of December 29th, 2022.
An apartment number put into an optional address field is not getting passed down to UPS.
UPS in turn gets an address get an invalid incomplete address and sends the shipped item back to the sender. Happened to me twice during 2022 holidays and am waiting for more than $4,000 being refunded.
Customer service is completely useless and kept saying they could not amend or cancel the order or correct the address.
What a shame to have these type of bad online experience and incompetent customer service for a luxury brand!

Given partial credit after all items were accepted by their warehouse for credit

I purchased 3 items totaling over $6000 and decided to return all 3 within days. I received an acknowledgment that all 3 items were accepted for credit but I only received credit for 2 items from their warehouse. There is some kind of security problem in their warehouse. I must have over 20 contacts with their customer care group who constantly said they were working on the problem but nothing was ever resolved.

Still, No Refund.

I would have preferred to give a Zero on my experience. My returned merchandise was received by Valentino on November 30th. Today is December 19th and I have not been refunded. I have made several calls and was told to wait another 7 business days. It is frustrating and disappointing to say the least. I really need my refund especially at this time of the year. Next time, SAKS or Neiman Marcus is my preferred store.

Scammers

Don't buy anything online from this company.

I made an order on dec 5th to arrive on sat 10th. Paid $30 shipping and the order was sent late and didn't arrive on time. Then, the package was supposedly delivered on Tuesday 13th and was left outside my building without a signature while I was at work so either the package was never delivered or someone stole it.

It's very disappointing because on top of being sent late ups informed me that the sender didn't allow any changes such directing it to a holding location. The worse part is that that I was supposed to wear the item on my birthday. Now there is not package or refund after 10 days of purchasing and Valentino says the transportation company is on charge of the issue and they won't give any answer before 10-15 days. What a joke and scam. Never buying anything from them.

Heart broken.

I love Valentino, have numerous pieces from them. As a luxury brand I thought they would stand behind their brand and treat their clients with the same reciprocity and elegance as they are treated. My daughter got married in Mexico last January and I bought a pair of gold shoes with the matching purse . Wore the purse once and the outer layer of the purse started peeling. I bought it in Saks Bal Harbor . I was buying a pair of pink platform pumps in Valentino West Palm Beach and took the purse with me. They took it and said they were going to try to help me. But then called me to go pick it up because there was nothing they could do. I live an hour from the store. They did not even offer to send it to me. I was treated so different than when I go to buy. It really annoys me that a brand like Valentino does not stand behind their products. No ethical values whatsoever. Now I don’t see their products so pretty anymore. It’s like when you date a beautiful man but he turns out to be not so nice after all. You just don’t see him beautiful anymore. Valentino learn to be reciprocal. Treat your customers with the respect they deserve. Karma works you know. .

This is such an elegant brand

This is such an elegant brand, I have been experiencing their attention to detail since I purchased my first jacket at 18 in Italy. My latest purchase is a pair of cute flat sandals. Love them, they make a nice evening outfit and perfect for me as I go off high heels now I am in my 50s. Great design, great quality.

Absolutely the most horrible snotty…

Absolutely the most horrible snotty customer service who speak to you like you're dirt on their shoe. My goods were never delivered by UPS and Valentino are dragging out the matter regards refunding me. And now I'm dealing with a nasty little member of the customer service team who is very wise to not include their name as I would like to make an official complaint about them. Never will I ever buying anything from Valentino again. My estimation of them as a luxury goods company has significantly dropped.

To all potiential customers

To all potiential customers: don't buy from Valentino. They have no good quality products. They're not worth the money. The outsole of my shoes got damaged within 2 months from the purchase (June 2022). I had simply wore them twice indoors, sitting in a restaurant. The customer service first said they will provide repair and then changed their mind. Unfortunately, I can't post the pictures here but if you contact me directly I am happy to share them with you so youcan see for yourself. The poor quality is unacceptable and disgraceful.

Perfect delivery within 5 days

Ordered pair of shoes on Wednesday, delivered on Monday in belgium.
Right papers with it, and shoes in perfect condition like advertised on their site.
Was sceptical with all these bad reviews but nothing bad to say.
