Started off well - product and service looks slick and I sailed through the process of setting up my first background check (on myself for my company!)

The candidate process was similarly pain free and I was very happy up to that point. Things then started to go wrong. A couple of the checks that should have been automated seemed to get stuck and the employment background checks didn't send any emails out to old employees. There's no way of "unstucking" the process, or editing the details once they're submitted.

My first few emails to support got a response of "we're checking", followed by total silence. Over a week later and the processes are all still stuck. I've effectively paid £150 for the privilege of filling in a form, sending my sensitive personal data to a website and costing myself hours of work.

Avoid.

Never asked this company to contact me, i dont know where you fish your email database from but remove our email address please and stop contacting us!

Everything was going well in the beginning - our account manager was responsive, service was going fast, everything was fine. Seamless.

Then, in the last two months:
1) we have received zero replies to our repeated emails to the account manager
2) their customer service is just closing our request tickets without any input, despite us following up on them asking for help or at least reason for the lack of input (closing without feedback)
3) our employees are being re-contacted about document/information submission AFTER they have started with us two months ago (?!)
4) there are checks 'in progress', opened since April with no input, questions or follow up from Veremark; we have no idea what's going on in there - the only option we have is to close these checks and not get full information on the background

TL;DR: it was fine in the beginning, then no progress or contact from Veremark and re-contacting people who already started working for us. Looking for a different service provider, happy we didn't sign a long-term contract with them. To avoid.

I do not recommend using this service for those who have to verify their education qualification received in Europe. The service is fully automated, but it seems they have difficulty to assess original documents in foreign languages and supplementing documents properly. There is discrepancy between the EU qualification standards and Veremark categorization system, that doesn't align with ISCED standards.

I’m currently working with Veremark as a candidate for academic verification. While they state that the authentication process takes 10–14 business days, today is my deadline, and I still haven’t received any updates.

From the progress I’ve tracked, Veremark has been repeatedly sending emails to the same university contact without getting a response. I find it frustrating that no alternative method was tried, especially given the urgency. If one channel isn’t working, there should be a backup plan.

As a candidate, every day counts—especially since this verification is just one step before my EP application with MOM. I’m very disappointed with Veremark’s handling of this matter.

I've had the misfortune of having to be verified by this company. They require me to provide two employer referees - serms fair. But then my referees tell me that they've been sent lengthy and highly detailed forms to fill in. One of them sent me a screenshot and they're not kidding. No ex employer has that much time spare to answer in-depth questions such as: what all my tasks were, how well I performed them, what was my ability to learn new tasks and show initiative, on a scale of 1 to 10 how well do I handle pressure, what are my main strengths, what areas could I improve in, how would they describe me as a person, and many, many more. Entire pages of questions like these! That's far too much information to ask for and completely unreasonable.

They don't respect there clients and don't even maintain privacy

I engaged Veremark to independently authenticate the academic qualifications for my staff. From the start, the team was extremely responsive and they not only provided very prompt responses but were extremely reassuring and professional in their feedback and action. Their high competence and clear feedback right through the process was evident and it was sheer joy to have worked with them. Thankyou Aanchal and team for a job very well done.

Based on the most recent communication, I can see that your team's feedback is relatively timely, so I am quite satisfied.

If I have zero rating I will have to gave to Veremark absolutely time waster what I experience it’s some kind of joke,more then 5 time up load my new chip British passports NI driving license proof of address & keep getting mails can I load my passports & NI and the recruitment company is worst then that keep bum batting's emails to me your I’d fail’s putting stress & non stop phones calls make me uncomfortable,what a hell experience coming across with Veremark 👎👎👎👎.

I recently got hired and Veremark was used as the platform to upload my documents. The submission went well as the platform agent assisted me by giving brief and clear instructions on what to do and where to upload my documents. Uploading is super easy as well and I did not experience any lag or loading issues. I was able to finish passing all requirements within an hour.
