Ordered bedroom furniture set…
Ordered bedroom furniture set for (a bed, a wardrobe, bedside tables).
PROBLEMS:
- Bed frame supports at different heights - mattress frame wouldn't sit level
- Wardrobe drawer fronts with measurably different dimensions (5mm difference top to bottom on rectangular pieces - clear manufacturing defect)
- Multiple pieces with crooked cuts
- Had to pay professional carpenter €150 to attempt repairs
I contacted velleahome.gr with photos and professional confirmation of manufacturing defects.
Their response over 8+ emails:
- Repeatedly asked for the same information I already provided
- Told me to assemble parts "upside down" contrary to their own written assembly instructions
- Refused refund or replacement
- Never provided return authorization or return shipping for defective merchandise
Eventually gave up. Paid the carpenter extra to make the furniture functional enough to use.
ADVICE: Order from established furniture retailers with actual quality control and customer service. This company sells defective products and refuses to take responsibility.
