I bought a pair of Veldskoen shoes and was sent the wrong size. I sent them back at my own cost and opted for a refund and never received it. That was 6 months ago and I have been chasing Veldskoen via phone, email, WhatsApp and the chat on their website. Veldskoen have stolen from me, do not buy from them. So disappointing.
Buyer beware. Great looking shoes but the delivery service is not the greatest. Have been chasing Kariega shoes since early October only to have the delivery date repeatedly pushed back. Reordered a few weeks ago. Very long story short, tonight Veldskoen tells me that the best I can hope for is someone to exchange their shoes as everything is sold out. A successful order doesn’t mean that you get the goods within what Veldskoen tells you is the delivery date. Fingers crossed for a speedy refund.
I purchased a pair of Veldskoen Sneaker (black) shoes from the AU store on Aug 2022. I have 2 other Veldskoen shoes of the same vintage different style. I wear these shoes equally. However the sole on the Sneaker has already worn to a point that they are no longer comfortable, while the others are in good condition. I shared my disappointment in a review and on comments on their website/Facebook, but since have been deleted.
I purchased these shoes a month ago. They arrived with a nail sticking out of the sole into the shoe which I nearly impaled my foot on. I emailed to ask about returning them. They sent me the returns form with not much of an I’m sorry you nearly skewered your foot on a nail inside your shoe. I returned the shoe which they were supposed to “assess” for a refund. It has been with them over a week so I emailed again yesterday and was told it would be sorted by end of day. Still not a word. I think this is the first bad review I have ever given a company. But especially seeing as this was an actual health and safety issue and not just an “it doesn’t fit” I would have expected a bit more effort and concern to rectify the situation.
It should also be noted that despite their signage being the same this company is not connected to veldskoen South Africa or Veldskoen USA.
