I’ve had one tutor for nearly a year, Davin Suonimen. I couldn’t have asked for a better match. He has helped me improve my Spanish conversational skills tremendously. He makes each session fun and productive.

John is an amazing tutor. My son feels successful and is able to understand his math. John is supportive, excited, and fully locked in on helping my son.

Oke listens carefully and corrects my pronunciation. He teaches me knew words, phrases, and concepts but still reviews earlier lessons.

Our tutor, Maryam (Ria) absolutely goes above and beyond to create content that keeps our daughter engaged and learning.

Pat Crow is awesome. He makes learning simple and fun and gives us great materials to study at home. Her grade level went up in such a short time. My daugther had a whole new confidence in reading.

My son really enjoyed being tutored for grade 11 Math. Farhan was able to teach him the concepts he needed to know in a way he was able to understand. His grade came up and his understanding of math is improved a ton, he is able to actually do and understand the problems, not just pass a test. He worked with Farhan for most of this semester and would work with him again next school year.

We turned to Varsity Tutors when my ninth grader ran into major problems in geometry. We used VT for one month at the beginning of the school year to catch up on curriculum that was giving him an issue and then came back right before the NYS geometry regents exam. The tutors we had in both instances were absolutely amazing. My son's grades went from 40s and 50s to 70s and 80s. More so, he passed the NYS regents without an issue. Specific to us, my son has severe anxiety that causes issues when learning hard material. Varsity Tutors took this into account and paired him with tutors who could properly deal with this (while still having incredibly impressive credentials); and they did! We are so satisfied with the company and the tutors and highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional tutors. We got everything we wanted from VT and more--it's worth EVERY PENNY.
