First and last time at this company
First and last time at this company. I bought my car in the beginning of November. 1,5 month later the car one day just didn’t turn on again. On the day that I wanted to travel to my family in Germany for Christmas.
After around 20 calls, they finally said I should pay for the road assistance and they would give me the money back(still didn’t get anything back by the way).
When I went to Van Mossel Eindhoven(because they had told me that whatever happens with the car I can go there and they will assist me), they told me that their agenda is full and it would take 7-10 days for the car to get checked. Plus they are not specialised in fiat, so they weren’t sure if they would be able to fix it in the end and it might needs to be transferred to van mossel fiat in Tilburg.
I asked them then if they could give me another car to go to my work at least, since I find unacceptable that I paid the 1000€ more to get the full-service package, so my car would be delivered in the perfect condition. They said “no, we didn’t sign for this in the contract”. Even though they have car rentals and leasing as well.
One week later my partner went there to check what is going on. They told him that the car wasn’t checked yet, but they were very happy because “oh, we found a date to check it. 16th of January.”(it was the 30th of December and already a week after the car broke down)
We are then coming to the day of today, 15 days later, I didn’t even receive a call from them or an update, I’m still paying my loan at the bank of course, for something that I don’t even have. It’s snowing for 6 days and I have no other solution to go to my work or anywhere else. I bought a car, so I have a car and not to bike or walk in these weather conditions.
They just have 0 sense of customer service, they are good when they want to sell and then if you need something they don’t care at all.
I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I went there since they are a big company and they should provide the best service, but I was wrong. Never again.

Service maintenance overdue in the car after buy it. Promise to clean ir as new but just moved a towel over it and after asked for the clean what I paid in the plus packet the answer was, you can get an appointment and leave your car in the place for one day and go without it. They had enough time to clean it perfectly.
After sent an email to ask for the bonus trade I had answer saying it was done but Isn’t.
Great experience
The company is really nice an clean. All the stuff from Waalwjik was nice but Ilyas he help me with everything and he make the experience to be on the same line with me. I was really satisfied because everything was smooth, fast and enjoyable.

Excellent customer service and professional guidance
We had an excellent experience with Van Mossel Oisterwijk. We were looking for a family SUV both either hybrid or electric. We eneded up at Van Mossel Oisterwijk for skoda Enyaq. Mr.Henk Brands was our contact person. He guided us well, no issues during test drive for Enyaq. Everything was explained very well from car itself to purchase , warranty, guarantee and insurance etc. Finally, the car was delivered in two weeks time. Excellent communication and service. I don't know if this the case with all Van Mossel or we were lucky at Oisterwijk with Henk Brands. I expect this level of customer service at all locations and for both pre and post purchase. Overall, looking to any other garage is far behind for us , we are part of proud Van Mossel family. Thank you Van Mossel and particularly Henk Brands.
Think twice maybe three times before buying
Think twice, or even three times, before buying from Van Mossel Mega Occasion Centrum Utrecht. While they may seem professional at first, my experience shows that when serious issues arise, they can leave you completely stranded.
I purchased a Mercedes C-Class from them in September 2024. From first week, the car had serious technical problems - dashboard indicators would randomly turn off while driving, making the car unsafe. Out of the almost 5 months since purchase, I've only been able to actually drive the car for about 3 weeks total.
The car has been in their service center twice, each time for 3 weeks, with additional waiting periods for service appointments. Despite these long repair attempts, the problems persisted. They never provided a replacement car during these extensive service periods, leaving me without transportation.
Initially, they seemed responsive - acknowledging my complaint letter and having the branch manager contact me. However, after the failed repairs and when I sent my contract termination letter in January 2025, they completely stopped responding. No acknowledgment, no refund discussion, absolute silence.
The most concerning part is the safety issue - having indicators shut down while driving is extremely dangerous, yet they seem unbothered by this. I've now had to file a formal complaint with BOVAG as they've stopped all communication.
My advice:
- Document everything from day one
- Don't accept verbal promises
- Be prepared for poor after-sales service
- Consider the risk of being ignored when problems arise
- Look elsewhere if you want peace of mind with your purchase
- Be aware you might be left without transportation during lengthy repairs
I'm writing this to warn others about my ongoing experience with them. Don't make the same mistake I did - find a dealer who actually stands behind their products and values customer safety.

It was an excellent experience since the minute we walked in.
The staff welcomed us very warmly and were very hospitable and professional with regards to our requirements for the car we wanted.
We went for a test drive with one of the staff accompanied us and later finalized all needed details with Rodney Rosenblad who were amazing and explained to us everything from end to end.

Na koop helaas geconstateerd dat de auto lichte schade heeft gehad. In goed overleg deze laten herstellen bij Van Mossel. Auto in onberispelijke staat terug ontvangen. Een dikke 10 voor de aftersales. Met goed gevoel volgende keer weer een auto kopen.

Irresponsibility and incompetence
Hi,
I have been Van Mossel Mega Occasion Centrum Utrecht in 10.06.2024 to make test drive for car and we signed in financial department with sales guy.
There are some documentation which is missed from me requested by Van Mossel Utrecht to me and I provided this documentation. Time of providing the documentation took 1 months even though I dont have a car.
Aggrement was 6000 cash +14400 by bank.
Van Mossel Mega Occasion Centrum Utrecht called me in 18.07 and they said 6000 cash +14400 by bank was not confirmed by bank you need to pay 9800 cash + remaining amount by bank even though I am engineer I am expat and my salary totally fine for this payment . I said them you changed the aggrement with no reason but I am okey. There is mail from Van Mossel Mega Occasion Centrum Utrecht they said that your requested car is no longer available please look at another cars there is link which is highly shocked me. I have never seen such as interesting things.I am so so so disapointed. I would never expect something like this from such a company. I'm a victim, I wasted so much time for another car.
Long story short is communication is big 0 in Van Mossel Mega Occasion Centrum Utrecht. Customer responsibility is 0 there. They are trusting their brands , just what they have is this. I dont know another place of Van Mossel but I am saying that please keep away from here otherwise you will be disapointed as me.

Poor mechanics, poor communication
Everything went wrong and there was no one taking any action to make it better. Our car indicated motor sign 6 months ago, we brought in and sensor is replaced. After 5-6 months we again had same motor indicator with no other symptoms so we brought in as it was still in guarantee period. They said they will check and get back to us in 2 days. 2 days passed, no news. We stopped by to check, they said there is a car in checking station which they cannot move that out so our car in - weird as it sounds like they have one single place for a big car service- we said ok, wait next week; again no calls, no news. We stopped by again and asked, this time, there was no one in charge as the person is on holiday - so no action has been made - they again promised, we wait another couple of days; no one is calling of course. Husband is cancelling his business trips to manage kids drop/pick up and in the end we even had to rent a car as the time between we dropped the car until it is fixed is 3 WEEKS! For a work which they have done in 1 day in the end. They said to us, this time it is not the sensor but the filter needs to be cleaned. And when we questioned then why you did not make a proper check last time as now you charge us twice for opening those parts again. When you are a good mechanic, you should have guessed that filter might also need cleaning if car is from 2018 and worn out sensor and you should have offered the client to do this ‘additional’ check for filter so the car does not end up in service in such a short time for the same reasons. They guy named Erik told us that he will check if any discounts to be made after we challenged him, and in the end, there is no Erik, and there is no discount even there is no ‘sorry’ from the service front desk guy to keep us waiting 3 weeks while all the time they were telling us 2 days, 3 days, 2 day…and he even did not inform his woman colleague about the status of the car when he is taking off as she was not informed about it…such a poor planning, such a bad customer communication both internal and against client such bad mechanics. And in 6 months time we paid 1200 euro for sensor change and filter cleaning and 400 euros of it is for duplicated work for diagnosis, opening the car etc
